I decided to hang out with my football guys, because they were my favorite. I grin as I walked over, and we all fist bumped and talked to each other. We started walking to school, being generally awesome together. As we walked, we passed the lake in our town. It wasn't that large, but it was fun to hang out in and throw people in. As we passed it, I swore I saw something silver flashing in it. We all decided to investigate, as we were still early for school.

The closer we got, the choppier the waves got. I looked back at the guys, biting my lip. We got to edge of the water, and it had waves like an ocean in a storm. I called to the guys to leave, but they were determined to help me figure out what it was. I took a deep breath and started walking into the water, when I saw a weird creature that looked like a... seal? I started swimming towards it, and could almost touch it, when I heard calls for help.

The water was bringing my friends down, though I was barely affected.

I was now faced with a decision. I could save my friends, or try to see what the creature was.
