Three

Baekhyun's POV:

"This is not a bar!" I shouted over the blaring music. Strobe lights were flashing everywhere, almost blinding me completely, girls in tight leather skirts and crop tops were jumping to the beat of the music and even men with hair dripping with sweat were up on the dance floor. I wasn't claustrophobic, but even then I felt like I was so confined I couldn't breathe. The heat of the enclosed room was making me feel dizzy. I held onto chens leather jacket so I wouldn't loose him in the suffocating crowd.

I only just heard him when he replied with "since when did I say we were going to a bar?" Chen pulled me across the room until we reached the other end "well it has a small bar in it! Does this count?" He laughed and we sat down on the high stools as he asked for two drinks I had never heard of.

"Do you even know what you're ordering?" I leant closer to him and shouted towards his ears so he could hear me.

"Not really! But I'm up for an adventure!"

The music was already starting to hurt my ears. 'Couldn't they turn it down at least a tiny bit?'
It felt as though I was turning deaf already; I'm not used to this. At all.

There weren't as many people around the bar as there were on the dance floor so at least I had a bit of space. After examining the neon lit room, Chen poked me and handed me the brightly coloured drink he ordered. I looked at his and noticed he had the same thing.

Well if I died from poisoning, I knew this brat would have gone down with me.

"I can't believe I'm doing this!" I said before we both took the first sip together. The strange liquid tasted fruity and sweet which matched its appearance. Although it wasn't what I expected, I didn't want to admit that I liked it just yet.

"Omo! This is amazing!' Chen shouted already extremely hyped. "I want to dance! Come on!"

"Wha—no I'm fi—" before I finished my sentence I was being dragged to my feet and back into the crowd. Just what I wanted. Not. "Chen! I don't want to!" I tried to shout back but he didn't seem to hear. As we got into the centre of the dance floor, Chen copied the actions of the people next to us and began to jump.

I, however, still didn't want to. At least not yet. I stood still, getting pushed slightly by girls almost falling on top of me.

"Chen! I'm going back to sit down okay?" I tell him and he nods and carried on moving to the beat. Trying my best not to get lost, I search for the bar I had just been sitting at.

When I found our seats I sit and take my drink in hand. Just as I was about to take a sip, I realise I had left it without anyone there to watch over it. 'What if someone drugged it?'. I put it back down and slide it away sticking to the things my mother had always warned me about. 'I'm not falling for that trick'
I fan myself with my hand, hoping Chen would get bored soon so I could leave this stuffy place.

I attempt to keep my self occupied with something else for the time being. As I looked for something to do, I ended up just watching my surroundings.
This girl on the edge of the dance floor, close to me, was probably a bit too drunk; she had already fallen over four times in a row, another guy sat against the wall not far from me looked lifeless and also quite bored which made me wonder why he was here, this guy was trying to chat up this girl straight in front of me but the girl looked as though she was teasing him. Her dyed brown hair was hanging over her shoulders and her long dark eyelashes were fluttering as she sat  straight on her stool.
I couldn't see the guy next to her becuase she was blocking the way but occasionally the volume of the music lowered enough so I could hear a deep voice that could only belong to a man.

I watched the girl write something on to his large hands, get up out of her seat, smile for the last time before leaving him on his own.

'Wait'

Red hair.

After waiting a minute before the girl was out of site, the familiar red haired guys smirk had vanished as he reached for his phone. He copied what she had written onto his hand into his phone. That's when I realised: of course it was her phone number.

I was still shocked to see the guy we only saw yesterday right in front of me, when I thought I would never see him again, that my eyes wouldn't move from his direction.

Only after he smirked at me was when I realised I was staring. And to be fair, he looked nice. Okay more like handsome.

All of a sudden the tall red head was moving closer to me. I sort of panicked in that moment thinking maybe he would be one of those who try to drug you in places like these. My mother always told me people with brightly coloured hair are dodgy people and cause trouble.

"Hey" the stranger said. 'Oh this isn't so bad'
"Do you like what you see or do you just stare at everyone?"
'Okay nope. I take that back'

"W-what?" The guy laughed over the music.

"You're cute"

"Please don't drug me"

"Wait what? Drug you?" The red head laughed at me again and sat in the high seat next to me. "Why would I drug you?"

I shrugged and finally looked away from him.

" you came here alone?" He sparked after a moment of silence. Well it still wasn't really silent but that wasn't the point. I shook my head, sneaking a glance of the boy who still seemed to be smiling at me. "Then what's a pretty boy like you sitting alone?"

I shivered at the words 'pretty boy'.

"I just don't like how little space there is" I mumble hoping he can't really hear but either he has extremely good hearing or he's used to lip reading from spending too much time in here Because he replied almost instantly.

"You get used to it" the guy dropped his smile and continued to ask me questions. "What's your name kid?"

"I'm not a kid and why should I tell you?"

"Wow I've got a feisty one"

"Ew never say that again"

"Fine how old are you then?"

"Again why should I tell you?"

"Because you're cute and I want to buy you a drink"

"That doesn't explain why you need my age or name"

"Wow you're quite stubborn too. Two in one."

I see the red haired guy look past me as though he's watching something or someone. Just as I was about to turn around to see what he's looking at, I feel someone shaking my arm.
"Baekhyunnie!" Yup. It was Chen. Thank you for giving away my name you brat. "I want another drink! Buy me One!" I looked in the corner of my to see the guys smirking.

Gritting my teeth, I reply "no! One is enough for you!"

The stranger buts in, Placing a hand on My best friends shoulder. "It's okay I can buy us drinks!" He shouts.

Chen looks at him and his mouth drops as if he's only just realised he was there " oh my god! Baekhyun look! It's him! The red haired guy we saw yesterday!"

"Wait you saw me?"

"No" I quickly say and focuse back to Chen "shut up Chen"

"Wow he looks even hotter up close" Chen said and the red head laughed, clapping his hands together in amusement.

"Why thank you" he said to Chen but then turned to me and asked: " is he gay?"

I gulped, aware of what might happen next " Erm no, bu—"

"Baek is though"

"Chen! I'm gonn—"

The tall red head didn't move, instead smiled and nodded. "I thought so"

"What do you mean you thought so?!"

" you sit with you legs crossed and you already look like you're full with sass"

"Not everyone that's gay crosses their legs"

"True but I've finally found one that does" this stranger looked as though he was having a hell of a good time with picking on me. It's like having another Chen! "Anyway back to the drinks! What do you want, Baekhyun?" He shouted over the next dance anthem that came on, emphasising that he now knew my name.

Great.

***

Chanyeol.

That was his name. At least I thought that was what he said—it was hard to hear and I had already had another drink by the time be told me. 'It was only fair' he said 'I know yours so now you know mine'.

Well at least I definitely wasn't giving him my phone number like that girl did.
No way am I doing that.

Chen had disappeared into the crowd again, taking his drink with him. 'Chanyeol' still sat next to me, not moving an inch. He complained at me for staring at him to begin with but for the whole time I've been sat with him, it's seems as though that's the only thing he knows how to do. His eyes haven't left me once. It almost feels like I'm trapped and can't leave.

I see him smirk but this time it's not to me. I look over my shoulder and see another group of girls that seem to be giggling. Each and every one of them are in high heels with small skirts and a skin tight top that lit up in the strobe lights. I frowned thinking about the last girl he spoke to.

"I'm afraid my time here has ended" Chanyeol said and stood up with his nearly empty drink. I turn back his way but don't look him in the eye, instead I just let it slide. "It was nice meeting you, Baekhyun."

"I'd like to meet again"

And with that he wondered off leaving me alone.
