She flung the gate open of her quarter and a familiar face turned to her ... And she smiled with all her heart.

Myself Pooja ghai...".
Pooja tried to create nostalgia.... making naina come and hug her tight...

"I can't believe we are posted together and will share quarter again.
This will be so much comfortable"
Naina expressed

Naina and Pooja both applied for
corps of military police...
And got selected

Shillong Army cantonment.....
They both will be assisting
Major Sneha Desai in a case investigation against a war Refuge....

The major role of military police consists of

Policing the cantonment and Army Establishments

Maintenance of Order and Discipline in the cantonments, Army Establishments and to prevent the breach of Rules and Regulations of the Indian Army by the Soldiers serving in the Regular Army.

Maintaining the movements of Logistics, soldiers and vehicles in the cantonments during peace and war both times

Controlling stragglers and refugees in war

Assistance to other regiments, soldiers and their families

Aid to Civil Police and is responsible to make liaison with Civil Police, Naval police, and Air Force police

Investigating Cases of the Indian Army

Alekh and huda is in another division of the cantonment in shilong....
Mostly associating with combat forces along the Eastern territories....

"Aur suno.... Love life kaisi chal Rahi hai..."
Pooja asked as she is helping her to unpack

"I don't have a love life Pooja"
Naina never sounded this disappointed to her .

"Ashiq to hai..... Jo love life start hi nahi hone de raha...."

And for the first time she is not afraid of being overheard.

Naina shared her concern

Pooja got all serious and naina looked at her

Naina started beating her with pillow while she rolled down laughing

Again a double meaning line and naina put hands on her ears....

I can tease my friend as much as a like... Like every best friend does."

She asked terrified

I am gonna tease you to death"
Pooja side hug naina and she too hugged her back still recovering fro the shock....

It's been another three months
And she still has no clue about him....

Huda and alekh are always stationed at left wing division
And naina and Pooja keeps working in main head division....

The four of them manage to grab Lunch and dinner together most of the time....
And second and fourth Sunday night is always there when they hang out together...
Exploring the city....

Alekh was working with one of his colege lt. Ajay rao
Inspecting a nearby village ... A regular visit

Ajay was a nice officer and has often started having lunch and dinner with four of them...
Even spent a weekend or two together...

He learnred about them being batchmate and even sensed their close knit bond...
He even learnred about Ali and Pooja and all about ud .. although he never met both
He was really impressed with the group and was a great friend himself

"Alekh do you think if i will ask naina out for coffee , she will agree .."
Alekh choked on the water he was drinking.

"Kya"
He asked surprise as he didn't see this coming

"I mean i really admire her
Her guts , her strength....
I mean i heard about her brother and why she joined army.
And i have never been this much impressed by anyone i think...

I don't believe she is seeing anyone....
You two are almost like sibling i feel...
So i thought may be I should ask you first...
You know her so well...."

If it has been any Tom dick Harry ... Alekh would have punched him...
But Ajay was a genuinely good guy...

Naina had came accross some bais and judgment in first month of their posting
About being who she is
Nothing too serious....but still
And Ajay was the one one who was not only civil and well behaved but he even took a stand for her ....

He had overheard Ajay defending naina in her absence as well and this was when Ajay was not even a friend of them...
Which was one of the reason alekh had invited him to sit with him during one breakfast when it was just alekh and huda

And he has blend so easily with four of them.

And he saw him

She has a very serious and intense history with someone....
And she is really serious about him"

Aajy asked to keep up his spirit high

"Not committed....
But i haven't seen any couple so devoted to eachother..."

Ajay asked to know more

Par Tera chance nahi hai , ye pakk hai"
He told him the truth

I think I should at least try once...
May be 1 percentage chance ho...."
Ajay was not willing to give up...

Pooja told naina as they lay on their bed that night

"Alekh ne bataya
Uske alekh se discuss Kiya tha...."
Pooja was smirking

"Stop smiling like an idiot
Ye ladkon ko kya keeda kat ta hai ...
Achche bhale dost hai , kyun bhasad karni hoti hai....
Matlab ladki sukoon se single bhi nahi reh sakti....."
She was bickering like crazy and Pooja knew that she is frustrated from not hearing about him in last 5 months

She can only imagine what it would be like to cut connection with Ali for such a long time

"Chid kyun Rahi hai
Mana kar dena"
Pooja tried to calm her down

"Ladko ko NA samajh kaha ati hai ...
Wo meri na ko Han mein badal na apni life ka maksad bana lega
Badi mushkil se huda ko sudhara tha

She came out of nowhere suddenly
And sat in front of him... Making him perplexed with her sudden words.

Aajy cursed alekh

The thing is that I am in love with someone and .... I don't think any one can change that."

She told with honesty and he nodded sportingly
