Okay so we just finished eating and we're heading to our temporary home. I noticed that Charlotte's been acting a little different ever since she fell asleep on the plane. I think it has something to do with what people were saying about us on the plane. I told Ron and Pops about it while she was sleeping and they told me to remind her that it doesn't matter what people think and to establish that what I feel for her isn't just a game. We get back in the car and this time I am given the aux cord 😈😈. The fun begins as I play Work since I know it's one of Charlotte's favorite songs. She immediately pipes up and starts singing along while dancing in her seat. Eventually we're all singing along and then of course I just have to steal some attention.

"Yeah okay, You need to get done, done, done, done at work, come over we just need to slow the motion don't give that away to no one long distance, I need you when I see potential I just gotta see it through if you had a twin, I would still choose you I don't wanna rush into it, if it's too soon" I rap while staring at Char hoping she catches what I'm going with here. She nods briefly before joining into sing the next line with me.

"But I know you need to get done, done, done, done," she goes back to humming after this, "If you come over sorry if I'm way less friendly I got niggas tryna end me, oh" Charlotte looks at me shocked that I actually said the word 'niggas'. I wink at her and she just laughs. 

"I spilled all my emotions tonight, I'm sorry rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin', how many more shots until you're rollin'? We just need a face to face you could pick the time and the place you spent some time away now you need to forward and give me all the" I rap and then Charlotte along with Ron and Pops join us for the chorus although Ron sings proudly while Dad grumbles the lyrics. He hates this song but it's pretty catchy and he knows he just can't resist. 

Soon enough we pull up to a really nice looking house and a woman standing outside who just so happens to be Liv. She smiles widely as we all get out the car and Charlotte sends her a confused look. 

"Yeah I took off work early at my other job because I knew people were coming in, I didn't know you were the people though, you guys will love this house it's amazing. Here are the keys, wi-fi code is on the kitchen counter along with some money for dinner for about 3 days. Enjoy your stay and call me if there are any concerns, my number is on the fridge." Liv says as she hands each of us a house key and then leaves right after her speech before we even got to thank her. I walk right up to the door and unlock it, we all enter the house and explore. It was gorgeous, the layout of everything was amazing and we all sat down in the living room after we finished exploring. ( AUTHOR HERE - THIS IS DOWNSTAIRS)

"Okay so we're all going to get our bags out the car and settle down. I trust that Char is going to go all crazy and spray everything down-" Pops starts to say but then Charlotte cuts him off.

"Bets to believe I already sprayed everything twice, forwards and backwards. We'll need more Lysol." Char comments and I smile at her.

"Okay well then I guess we can just unpack uh you guys are gonna share the master bedroom while Ron and I take the beds in the guest bedroom. All we ask is that you don't get pregnant during this vacation." Dad says and Charlotte bites her cheek and reaches out to smack her dad's leg. He jumps and tries to walk it off as he goes out the front door. I catch Ron giving him dap and I laugh at the two. 

"Char you know I wouldn't" before I could finish she completely cut me off by staring at me harshly.

"We are too young to be doing any of this, we should not even be near each other. I will sleep in the chair next to the bed. We have no idea what we're getting ourselves into and we should stop before we get hurt." She declares and then stands up swiftly leaving  me speechless. She walks to the car and I clench my jaw. Where did that come from? I get up and go get my bag from the car. I shove passed Charlotte on my way out which is technically her coming in, we're going to have to talk later. As I'm coming back in I make a stop in the kitchen before going upstairs, I take a picture of the wi-fi code just in case and then I proceed to give myself the hook up. I continue on upstairs and I enter my bedroom to find Charlotte's unpack. I sigh and do the same thing. We're literally right next to each other and avoiding each other. I immediately and close the bathroom and our room door.

"What's up?" I ask her as I lean against our room door, my arms crossed and my jaw clenched.

"We have no idea what we're doing just because we are great friend does not mean we have to be anything more. Jasper's always been a huge sweet heart but I'm not just going to go after him and the same consideration should be shown to you." She murmurs. She stopped packing but she's not looking at me.

"Jasper's different. You're not attracted to him like you are to me and that's okay. True we are great friends but my feelings for you have shifted, I like you more than I like my friends. I may not fully understand love but I do know that if it were to be something close to how I feel for food then it'd definitely be how I'm willing to grow to feel for you." I speak truthfully. Shit, I sound so damn sappy. I sigh and uncross my arms. I get off the door and walk towards Charlotte, I press myself against her even though she's still facing sideways compared to me. I'll tease her just a bit, I tilt my head so I'm looking down at her. I kind of lean down a bit so my breath will hit her neck like I want.

"Charlotte speak, look at me, laugh, smile, cry, do something so I know you're understanding me." I breathe out right on her neck. I catch her hairs go up and the small shiver she tries to hide. Oooo I gave her the shivers 😎😈💃

"I get what you're saying but you heard what those people said. I've always been considered rather mature and wise, I don't want to mess that up by being a stupid teenager who follows their heart just for it to get broken even though you'd never do that to me but still." She admits with a shaky breath. 

"If there's anything I've learned about you and there are many things, one that I like more than others is that you don't care or well you've learned to stop caring about what people think. You do what makes you happy, what makes you smile, what makes you feel gooood." I say trying to lighten the mood. I know it worked once I hear Charlotte chuckle. She turns and looks up at me. She rolls her eyes and speaks with a smile,

"You are aware that you're a dunderhead," which I laugh at and roll my eyes then stick out my tongue, she does the same before continuing," but thanks and you're right. Okay so we won't date right away obviously but I can stay open to that idea. So technically you can still talk to other girls and I won't get jealous because I'm not yours and you're not mine." She declares as her smile falter on her last few words. I shake my head at her.

"I don't care, we may not be dating but I've already got the hots for you. I've had them for a while which means I'm not doing shit with anyone else. No flirting, no kissing, intimate hugging, casual dates or anything and you have every right to be jealous if I do any of those things because we both know we're together just not officially together yet." I say because I want there to be no confusion. Usually I, and probably other guys, will like one girl but still mess around lightly with others cause technically we're not in a relationship so it's not like we can't, it's usually just stupid careless fun but the only person I want to have stupid careless fun with is Char. 

"Ohh okay." Char says stupidly in a daze. She bites her cheek and I cup the side of her face.

"Was your face always this warm?" I ask her but I don't even wait for her response. I touch her neck and her arm to see if it's just her temperature but she's not that warm anywhere else. I look back in her eyes with a devious smile. 

"You're blushing and it's cause of me." I say proudly. Charlotte opens her mouth to say something but then she just squeaks and goes back to biting her cheek. 

"DINNER'S HERE! IT'S PIZZA, PEPPERONI, BACON AND SAUSAGE!" Pops yells from downstairs. I quickly kiss Char's forehead and mumble a sorry. Before she could even ask what for, I scoop her up throwing her over my shoulder and racing out the room to the kitchen. 

"Henry! Put me down on my gosh you're moving too fast! Slow down! I'm on your damn shoulder chill out!" She screams at me and starts banging on my back, nope not gonna work. She eventually stops.

"Hey, was that muscle? Dude you take care of your body huh?" I hear her mumbling then I erupt with laughter. I put her down on the island and move to the open pizza boxes on top of the stove. Ron and Pops are in the living room already eating, 2 sausage slices were missing and 1 pepperoni slice along with 1 bacon slice were missing too. I already know what Char wants, I quickly turn around and wash my hands quickly. I grab 2 pepperoni,1 bacon and 1 sausage and I deliver all the slices safely to Charlotte. She puts them on a plate and then gives me one. I take it and pile up taking 1 sausage, 2 bacon and 2 pepperoni slices. Charlotte narrows her eyes at me.

"Really 5 slices?" She says and I shrug taking a huge bite out of my sausage slice. She rolls her eyes and lets out a small sigh, we join Ron and Pops in the living room. Ron grabs the remote from beside him and turns on our smart tv, he goes through it with the remote. 

"Dammit it won't work." He grumbles and Char starts giggling while I full blown laugh, he's starting to turn red and he's so angrily focused on it. 

"You're pressing the wrong button." Pops mutters to him making Char and I laugh even harder. Eventually he gets Netflix up and running and we're watching Supernatural. After about 4 episodes Ron and Pops are passed out so I just grab their plates and wash them including Char's and my own. I finish and rinse my hands off to look up and find Charlotte staring at me.

"What's wrong?" I ask and she opens to her mouth to speak but tears immediately trail down her face. I move to her and wipe them off.

"Hey hey, it's okay. Everything will get better." I say and then I kiss her forehead as I pull her in for a hug. We just stand there, her crying into my chest and stomach while I just hold her until she stops. We silently walk upstairs but I can already tell whatever just went through her mind caused a major setback. I walk into our room first, turning off the light and Char trails behind me. I take off my shirt and pants. I grab the extra sheets out of the closet and I just pet them on the chair next to the bed and I lay down there. I look over to Charlotte and she's already cuddled in bed.

"Thank you." I hear her mumble, I just let out an 'mhm' so she knows I heard her. 

I woke up the next morning to find my hand was holding Char's and she moved closer to me on the bed. I just close my eyes to go back to sleep. Never again will we go a night without sleeping in the same bed.
