Sex is a gift from God. God created a means by which people could have sex. I'd love to tell you that getting older doesn't mean we can have sex with one another. God created sex for people in marriage. Being 21 doesn't mean we can now have sex. Living alone and without parental guidance, does not mean we can now start having sex. Having sex before marriage is wrong. 

God's will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. - 1 Thessalonians 4:3 (NLT)

God's will for us young people is to stay away from all kinds of sexual sin. Don't have sex. The world will always have reasons why you should indulge in such activities, but remember, your service is to God and not to the world. Before you make a decision, ask yourself what Jesus would think about that decision. It's easy to know what Jesus thinks. The word of God is Jesus. Jesus is the word of God. 

What does the Bible say about sexual sin? 

Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NLT)

The bible tells us  every sexual sin is punishable by God. What's the punishment? We wouldn't be able to enter the kingdom of God. When sin becomes repetitive, it becomes harder to let go. I'd be lying if I said sin wasn't pleasurable. There's a reason it's easier to sin than it is to live righteously. The word of God is very clear. We should not indulge in any sexual sins or put ourselves in situations where sexual sin can happen. 

Should I watch pornography? 

Abstain from every form of evil [withdraw and keep away from it]. - 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (AMP)

The bible encourages us to stay away from things that appear evil.Something evil is anything that is bad. Pornography is bad. When you watch pornography, you input in your minds distorted views about sex that can change you psychologically. Since it's so easy to watch porn now, sexual gratification has become cheaper than it used to be. 

All things are lawful [that is, morally legitimate, permissible], but not all things are beneficial or advantageous. All things are lawful, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]. 1 Corinthians 10:23 (AMP)

Porn will never benefit us. Watching porn will only make you conscious of things you are not supposed to be conscious of. Nothing would ever be the same again. You'll look at women differently and you will look at men in a way you've never seen them before. Suddenly, everything about a woman or a man will be relating to sex. Pornography has no boundaries. Any body with sexual organs can have sex. That will never be God's plan for us. 

Spiritual ways of overcoming sexual sin

1. Prayer - "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:15 (AMP)

There is nothing Jesus cannot save us from. If there's any sexual sins from the past, ask God for forgiveness in prayer and start all over. He will hear your prayer. 

2. Confession - If you hide your sins, you will not succeed.

If you confess and reject them, you will receive mercy. - Proverbs 28:13 (NCV)

Confession is a powerful tool that God has given to the believer. Confession draws the mercies of God towards us. When David confessed, mercy was given to him. 

3. Study the word of God - Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. - Romans 12:2 (NCV)

The word of God changes the way we think. The more of the word of God we have in us, the more of Jesus we have. The word of God is able to transform us completely. 

Physical methods of avoiding sexual sin

1. Do not stay up too late doing nothing. Our minds easily wander off and drift into weird imaginations. That's why the bible encourage us to cast off our imaginations and subjecting them to Jesus. ( see 2 Corinthians 10:5)

2. Do not stay alone in a room with the opposite sex late at night. It's dangerous. It doesn't matter if you are dating. 

3. Replace old habits with new habits. Discover some new things about yourself that you never knew. 

4. Change your friends. Decide to have very spiritual friends. Friends that can help you become a spiritual Christian. ( see 1 Corinthians 15:33)
