Kora Quincy P2

Not very high def but this is sorta how I imagine Kora ^^^

After two days of planning, our plot to get Percy and Annabeth together was shaky at best. I wasn't very creative, and Silena told me that her and the rest of Percy and Annabeth's friends had been trying for years. All her ideas had been exhausted.

"If anyone is going to know, though," Silena said. "It's Thalia. She's Annabeth's best friend, and Percy's cousin."

"Hasn't she been trying to get them together for years?" I asked, confused.

"She was kinda busy being a tree," Silena murmured.

"Huh?"

"Did I say something?" Silena asked sweetly. "No, Thalia's been... Busy..."

"Well, ask her!"

Silena: Thals, Kora and I are trying to get your idiotic BFF with your cousin. Any ideas?

Thalia called. Silena clicked the loudspeaker option. "Silena?" Thalia sounded around about our age, cool and deft. "Hello."

"Yeah, it's me," Silena said. "Look, we're trying to get Percy and Annabeth together."

"Haven't you been trying for years?"

"Yeah, well it's not working!"

"Percy and Annabeth's issue," Thalia said. "Is that both are oblivious to the love the has for them."

"Well done," I said, before I could stop myself. "Aren't you the Sherlock Holmes reincarnation."

"Who's that?" Thalia's voice asked sharply.

"Kora," Silena replied, rolling her eyes. "Maybe you're not so Sherlock Holmes."

Thalia ignored her. "I think I like you, Kora."

I pulled a face. "Thanks... I think."

"Anyway," Thalia continued. "Annabeth and Percy need proof that the other one likes them."

"You'd think," Silena drawled. "That it was totally obvious. Percy's face whenever he looks at her, the way Annabeth acts... I figured that was proof."

"They don't notice it. Percy doesn't know Annabeth any other way then how she acts with him. The looks they give each other, how happy they are; Percy and Annabeth think that that's how the other one acts all the time, because he's never seen how she acts without him, and she's never seen how he acts without her."

"Wow, didn't think to mention this at any point in the last three years, Thals?" Silena muttered.

I could've bet that Thalia shrugged. "Nah, forgot."

Silena swore under her breath. "Okay, so what kind of proof do we need."

"Solid proof. Annabeth and Percy will doubt anything you tell them. They need to tell each other."

"They're too chicken, though," I groaned.

I could hear Thalia's grin in her voice. "Then don't let them know."

--PERCY LOST HIS PANTS! LADIES, GET YOUR CAMERAS. (This is a time skip)--

"Hey, Annabeth," I said, leaning against the locker next to hers.

"Oh, hi Kora," she greeted, shoving her textbook into her school bag. "What're you doing? I thought you were joining that creative writing class?"

"I got kicked out," I said ruefully. "Apparently, telled is not the past tense of tell."

Annabeth wrapped me in a hug. "It's so unfair," she murmured. "You try so hard, and you're one of the best people I know."

"Yeah." I shrugged. "And even Kaelie Whitesmith wouldn't tutor me. She was being as polite as she could, but I could tell. I would take up a lot of time to bring up to scratch, and she just doesn't have that time."

"I could tutor you if you want?" Annabeth offered.

I stopped short. "You'll tutor me?" I asked breathlessly.

"Yes, of course I will," Annabeth said. "I mean, I'm already helping Percy."

"But that's only because you're in love with him."

Annabeth flushed slightly. "Well yeah, but you're one of my best friends, I'd be happy to help."

And she didn't notice that Percy was standing right behind her. Until I averted my eyes to smirk at him. Then she whirled around, her face completely white.

His mouth was hanging open and he was completely still. Dazed. "You love me?" he whispered.

"Seaweed Brain, I--" she shook her head. "Yes. I can't help it, I just—" But her protests were lost when Percy kissed her.

To her credit, she pulled away for a moment to glance at me. She knew. She wasn't just going to kiss the guy I loved in front of me. I respected that, and doubted I would have the same restraint if Percy Jackson has kissed me like he just kissed Annabeth. At my grin and thumbs up of consent, she smiled a brilliant smile and pressed her lips to his.

The cheer from the onlookers was enough to deafen someone.

I was happy for them, ridiculously happy. Yes, I was still in love with Percy. Feelings don't fade at the click of a finger, despite how much you wish they would.

But I never had a chance, so I could give everything to someone who did. Especially Annabeth.

"Ill take you up on that tutoring session," I called. "See you Monday."

A/N: I updated.

Well, no shit Sherlock. I should be the Sherlock Holmes!

I think I love Kora. She's so selfless. I'll have you know that she eventually becomes a huntress and is also a very successful charity worker.

She gets everything she could ever want in the end!

Until next time.

Xoxo, Gossip Girl.
