Chapter 2: Meeting Genocide Jack

In your office, you were going through your computer and updating your records of the therapy session.

"Well, it has been a productive week. Some truly opened up during our sessions and some are still trying to figure out if they can trust me. Not unexpected, these things are supposed to take time."

You heard your buzzer ringing and you looked at the monitor, seeing Toko on the screen.

"Come in."

She entered and sat down.

Toko: "M-morning, Y/N."

"Morning, Toko. How have you been doing?"

Toko: "Well, the fact that these masks are mandatory is a little helpful when you don't want people to see what you are feeling."

"Yeah, and it's kinda surprising that they gave the eyepieces prescriptions for those that have trouble seeing."

Toko: "Yeah. It's nice to know I don't need to wear glasses under these, but I do keep them on me whenever I need to take them off. Gets stuffy in this room sometimes."

"And everyone does have to clean them. Going to something different, you said you have a darker side. Does that side have a mind of its own?"

Toko: "Yes."

"The 'other' crimes you were involved in, were you aware of them?"

Toko: "Not entirely."

"Can I see this darker side of yours?"

Toko: "You will be in danger."

"I want to know my patients better."

Toko remained silent for a minute before turning her head back to you.

Toko: "If you want to see 'her', then do it somewhere away from this place."

"I know where."

You took Toko to an unused warehouse away from the Academy. She saw chairs and a table there that looked similar to the ones in the office.

Toko: "Why is your furniture here?"

"Let's just say I respect and value others privacy. Take a seat."

You and Toko sat down as you brought out your notepad.

"Our session continues," you said. "May you please bring forth your other side?"

Toko sneezed and passed out. After a minute, Toko seemed to wake back up but was giggling. She then hopped up and pulled out scissors that were concealed in her dress and laughed maniacally.

"Hello, Genocide Jack."

Jack: "Who are you?!"

She then looked around and noticed the mask on her face.

Jack: "Different question: Where are we, and what's on my face?"

Jack pulled off her mask, revealing an abnormally long tongue.

Jack: "When did she start wearing this thing?"

"Memories aren't linked. Personalities are indeed separate."

Jack found her glasses and put them on.

Jack: "That's better. Why don't you take off your mask as well? I want to know if there's an adorable man under there."

"I'm just above average at best."

Jack: "I'll be the judge of that."

"Our session is still going. Please, take a seat."

Jack looked at the chair behind her and slowly sat down, but kept her scissors out. From there, your session consisted of Jack giving a lot of odd poetry and philosophies about her view on everything.

"Okay, our time is almost up. Can you tell me what you see in this image?"

You pulled out the exact same image you showed Toko before.

Jack: "A girl sitting in a corner. Something growing inside of her. Demanding to be let out. Wanting to tear apart those that put her in that state."

"Okay, thank you for your answer."

Jack: "That's it? Seriously? You're in the presence of the most dangerous serial killer, and you're acting like this is just another day?"

"Everything starts with just a conversation."

Jack: "You're a very strange guy."

Jack sneezed and Toko returned. She looked at you, and was left surprised.

Toko: "You're still alive?"

"Apparently. We should return to the Academy."

Toko: "Right."

Toko put her mask back out on her mask and left the warehouse with you.
