It was a beautiful hill track ..... Covered with
Pine trees.....
They had a day off and he proposed for a morning jog above the hill top close by there base.

She wore her best jogging suit
And just lots of moisturizer and lip balm
As it was a chilly winter morning.
They were supposed to meet by the West gate by 0500 hrs...
And she was on time so was he

He was there with two sports cycle grinning at her....
"We are gonna cycle there"
She asked excited

"Yupp...
It's 15 mins from here"

He looked here and there and gave a quick peck on her lips
To which she grabbed his face and pecked him back

"I have got coffee "
She showed him a thermos

"That's why I love you"
He winked

They started cycling it was Just beginning of the dawn, morning twilight when the Sun is still below the horizon, but its rays are already reflected by the Earth's atmosphere, lighting up the sky.

Birds were ready with their playlist
The fog was disappearing
Still they were slow.... Feeling fresh air

He teased her to race and they chased eachother.... And soon they were at the foot of the hill....
They lock their cycles
A beautiful track with pine trees hovering on the edges.
Leaves as green as they can be
They started walking holding hands , close enough to brush their arms ....
Feeling positive and gay
This peace they feel nowdays when they are together
Just knowing that they belong to eachother now....

This simple activity of walking beside eachothers....
Is such a luxury
It has been so difficult to reach this point that they truly understand eachothers value
They can never take eachother for granted
They know what they have got and they will appreciate it for rest of their life.

It was light finaly and they were bit warm with walking for an hour
They decided to sit under a tree on stones and grab that coffee....

"Can I ask you something"
She asked

"Do I have another option".
He mocked and she threw some twigs on him

"Untill you discovered about Dr. Mishra....
Did you never doubted her....
I mean before that....
I mean you two were quite interactive and use to spend time a lot"
She asked with clean intention

He gave a thought and looked straight.... Wondering about it himself.

"I can't say I doubted her.....
But now when I can think about it
I never really trusted her completely
There was something about her that always made me put my gaurd on...
I can't explain exactly but it's  like my gut feeling always told me to stay at alert when around her
I think it was in my subconscious
I never processed it consciously

It really saved my ass ...."

He rolled his eyes making her chukle

"You remember she had made pasta for you
And you were having lunch in your quarters"

He paid attention as he recalled it

"I had seen her going through your cupboard
She was startled when I came in suddenly and made an excuse "

"You should have told me this"
He was surprised to learn this....

"I had felt something fishy but
I shrugged it off considering you two were getting along well...
And at one point I was so sure that you two were gonna work things out....

I had absolutely no idea about her intentions"

She said as she took another sip...
But he felt really uneasy

"I am sorry if you felt that way...
But there was nothing between us...
I mean she definitely tried her best but as I had once said that my Focus was always on you...."

He said as he kept his hand on hers to hold her

"Hey
I didn't mean like that....
And i am not jealous or something
It just amaze me sometimes that we have been through so much in such a short time.
And still we managed to bake love amidst all this mess"

He gave a ear to ear smile at this.

"It was fate i guess "
He said

"You wana go out for dinner tonight "??
He asked

And she blushed

"Like a date"?
She asked

"Ofcourse it's long due....
It has been weeks we are together
I would have asked earlier but the cons of dating in Army base "

"So am i supposed to wear cute stuff and look all girly "?
She asked twitching her nose

"Just be yourself
I love that"
He replied....

"Please let me record this
Warna Pooja will drive me crazy
I don't wana wear lacy floral stuff....

And huda to definitely saree ke liye bug karega... I don't know what obsession he has for saree"

She rolled her eyes.

While a thought ran across his mind

"Do you mind if I ask something
Is huda comfortable with you and me ....
I mean he really felt strongly for you....
Hope it's not difficult for him"?
He asked his concern

"You should spend time with him
He has grown a lot....
I do feel sad for him but
I think he has moved on."

"Great because
One of the officer in my unit.
Was asking about him
I can set them up if he like"

"He will worship you "
She said with serious face and they laughed together

As they got up to continue their run.....

He went to pick her up outside her quarter
It was not a secret anymore that they were dating
And it wasn't an issue unless they are conducting themselves and not breaking any rules....and their duties remained unaffected

She was wearing a simple grey colour one piece.... Just above knee
And hairs falling down
Minimum makeup and Silver danglers..

He gave her a good look and took a deep breath
His expression were so loud that she blushed

"Pata hota  that you were gonna look like this"
He saw her from top to bottom
Totally checking her out...
To main thoda aur tayyar hokar ata"
He gave her compliment

"Someone is working on his compliment skills"

"Actually internet se dhundha tha
But i totally relate with it"
He confessed honestly

And she gave a hearty laugh at his innocence...

"You are looking good too"
And she surprised him with a quick peck on his cheeks making him jump .

"Naina we are on ground what are you doing"
He mumbled

And she gave a playful laugh

"Chill everyone knows that we are a thing now"
She made him walk with her to the car....

They are inside the car ....
Kissing religiously.....

"I know I should have waited till the end of the night.... But "
He said breaking the kiss and she pulled her again
"Aisa koi rule hai"
She asked as she kissed him back...

They have gotten comfortable with eachother
Their touching eachothers skin more confident....

He kisses just perfect creating a mental Buble around them....
She feels like floating in another dimension
She forgets the world around them
What was she doing before this what is she supposed to do after this....

He kiss her nape ..... Very soft and light
With minimum pressure
Tingling her skin

His hand kept on her knee
And another hand carefully holding her face placed on jaw line.

A slight pressure on her collar bone and the few wet kisses on her throat....
She moaned beautifully as she pulled him closer running her fingers through his hairs.
Asking for more

He was engrossed in kissing her side neck and shoulder that he didn't realise his hand is sliding on her thighs
Making her squirmy in his hold

His fingers running on her inner thighs.
Half hugging half kissing he pulled her closer
Her chest pressed against his....
Things were getting slightly heat up
And he tried to do more and sucked her skin hard ..... So hard that she almost cried in pleasure
His hand  accidentally got brushed against her breasts
Which were off limits until now
As she was rubbing herself against him...
Restless and urgent

And then as he was roaming his hand up and down
It got brushed again against the breasts even settling there for few secs.

He was smooching her again....
A smooth lip lock

And once more he kissed the neck stem
Just above the contour
His fingers touching the contour already

And in haste his chain came off .... Breaking up ... Entangled in her hands
They got apart immediately and the clouds got clear....

They have taken things ahead no doubt.....

"Ohh nooo... I am sooo sorry....
Apki chain"

She was feeling embarrassed

"That's fine
I will fix it "

He said adjusting his clothes and she brushed her hairs....

"We are getting better in this "
She made a comment as she re applied her lipstick

He blushed and smiled

The dinner was fun
They laughed and talked some more.
Learning about eachothers food habit and preferences

Holding hands over the table.
He can now clear hairs strands from her face if it bothers her...
Placing them behind the ears.

They even know eachothers password on phone
And they have taken the liberty to even answer calls for eachother if needed.

They were having best time of their life
As they sat there talking freely and exploring the nature of their relationship...

Just adjacent to their table there was a very young cliche couple.... Clearly just crossed the teenage...
Doing all the filmy stuff...

They can't help but eve drop on them
As the girl was trying to force feed the boy saying that she won't eat if he doesn't eat
And the boy was resisting...
And the girl was all going bonkers on him

They exchange a suppress laughing glance

And suddenly naina picked up one fries and started forcing on him

"Please eat
Apko meri kasam ....
Warna main bhi nahi khaungi"

She said hilariously mocking and mimicking the girl and he burst out laughing
And she joined him too....

"You are wicked"
He was loving this fun side of her

They controlled their mocking before it becomes too obvious.
"Spare them naina... Bachche hain"
He said sipping his wine...

"Mujhse bas 5-6 sal chote honge..."
She stated

"Maybe life is not that hard for them... sometimes I wonder what that would have been like...
A regular normal life ...."
She said as it hit her .....

Laugh faded away and soon it was serious air ..

A few drop quickly escape her eyes
And she wiped them off quickly...

"Bhaiyya had once promised me that main jab bhi apni first date pe jaungi
He will be my wingman....
But he is not here....

I know he is gone
But sometimes it hit so hard that there will be so many important and happy events in my life that will happen and he will not be around
He will never even know about it...
Like i graduated
I am an officer now
That I am dating
He knows nothing...
That's so unfair.

There were so many plans
We always wanted to take a road trip
So many plans for eachothers wedding
We  wanted to buy that old vintage car...
And spoil eachothers kids....

And now nothing is gonna happen
And that really hurts"

And now she was weeping without caring about those tears....
He feels terrible everytime he sees her cry
This is something he is unable to bear from the first day....
There can never be enough words to heal her trauma

He got up from his seat and sat beside her
Taking her in his warm embrace
Wiping her tears and patting her head

"I am soo sorry for ruining this dinner
I don't know what happened suddenly "

She composed herself rubbing her hands on her face.

"I am just glad that I can hold you whenever you loose yourself....
Some loss are unable to overcome
This pain will always be there....
We will just have to learn to live with it..."

He kept his face on her head as they sat there not bothering about the place or people around...
