Unofficially Official

News had spread somehow and Luke and Ashton weren't really in the closet so it's not like they were hiding their friendship.

There were a few girls that cooed whenever they walked by and the two boys seemed to be conversation school wide. Luke had completely forgotten about his plan but it seemed to be playing out perfectly.

They'd gained status as the only gay couple in the school-which was a raging lie considering Calum and Michael were a lot more public about their relationship, Ashton and Luke didn't even have a relationship technically. The school didn't care though, people said hi to Ashton in the halls-but not to Luke because Luke was scary.

Since the whole outing thing, people were trying to sit with them daily. No one was really in it for friendship more likely just to add little bits of gossip into conversation later on.

"Hey Luke, I've got to research for a paper so I need to go to the library." Ashton said, looking at Luke for a fraction of a second longer than needed.

"Want me to come with you?" Luke asked politely, hand coming to rest on the small of the other boy's back. Luke was already thinking about how cute Ashton would look staring down at a book with concentration written across his features. He could already imagine sitting across the table from him with his eyes peaking over the top of some zombie book that he wouldn't actually be reading, it sounded like fun.

Ashton smiled, grabbing Luke's hand and leading the way. The walk was rather short but it seemed like they'd walked for longer because they were so wrapped up in themselves.

The library was a large spacious area broken up into sections by bookshelves, a couple tables were scattered around and the library only contained a few students. The library was a lot nicer than anyone have it credit, the school went through the trouble of being actual furniture into the room so students could feel more comfortable while diving into a novel. At the very back of the room a short sofa was jammed into a corner and it happened to be Luke's favourite spot, never really looked there so he could lounge on the couch when he didn't feel like going to class. Sometimes he reads, sometimes he'd sleep.

Luke was the first to sit down, The Secret Circle in hand despite noticing it was potentially geared toward females. Ashton mentioned that he would be back after finding a couple books about art history.

Luke got up and went to see if there was a sequel because the first few pages of the first book were a little bleak but he could see the temptation to read on. He was going to stash the series under the couch to make sure no one could take them until he was finished reading.

While browsing and trying to find the right spot on the shelf, movement on the other side caught his eye. A boy that looked younger than Luke was placing books on the shelf, he certainly didn't look like he was placing them in the proper spot, one had marker on the pages that read Math 11, presumably a math textbook. The boy on the other hand was cute to anyone's standards, his olive skin and jet black curls were desirable and he appeared to have the darkest blue in his eyes that Luke had ever seen. He wore a shirt with a band Ashton raved on about whenever anyone brought up music, Luke hadn't listened to the band but he knew Ashton was in love with the guitar solos. Luke pulled the book he was looking for off the shelf a little louder than necessary, accidentally catching the boy's attention.

"Um hi," the boy greeted with a shy smile. He squinted at Luke the way Ashton did when he wasn't wearing his contacts. "Forgive me, I forgot my glasses at home."

"It's quite alright," Luke chuckled, knowing how forgetful Ashton always was when it came to his glasses.

"I'm Rory," he introduced himself while awkward sticking his hand through the gap between books for Luke to shake. His hands were a lot softer than expected and kind of wanted to make Luke start moisturizing his own.

"Luke." The blond looked away, hearing Ashton hiss his name from somewhere in the library.

With his hand still shaking Rory's he realized that he didn't want them to meet. Rory was the guy, Luke had only just met him and he already knew. Slightly panicked, Luke released the boy's hand and mutter a quiet goodbye and headed back to his acclaimed couch.

Ashton was there, squinting at the book about modern art in his hand. Luke couldn't help but roll his eyes, of course Ashton would forget his glasses. He opened his backpack and fished out a pair of glasses that Ashton had left at his house one time, he had two pairs because he often forgot wear he put them and his mother was forced to buy yet another pair.

Dropping them on Ashton's lap he flopped down next to him with a sigh. The bell rang almost immediately after he'd sat down and he sighed even louder.

"I'm not going to class." Luke deadpanned, like Ashton was about to suggest they should. The curly haired boy shrugged and went back to his reading, making it obvious that he wasn't either.

"Luke?" Ashton asked, cutting off the other boy's excessive chattering.

"Yeah?"

"Shut the fuck up."

"No?" A grin made its way to the blond's face as he sent a challenging look in Ashton's direction.

"Shh."

"No?"

Ashton sighed, "Can you please shut the fuck up?"

"The fact that you said please almost makes me want to, but the answer is still no." Luke laughed, happily putting down his half read book. He was glad to have something else to do, he always had trouble getting through a novel when other people were around him.

Ashton raised an eyebrow, looking annoyed. "Seriously, shut the fuck up."

Suddenly Luke had a playful smirk on his face as he leaned closer to Ashton, they exchanged glances and Ashton couldn't help but make assumptions at what Luke was about to say. Luke's approach was slow but Ashton felt like he still didn't have enough time to prepare himself.

"Make me," Luke whispered in his ear, pulling away enough so Ashton could see the smirk on his face.

Ashton could feel himself getting a little hot at the way Luke's eyes darkened and how close they suddenly seemed but he quickly made himself look disinterested with Luke's playfulness.

"Okay, you can keep talking. But I'm not listening." He stated, pulling his headphones out of his pocket and plugging them into his phone. Luke watched Ashton scrolling through his music intently, surprised that the boy couldn't care less that Luke obviously wanted to engage in some face to face.

His eyebrows furrowed when Ashton scrolled past some of his favourites, he usually never scrolled passed anything by All Time Low unless he was in a really bad mood.

He made it all the was to the S's before he slowed down, choosing one quickly he locked his phone and stuffed it in his pocket. Luke really wanted to know what was playing so he didn't hesitate when pulling one of the earbuds from Ashton's ear and putting it in his own.

Everybody wants to know
If we fucked on the bathroom sink, Luke almost choked on his spit when he heard the starting verse, he knew the song but he wasn't completely expecting Ashton to be listening to this song of all songs. If he was listening to Strange Love than he obviously wasn't as disinterested as he'd led Luke to believe.

Ashton was a tease, it seemed.

How your hands felt in my hair
If we were high on amphetamines, Ashton put work on the arm of the couch and might have accidentally knocked in onto the floor shortly after. He gave Luke a sort of lopsided smile and leaned back into the couch comfortably.

And everybody wants to hear
How we chainsmoked until three
And how you laughed when you said my name. Luke found himself leaning over Ashton, one hand keeping himself from toppling onto the boy underneath him.

And how you gripped my hips so mean, a hand slipped carefully under Ashton's shirt and rested against his hip. He let out a breathy laugh as Ashton tugged him closer by the shirt.

We wrote a story in the fog on the windows that night
But the ending is the same every damn time, no, no, no
We wrote a story in the fog on the windows that night
But the ending is the same every damn time. Ashton's eyes lip up as his smile widened considerably at their closeness. He couldn't help it when he uncrossed his legs and shifted farther under Luke. The blond was slow as he moved slightly so he was in between Ashton's legs.

They think I'm insane, they think my lover is strange. Their lips connected without a second thought, there was no further teasing amongst them.

But I don't have to fucking tell them anything, anything
And I'm gonna write it all down, and I'm gonna sing it on stage
But I don't have to fucking tell you anything, anything. Ashton moaned quietly into the kiss, so quietly that it was almost drowned out by Hasley blaring into in their ears. Luke thought momentarily that it fit the music somehow, but at this point he would have thought it fit perfectly with any song.

That's the beauty of a secret
You know you're supposed to keep it
That's the beauty of a secret
That's the beauty of a secret
You know you're supposed to keep it
But I don't have to fucking tell you anything. The atmosphere around them became a lot hotter and Luke found himself lifting Ashton's shirt up a little farther but still trailed his hand back so he was gripping Ashton's hip once again.

Ashton pulled on Luke's hair slightly and the headphone ended up coming out of his ear but he only noticed vaguely, too caught up in what Ashton was doing with his mouth.

The heat was no longer just surrounding the two boys and making their skin burn whenever they made contact, it was starting to heat up slightly below the belt. Ashton suddenly found himself getting frustrated with the lack of friction there, a leg slipped in between Luke's and he raised himself off the couch slightly so that their mouthed weren't the only things moving against each other.

A/N: in the back of the room where nobody looks, he'll be with his boyfriend. He's nOT READING BOOKS!

I accidentally made it sound like they were doing a lot more than just making out with a little friction but I'm going to assume that it's okay.

I was expecting it to go that far myself but it just kind of happened while I was writing, so yeah... I don't think the next chapter will be that heated but who knows at this point, there's a lot of sexual tension.
