Our break was over and soon we would go back to Concerts,  Interviews and even advertising.

We were back in the studio conference room with Stan.

"So how did you enjoy your break?" Stan asked.

"Pretty good."

"That thing you guys did with the fans was amazing the critics are raving about you guys good stuff! Of course there are some doubters but there will always be doubters. Anyways so i've been talking with the big boss and he thinks that seeing you guys are so involved with your fans which is a good thing. You guys should have an appreciation concert cheap admission, Orginal songs all livestreamed on Yahoo and Youtube."

"What's the catch?" I asked.

"You got two months before we start putting everything in motion."

"So we got two months to write how many songs?"

"7 minimum and i have a couple of offers lined up for you guys advertisements, interviews other concerts and performances but last and most certainly not least you guys have been invited to perform at the IheartRadio Music festival!"

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yes!"

"Great!"

"Yes so are you guys up for the challenge?"

"Hell yea!"

"Great!"

"Mark and i will get right on it."

"Perfect i love you guys! Always on point!" Stan said.

We laughed. "Stan how many songs are we required to sing at the appreciation concert?"

"10 at the most the concert has to be about an hour or two long."

"That's perfect we can create 8 songs then just bring back two of our earlier songs for old time sake!" I say.

"Good thinking." Mark said.

"Yes well anyways today you have an interview and right after i need to rush you guys over to the the Fine bros. REACT set they want you guys to react to a video."

"Sweet!" We all said.

We went through with the interview and then the react set.
We got done reacting and said our good byes.

"Thank you guys so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to do a video with us!" Benny said.

"No problem! Thank you for having us we'd be glad to collab with you guys anytime." I say.

"That's great we'd love to have you guys back again."

I thought about the fans in the video and our appreciation concert.

"Hey um in about two months tops we're having an appreciation concert for our fans we are working really hard to make enough money so it's little to no cost to attend and i was thinking we could invite the teens from that video to the concert." I say.

"That'd be great!" Benny said.

"Definitely when ever you guys get an official date give us a call and we'll get them the tickets!" Rafi said.

"Great!"

We went home and Mark and i immediately headed downstairs to the bandroom.

"Ok so i was thinking we hadn't done a duet in a while and another duet has been high in demand since irresistible."

"Ok so a duet."

"And i really think we should get lexi and Spencer to think of something."

"Yea that too!"

"I got an idea."

"Hit me."

"Alright so how about we  make a mini competition out of this me and the guys will make some songs how ever many we can come up with and you and Julia can do the same then we can decide which songs we like whoever has the most likeable songs wins."

"Wait a second are you Mark Edward Fischbach challenging me to a song off?"

"You bet!"

"Alright i'll tell Julia."

"I'll tell Jack and Spence."

"May the best songs win!"
He kissed me before we left.

"Hey Julia!" I said.

"Hey." She said.

"So you and i are gonna work on some songs together."

Suddenly i heard laughter. I looked over to see Spencer on the other side of the couch grinning like an idiot at his phone.

"What's up with him?" I asked.

"I don't know he's been on his phone all day."

"Probably playing a game anyways come upstairs we have songs to write!"

We went upstairs into my room and got to thinking.

"Ok so what should we write about?" I asked

"Well considering the concert is about love and appreciation let's write about love." Julia suggest.

"Yea! So um so what type of love?"

"Ooooh here's something i've always wondered."

"What?"

"How did you and Mark end up together."

"Oh." I felt my cheeks burning.

"Yeaaa so tell me!"

"I got super drunk with Urie and then i fumbled over to Mark and we ended up on the beach we made out for a while and then went to the hotel and built a fort of out sheets."

She smirked.

"What?"

"We are writing about you and Mark!"

"Seriously?"

"Yes!"

"Ok so we're gonna need more than the day we got together to make a song hit me with more questions?"

"Name some things he tells you he loves about you."

"He says he loves the fact that i don't wear make up and he think it's cute how i almost completely against it. He also says he liked how i was hard to get. But how could i let my walls down with him that easily in the beginning he was acting a fool."

"True."

"But once i did i seen how similar we were."

"Aww."

I thought about then an old beat i forgot all about came to mind.
I grabbed my journal.

"I got it!" I cheered.

"Yes! Let's get to writing."

Spencer's pov:

Spencer: Seriously?😂

Queen Lex💙: Yes i think Oliver has a thing for you. 😂

Spencer: What makes you say that?

Queen Lex💙: Every time i mention you he says. “Ooh and how is that sexy thang doing?”

Spencer: Seriously?

Queen Lex💙: Dead serious😂 at first i thought he was being funny but now im not so sure.

"Spencer!" Mark called.

I jumped and put the phone down.

"C'mon man did you hear me?"

"No sorry i was really into the game. Um what were you guys saying?"

"About the competition with the girls we need song ideas."

"What about i don't know...love."

"Love?" Mark questioned.

"I mean the concert is about appreciation and love so why not?"

"Ok so what about it?" Jack asked.

"Seriously guys?" I say.

"What?"

"You two are both in a decent relationship and can't say anything about love?"

"..."

I shook my head. "This is gonna take forever."

"Well anyways (Y/n) and i wanted to know if you and Lexi could come up with with something for the concert one of your magical duets."

"Ok i'll try to get in contact with her and see what we can do."

"Great."

We came up with a bit of the song and then. We went to bed.

I on other hand stayed up.

Spencer: hey! sorry i left you hanging the guys and i had to write a song.😛

Queen Lex💙: No stress I understand. Work keeps me busy.

Spencer: Speaking of which. Mark and (Y/n) wanted you and i to perform a duet..

Queen Lex💙: At the house?

Spencer: No like at a live event. We're having an appreciation concert in two months.

Queen Lex💙: I don't know Spence...

Spencer: c'mon queen why not?

Queen Lex💙: Singing in front of a small group of up to 9 no big deal. In front of over 100 or more? I can't do that. That's your thing

Spencer: Noo it's no different than talking in front of over 100 people like you and Oliver do.

Queen Lexi💙: I don't wanna

Spencer: C'mon it'll be fun plus that means we'll get to spend more time together.

Queen Lex💙: Fine

Spencer: Yay! Come over tommorrow so we can start writing.

Queen Lex💙: Ok what time?

Spencer: sometime around 5 or 5:30.

Queen Lex💙: kk😋

Spencer: well we better go to bed.

Queen Lex💙: i dont wanna sleep. Im not sleepy.

Spencer: ik but i have a lot to do tomorrow and so do you. Ill text you in the morning k?

Queen Lex💙: fine 😭

The next day...

Your pov:

It was another busy day we just got back from shooting a Walmart™ advertisement which was fun because this was the only time we had a real excuse for acting like a complete fool in the store we rode around in shopping carts and other ridiculous stuff you would definitely get side eye for doing publicly on your own time.

Julia and i have finished our first song earlier and we are working on a second one.

Currently we are all in the game lounge.

Julia and i are sitting in front of the big screen we were watching a movie but ended up having an across the pond conversation with Mark and Jack (who were partaking in a very intense game of air hockey) about songs while Spencer was on the second row of seats in the very last chair. Secluded in his own little world. However he didn't seem so upset about it. Once again he was on his phone smiling as if he didn't have a problem in the world.

"What's he smiling about?"

That seems to be a common phrase with Spencer these days.

"I've been wondering the same thing." Mark admitted.

"Hey charming!" I said.

"Spence?" Mark said.

"Spencer!" Julia called.

He snapped out of his daze.
"Yea!yea uh, what's up guys?" He said.

"Finally we've called you about 3 times already."

"Sorry i was playing an intense game." He apologized.

"Of what?" Jack asked.

"Words with friends."

"Words with friends?" I questioned.

"Yes words with friends there are some pretty smart people on here like you would believe the words i discovered are real." He said laughing.

We shook our heads.
"Carry on ya weirdo." I said.

When i looked back at him he was already on his phone.

"You and i both know he can't be grinning that hard over a game of online scrabble." I said to Julia.

"Exactly."

"I'm going in for a closer examination." I whisper.

-cue leh epic sneaky spy music😂-

I crouch down and slowly make my way over to him. I accidently hit Mark's foot.

"(Y/n) what are you-"

I put my finger to my lips signaing him to shut up! Then motioned over to super distracted Spencer and he got the hint.

I did a somersault and right when i was so close.....

-DING DONG-

The goddamn doorbell rang. I got up as if i was never trying to be nosey to begin with and walked over to the exit.

"I'll get it." I say innocently.

When i was out of the room i threw a many tantrum over the doorbell ruining my super awesome spy moment.

Spencer's pov:

"I'll get it." (Y/n) said leaving.

I looked at the time.

5:26pm

Fuck!!

I ran to the the bathroom which was right beside the gameroom and made sure my hair was in line and ran to greet Lexi.

I opened up the door and seen Lexi standing there. With her shades propped up on her head in a nice simplistic outfit not my personal preference but it was cute:

"Lexi?"

"Hi! Is Spencer here by any chance we're supposed to be working on our song today."

"Oh yea-"

"Lexi!Hey! You are a couple of minutes early!" Spencer said.

"Correction i am actually right on  time." She said showing me the time on her phone.

"I forget you were always right on time or early type."

"Band motto remember? To be early is to be on time. To be on time is being late." She quoted.

"Well Lexi and I are going to the park for some inspiration." Spencer said.

"Do you guys wanna come with us?" Lexi asked me.

"Nah you two are old friends you could use the catch up time without us bugging you." I said.

"That's too bad-" Lexi started.

"Well we better get going." Spencer said.

"Alright be safe." I said to him.

"We will lil'momma!"

I closed the door and went back to the game room.

"Where's Spencer?" Mark asked.

"Oh he Just left with Lexi to go to park to get inspiration for the new song."

"Why wouldn't he tell us?" Jack asked.

"He's a grown ass man." Mark said.

"Yea i mean he is the 2nd oldest of the group so. He wouldn't say anything unless it was a date then he would tell us. Relax guys it's just him and an old friend catching up after god knows how long." I say.

"True." Everyone agrees.

Spencer's pov:

(Y/n) closed the door and i wrapped my arm around Lexi's shoulder.

"Now tell me why in the world you invite them to our picnic?" I asked her.

"Why not? not they are your bandmates after all and  i didn't see any harm in it."

"If they came it wouldn't be much of a date now would it?"

"I wasn't aware that this was a date Mr. Vincenté." She teased.

"Well you Ms.Calloway have just became aware of this date."

She giggled. "Yay so what park are we going to?"

"I never said we were going to a park."

"But that's what you told (Y/n)."

"Yea that's what i told her not you." I said smiling.

"So where are we going? I didn't pack a picnic and cooler for nothing."

"Get in the passenger seat and just ride." I said opening her door.

She gave me her keys and sighed.

"Don't wreck my baby." She warned.

"Not a scratch." I promised.

She got inside and closed the door. I got in on the driver side.

"Did i ever tell you i admire your taste in cars?" I asked.

"No you haven't."

"Well i do."

The car:

We drove off.

"Can i guess where we're going?" Lexi asked

"Be my guest but i don't think you'll get it."

"In that case nevermind."

I laughed. "Relax ok trust me you're gonna love it."

I took my hand in hers and kissed it. She smiled which made me smile.

"The weather is very nice out today. But then again it's california the weather is always sunny."

"Very true." I agree.

"Can you at least give me a hint?"

"Hannah Montana there is your hint."

"Are you kidding me what kind of hint is that King?" She said laughing.

"It's a hint take it or leave it."

"Poo." She said pouting like a child

I laughed. "You know what?" I said.

"What?"

"I think this the perfect time to roll the top down on this baby!" I rolled down the top and the wind hit me it felt so nice.

"Wooh!" I cheered.

Lexi threw her head back laughing making me smile more.

She put on her shades.
"This is already the best date ever!" She cheered.

"You got an Aux Cord?" I asked her.

"Yea why?"

I gave her my phone.

"My passcode is your birthday." I tell her.

She blushes shaking her head and types in the passcode.

"Plug it up and go to Spotify." I further instruct her.
She does so.

"The playlist should already be open just hit play!"

"Spencer and Lexi's RoadTrip Playlist? How long have you been planning this?" She asked me.

"All night." I said smiling.

"Can you stop being so charming!?" She joked.

"I don't know if it means making you smile then i don't wanna ever stop."

"Oh my gosh this is all the old songs we used to listen to!" She said smiling.

"That's right baby AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Queen, Journey and Kansas!"

"You even got some new songs mixed in here! Panic! and Twenty-One Pilots!"

"What are you waiting for hit play!" I said laughing.

We were singing along to every song we knew everything seemed perfect!

"How Far are we?" She asked.

"Go on my phone and text (Y/n) and tell her that we might be a while cause we ended up in Malibu." I said smiling.

"Are you serious?!" Lexi said smiling.

She squealed then got a sudden look of realization. "Oh that's what you meant by Hannah Montana she lived on Malibu you smart alec!" She said laughing.

"I should've beat you in words with friends!"

"Don't be sore because i beat you five games in a row!"

We finally ended up on the beach.

"Oh my gosh this is beautiful." Lexi said admiring the beach.

I got the cooler and the Picnic basket out of the backseat.
"So where do you want to set up?" I asked.

"I don't know you choose."

"I hate how laid back you are sometimes." I admit.

"But you love it."

"Damn right, Hey,  You might want to take off your shoes those look too nice to get all sandy." I tell her.

She takes off her shoes and throws them in the car. I carry the cooler and basket onto the beach and set up.
We sat on the blanket and ate turkey sandwhiches with chips and beer and the occasional sodas.

"So Queen have you...been with anybody since i left?"

"This is embarrasing no actually i haven't." She admitted bashfully.

"Why not? I mean you're a very gorgeous woman you could get any man you want I'm pretty sure there was somebody who caught your eye."

"It didn't feel right,  i mean Oliver has tried to set me up on blind dates or had me try dating websites. But it always ends one of two ways 1. It ends in disaster and i end up never wanting to see them again or 2. I just end up leaving because it didn't feel right."

"Why didn't it feel right?"

"Because even if i didn't want to admit it to myself i wasn't over you. When you left dammit Spence you thief...you took my heart right along with you." She said giggling.

"I'm sorry ma'am as much as i hate being criminalized your heart is one item i'm afraid i do not plan on returning it would only be fair." I said.

"Why's that?"

"Because you have my heart as well."

"Well we're both common thieves huh?" She joked.

"Guilty." I say.
We laughed.

"What about you Mr.Charming? Anyone catch your eye after all these years?"

"Nah i was too busy making sure Julia and I had enough to make it through the next day to worry about dates and Relationships."

"I know that had to be tough."

"It was i had to maintain two jobs to get Julia through ths rest of school and pay for the hotel we rented. After she finally graduated we kept moving foward moving from place to place job to job my excuse for my resumé being so long was always My mom and Dad keep us moving for my Dad's job. It seemed to get me the job every single time"

"I wish i could've helped."

"You helped more than enough you got a job for me and Julia and spent your allowance on us. Gave us birthday presents. For a 17 yr old girl you did more than enough and i thank you for that you didn't have to do that."

"But i wanted to i couldn't watch you struggle."

"You're such an angel."

"Nah i'm a mischievous demon in disguise." She joked.

"Well you sure have fooled me."

"I wanna get in the water but i don't have a bathing suit." She pouted.

"You wore shorts just take off your shirt and you'll be fine."

"You're going in with me?"

"Of course!" I throw off my shirt and she takes off hers. I help her up and we run into the ocean.

"Eek! It's cold!"

"Lexi we learned this is science the ocean isn't exactly a jacuzzi if you want an all natural jacuzzi you'd have to go a hotspot in Alaska."

"But then i'd burn to death from the lava!"

"See you're remembering i'm so proud of you!" I said pinching her cheek she stuck her tongue out at me.

"I'm cold but i wanna go farther in."

"Well you know what they say the only way to warm up is to dive in." I say smirking.

"No you better not!" She warned i scooped her up into my arms.

"Put me down!" She squealed.

"Are you sure about that?" I taunted.

I pretended that i was gonna drop her she squealed.

"Spencer James Vincenté Jr. put me down now!"

"Oh full name? I'm tempted what's the magic word?"

"Please!?"

"Ok." I dropped her but she grabbed my shirt just in time and pulled me down with her.

We laughed and she climbed on top of me. "Pay back!" We spent a bit of time in the water before we ended up making a sandcastle. I took pictures of her with me phone and she did the same for me.
"Ahh that was fun." She said.
She was sitting in my lap.

"It was but before we call it a night dance with me."

"What?"

"Dance with me."

"Music?"

"Phone."

"You sly dog."  She got out of my lap.

I grabbed her hand and we slow danced.

"I'm not going anywhere." I whisper to her.

"Me neither." She said smiling.

I kissed her and damn the sparks never die.

"Alexis Calloway of Orange County will you do me the amazing honour of becoming my girlfriend?"

She giggled. "Spencer James Vincenté Jr. i would love to be your girlfriend."

We kissed again before the 5th track came on.

We laughed.
"Remember we danced to this song at our prom?"

"How could i forget the dance."

We danced and remembered every step. It was as if we had been doing it since yesterday. Soon we pack up and get ready to go home when suddenly it starts raining very hard.

"Son of a motherfucking bitch!" Lexi cursed.

I looked at her with shock.

"What?" She asked.

"I've never ever heard you curse."

She laughed. "I only curse when i get upset and i'm mad that we didn't put the top back on in time."

"Don't worry atleast we got in the car in time right?"

"Yea."

"It's raining pretty hard i say we get a room somewhere and head out first thing."

"Yea i don't want to risk getting into an accident."

We find a nice hotel on the beach front and get a room. I was thankful we weren't recognized all day.
We brought in what little stuff we had with us. We put out clothes in the washing machine and we took our showers. We had to sleep in our underwear since everything else was in the washing machine. Then finally got settled down.

"I brought my guitar to work on the that song." She said.

"Hand it over i already have a beat."

She giggled and handed me the guitar. I texted (Y/n).

Spencer: Hey lil' momma it's really pouring down on us here in Malibu so we decided to keep shelter in a nearby hotel til' morning. See you guys first thing tomorrow.

Mommsy: Same here it's raining damn cats over here! Be safe and take care of yourselves😊

Spencer: We will thanks.

Mommsy:GN

Spencer: Good night.

Lexi and i worked on the song which only took an hour before we were finished:

But we ended up making another song for the concert.

Afterwards she passed out and i couldn't help but admire how adorable she looked soooooooooo i took a picture. I felt kind of stalkerish for it but. She's my girlfriend and best friend since 7th grade. I can tease her with it and get away with it.
I threw our clothes in the dryer and went to bed. Even though i wanted to cuddle with her. Out of respect i got a room with two beds.

The next morning....

I got up, got ready and woke her up.

"Morning love." I cooed.

"Morning." She mumbled.

"I set your clothes out for you. You can go ahead and shower."

"M'kay."

"Come on Queen get up."

"No King No." She said in a child's voice.

I sighed. "I hate to do this. You leave no choice."

I tickled her she squealed and squirmed under my touch.

"Ok I'm up!" She said.

I let her get dressed up then we went out for breakfast and she bought me matching sunglasses before heading back on the highway we had the top down and the radio playing silently.

"I had fun yesterday." She said hugging my arm.

"Me too baby." I kissed her hand.

"Thanks for taking me out."

"No problem anything for one of the most important girls in my life."

"The other being Julia. I would know she's like a little sister to me."

"You were her first sister ish figure. But don't tell (Y/n) that." I joked.

She giggled.

"Make sure to send those pictures to me."

"I will later, I love you."

"I love you too."

An hour and a half later we ended up at my house.

"So this is where our day of romance ends." I say.

"That is true." We got out of the car.

"Why don't you come inside i'm sure everyone would love to see you again."

"I really would love that but i got brunch with Oliver in 37 minutes and an interview with the queen of rehab herself Lindsey Lohan shortly after."

"Well text me when you can and tell me all about it k?" I say and we laugh.

"That i will do."

"Good."

I lean her against the car and wrap one hand around her waist the other cupped her cheek and i kissed her which turned into a five minute make out session before she pulled away.

"If you keep this up i'm gonna miss brunch and Oliver will be pissed."

"Well if he gets pissed then he can kiss my ass."

"And he'd be more than happy to."

We laughed i gave her one last hug.

"Tell everyone i said hi."

"I will."

I walked in the door expecting to bee bombarded with questions but i walked in to see (Y/n) sitting on the couch sipping tea.

"Morning Spence," she said smiling.

"Morning."

"How was your trip?"

"It was good."

"Explain to me how the hell you ended up im Malibu." She said laughing.

"You know how when you're best friends you sometimes end up doing something out of the blue and spontaneous?"

"Yea."

"That's what happened at first we were headed for the park then we just decided hey why not go to the beach!"

"You got pictures?"

"Plenty."

"Come to the game room we're watching Friday the 13th you can show us pictures afterwards."

"Sweet!"
