Zoë Nightshade
Zoë's POV
When Percy caught up with us on our quest to save Artemis, I instantly knew why he was really there. Annabeth. As hard as he tried to hide it, even I, without seeing them together properly, knew that he was in love with her, and from what Thalia had told me, she loved him back.
Even though I'd sworn off men, I still secretly thought about how cute it was. Annabeth and Percy would make a great couple, despite my wanting Annabeth to join the hunters. As irritating as Percy was, whom was I to deny him his quest to save Annabeth? I possibly prevented the situation at the beginning, so thy didn't have the misfortune of spending quality time with a male such as himself.
Curiously, I found myself admiring his bravery, though he wasn't the brightest male I'd had the misfortune of meeting. He was brave to the point of idiocy. Thalia seemed to view Percy as a brother, and Bianca did a good job of ignoring him, as she was a relatively new hunter.
Sadly, I wouldn't be around to watch Percy and Annabeth begin to date, admit their feelings. I was an awful huntress for wishing to watch a girl like Annabeth, with such potential as a hunter, begin to date a back-stabbing male. But I knew that Percy was far more loyal than many other males, so I felt that Annabeth would be happy with him.
I knew I was to die on this quest. My father would kill me, Atlas, but if that was my destiny, that was my destiny. I'd known from the moment I'd heard the prophecy, but I mightn't have been allowed on the quest had others known about how it would cause my death.
Years later, when I was in Elysium, I met a stunning Aphrodite girl, who introduced herself as Silena. I asked her what she'd done to achieve Elysium, and she told me her story, including so many Percabeth references I wondered who's story she was truly telling. "Oh, and as I was dying, I was thinking about seeing my Charlie again, and how sad I was to leave my friend Clarisse, but I was also like, OMG! I'll never get to see Percabeth begin dating!"
"You weren't thinking about, I dunno, dying?" I asked her. ((ZOË ISNT SPEAKING FANCY! *faints*))
"Well, yeah, duh. But, Percabeth?"
I smiled at her. "They aren't yet together?"
"No. But they soooo will be. They are, like, absolutely perfect for each other. My mum will have a fit if they aren't. You know them?" Silena asked me, cocking her head to the side.
"Yes. Once upon a time, I went on a quest with Perseus. To save my Lady, Artemis. Of course, Perseus only went to save Annabeth Chase."
"You're Zoë Nightshade?" Silena said, awe held in her eyes. "You're a hero!"
"So are you, Silena. Otherwise you would not be here."
"I'm no hero." Silena's voice dropped several octaves, and she sounded far older.
"I heard your story, Silena. You are a hero."
She shrugged. ((A/N I just had to add Silena guys. We all love her.))
--THIS LINE BREAK IS MR D IN A BIKINI!--
After I met my dear friend, Silena, and several other casualties of the wars joined us, I'd heard so many stories that I longed to return to the world.
I'd heard how Thalia Grace had replaced me as lieutenant of Artemis, and I was honestly pleased with my Lady's choice. Thalia and I were too similar for us to be friends. ((A/N Annabeth once said Percy and Thalia were alike, and Percy said Thalia and Zoë were alike. But Percy and Zoë are the most different people ever.))
I mostly spoke to Bianca, Silena and Charles Beckendorf. I put aside my dislike for boys when it came to Beckendorf, but never had warmed to Luke Castellan. He was in Elysium as well.
It was seventy years after I'd died when a familiar blond haired girl and a dark haired boy, suddenly looking about twenty, joined us in Elysium.
Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase. They stopped short when they laid eyes on me. "Zoë!" Percy yelled, running over and hugging me, which I squirmed out of. I still hated men. Ew. Okay, maybe I had a soft spot for this particular brave male. I didn't exactly like him, but after that quest, I couldn't deny that we were.... Friends. *shudder*
"It's... Good to see you too, Perseus." I inclined my head towards the girl. "Annabeth."
Silena walked by, turned her head and then saw the two. "PERCY! ANNABETH! OMG! I HEARD YOU GUYS GOT TOGETHER!"
Percy smiled. "We did. And we had five children, in the end."
Silena grinned. "Names?"
Percy and Annabeth smiled at us. "In order, Zoë, Charles, Bianca, Silena and Luke."
I almost cried when I heard my name.
"As much as I hate to admit it, I actually wished I could have seen you get together."
We hugged, and it was a friendship that lasted forever, in our afterlife.
When all our loved ones joined us, we chose rebirth together. We all made it to the Isles of the Blessed.
