The realisation of what she had and what she is about to loose....

He left in the jeep

And it blast.......

Loud sound fire , smoke
And her scream.......

She was vibrating on her bed in sleep
Crying out loud.....

As Pooja got up from her sleep and ran to her ....

Calling her name trying to wake her up
She got up from the nightmare
Sweating profusely
Her whole body electrified
Her hands trembling terribly

She was in a complete hysterical state.
Feeling smothered....

Pooja immediately came by her side panicking herself.....
As Naina 's state was really alarming....

"Naina kya hua....
You were having a nightmare naina...
You are ok now"

She saw her surrounding
She saw pooja
And she remembered her dream again
And once again felt dead cold....
The thought of him dying sent chill down her spine....
She froze in horror.....
The horror was so visible on her face that it scared Pooja...

She was breathing abnormal.....
As Pooja hold her hands tight...
Making her drink water....

"I saw him dying"
She finally shared with Pooja...
Afraid to voice it out.... What if it gets true

Pooja asked

And she nodded weeping by now

"Rajveer sir"
She said with fear still gripping her throat tight

"It felt so real...

She got up to wear her shoes

She was adamant to go as Pooja got up to stop her

She gave her the phone from the table

And naina agreed and dailed his number

Her whole body still recovering from the shock.

The bell rang for few secs and he picked up the call.... Concern himself as in why she is calling so late

"Naina ... What happen are you ok "?
Came his voice
Breathing soul in her lifeless body....

As she sat down on bed completely exhausted

"Where are you "
She almost exhaled

"In my quarter, why"?
He was now a bit worried

"What happen naina
You are scaring me"?

"Nothing...
Just checking on you....
I am sorry to wake you up...
Go back to sleep "

She cut the call and took her head between her hands ....
Wiping her tears.....

As Pooja sat there rubbing her back.....

"Zyada soch mat....

Pooja console her....

"It was terrible Pooja
And it felt so real...."

Pooja sat there hugging her friend for a while till she got composed

"Listen don't tell him anything
It was probably nothing
I don't wana bug him...
I shouldn't have call also"

She brushed her hairs back from her face...
And tried to sleep again laying down
Scared to close her eyes
What if she see that deam again

Next day in mess....
As they were walking towards the table with their breakfast tray
He asked her

"What happened last night
Why did you called so abruptly"

She was kind of trying to doge this

"Nothing... Just a stupid dare by Pooja "
She answer very casually with a bit of silly ness.

He didn't asked anything after that but he is definitely not buying it.

Later that day he cornered Pooja to interrogate

"I wana ask you something lt.ghai..."

"Yes sir"

"Naina called me late last night... And she sound  worried
Do you know anything about it"

Now the sister code tells to not share anything
But Naina's state last night was really disturbing
And for Naina 's sake she believes that he should know...
She decides to break the code
And she told him everything

"She was awake all night after that...
I told her to talk to you but she denied
Please don't tell her that I told you "

He was glad that naina has a friend like Pooja.

He still sometimes forgets that how important he is for her.
That she is in love with him
That she wants him equally
She is scared to loose him...

To be this special in someone's life....
It's comforting
It still astonish him that she fear to loose him too...

The thing is he doesn't know how to reassure her...
Fear of loosing is horrific
He doesn't want her to bear it

He slept on this thought.... All night....
Wondering how to make her feel secure...

Next morning during lunch in the mess
Everyone was on table eating lunch.
Chatting and laughing....
Alekh and naina were bickering over something
Pooja telling Adil about Ali....
And huda sitting with his new love interest
Lt. Anamika....

When rajveer entered and spotted the group and walked towards the table.
Naina saw him and smiled but she read something on his face...
As if he is upto something
She asked him by raising her eyebrows

To which he just gave her a handsome smile
And by now everyone on the table had their eyes on him... Wondering why he hasn't got the plate and is not sitting down...

He was just looking at naina with all his attention
Making naina pink already

"When I proposed you for Marriage at your home last week... I wasn't prepared...
I never offered you the ring....
And you deserve a proper proposal..."

She was taken by surprise...
And their friends have already put their spoo down to see the show...
With mouth open and eyes all round...

"Now you know that I am shy and socially awkward so i don't know if i will execute this well... But i wana try..."

He took out a jewel box from his pocket and took out a ring...
And sat down on one knee... With ring in his hand

"Please accept this ring and i wana ask you again.... To marry me....

He made the proposal and by now all the eyes in the mess were on this table.

Everyone stopped to see the result.

Naina was shivering with all the attention and excitement...
She smiled and turned to him while sitting on the end chair.

Extending her hand forward....

"My answer will always be yes...'"
He slipped the ring on her finger.

Huda alekh and Adil started hooting.
While Pooja was quick to take the pics..

And all the other officers clapped and congratulated them in air....

While he kissed her hand gracefully and they got up together to hug briefly..

And they are sitting on the floor....
Her head on his chest
And his arm around her shoulder

She is looking at her ring with a grin....

"I really can't believe you actually did this.
This won't be a problem right "?
She asked kissing his jaw line

And it was off duty hrs .... Lunchtime
We didn't broke any rule technically....
And i just wanted people to know about us ...
I am done staying away from you
We are unable to get collective leave for engagement for next two months.......
We can't get married for many more months

He said kissing her forehead..

"I hope I didn't embarrassed you..."
He asked bringing her hand to his mouth to kiss.

They both got up
Adjusting back their clothes and hairs....
Shrugging off all the sexual energy that got build up....

He said brushing her hairs..

She said in a teasing husky voice...

They kissed dirty one last before he left.
