Baekhyun's POV:

In the end I had to call Chen to move his arse and come and help me carry this damn shopping. I was waiting for his over half an hour and when he finally came out the main doors, he laughed at me for breaking the shopping bag. Boy, he didn't know what an awful experience I had to go through just for him.

As soon as I got into our apartment and put away the shopping, i immediately went to my (or I guess our) bedroom and closed the door. Hoping Chen wouldnt get too suspicious, I began to look for a mirror of any kind. Since we had only just moved in, the walls an decorations were pretty bare as you can imagine. There was only one mirror in the apartment and that was in the hall, but do you really think I would apply eyeliner right in front of my best friend?

"I put a small one in here I'm sure" I said trying to keep my voice low while rummaging through my bags. What? I always keep a mirror handy. Just incase I see someone good looking and I want to look my finest. I thought that was obvious.

After moments of throwing out crap from my bag my fingers felt the cool metal shaped in a circle. I pulled it out and held it up so I could see my eyes.
Then, with the eyeliner pencil I moved it closer towards my eye—my hand slightly shaking.

'I'mgoingtomessthisup'

Honestly I wasn't sure where to start first. Pressing the pencil on my eyelid while attempting to make a neat and fine line was a task—I keep blinking and it smudged in some places but I was glad that it would wipe off easily.

I had finished the first eye (after for what seemed like houurrrss) and examined it in the mirror. Not to brag or anything but... You could say I must have been a natural.

I guess it was from watching those videos on 'HOW TO APPLY EYELINER FOR THE FIRST TIME'...

How I was going to face Chen like this I did not know.
'Maybe I should just rub i—'

"Baek Baek Baek!"

'Too late'

Chen had already barged in, sending the door crashing in to the wall. I lowered my head before he could see—I didn't think he noticed.

"Baek! Come quick!" This is when I lift my head slightly—I was curious to what was happening.

"Why? What's wrong?"

Of course I was wrong. "There's —Oh wow. You look different" Chen was grinning, now standing with on foot on its heel, arms crossed and head tilted to the side. He slowly nodded in approval. "Nice. I like it."

This truly was quite embarrassing. Well at least I must check Chanyeol's definition of gay: i sit cross legged and I'm wearing makeup. "Just carry on, what were you about to say?"

"Oh yeah, there's this guy at our door and he wants to use one of our phones."

"What why?"

"I dunno. He says he needs to call someone urgently but he's kinda locked himself out of his room and he left his phone inside. What do I do?"

"How am I suppose to know?" I said as I got up, dropping the eyeliner pencil and mirror on the bed and exited the bedroom with my roommate following me. Once I got to our door I was greeted with a smile by a boy more or less my height. He looked younger than me but not that mattered. For some reason he almost reminded me of a cat.

"Hi" the boy said who was still waiting at the door but also looked anxious—maybe that stupid scenario actually did happy. However the boy still managed a smile.

"Hey" I replied returning the smile, Chen right behind me "so you need a phone to call someone with?"

"Ugh yeah. If that's okay? I mean if it's too much hassle then it's no problem but I've knocked on every other door and they didn't open.." The boy paused with a small pout upon his lips but it was no joke. He meant it. In fact, the boy was talking as fast as he could, trying to fit as many words in as he could. "I've already been down to the reception to ask if they could help me but they told me it might take a while."

"When was this?" I ask.

"About half an hour ago... Maybe longer I'm not sure" the boy looked me in the eye before switching to Chen and then back to me. His eyes looked glossy as though he was about to cry any minute.

"Oh." I glanced at my best friend to make sure he was thinking the same as me— he was nodding. "Well I suppose you can use our phone. You might as well come in" I laughed as I made room for the clumsy stranger to walk through as I closed the door behind him. Chen lead him in to the living room where they both took a seat while I fetched my phone from the bedroom.

"have you just move in?" I heard the boy say.

Chen chuckled and answered with a "Yeah pretty much"

I came back into the living room and sat next to Chen, who was directly opposite the boy, before Handing him my phone after unlocking it.

As soon as the boy had the phone he immediately started to type numbers into the dial then waiting for the person on the other line to pick up. Chen and I looked at each other when we saw his hand shaking as he raised the phone to his ear. Before the call even started the boys face looked flustered like he was embarrassed to be calling this person in front of us, but what other choice did he have? That's when I started to think maybe he wanted privacy, however it was too late—I heard the faint sound of someone saying 'hello?' On the other side.

The boy hesitated before answering. "H-hello"

"It's me" he said after a few seconds, his head lowering. "Xiumin."

"No no! Please don't go!" The so called 'xiumin' blurted out with his hands clutching the phone tightly. "J-just listen okay?"

I couldn't help but wonder what this boy, xiumin was going through to make him sound this vulnerable.
"I-I'm sorry. I'll change I promise... Just p-please don't leave me." Xiumin had lowered his voice aswell as his head, turning to one side as though he didn't like the audience staring at him. I didn't blame him; I began to feel awkward and guilty for just sitting here doing nothing but listening to xiumins conversation.

Chen leaned closer to me to whisper "I'm not sure I like the sound of this"

"Mmm me neither"I answered.

Xiumin had gone quiet for a while until he said "W-what?"

"But I—" was the last thing Xiumin said before what seemed like the end of the call. Whoever was on the other line they had cut the poor boy off.
"o-oh.." He whispered.

"Are you okay?" Chen asked, stepping into the situation.

Xiumins head snapped up as he flashed a small, yet sad, smile. "Yeah, I-i am. Sorry about that." He handed back my phone and I took it. "Thank you for lending me your phone though"

"It's okay"

"Well I s-should probably go. I have to try and get back into my apartment. " Xiumin stood up, both Chen and I too, and walked to the door. "I live next door if you need a-any help settling in"

"Thank you" we said as he opened our door and left with a shaky 'goodbye'.

"Well... That was..."Chen started

And I finished it. "Strange."

"Do you think that was his girlfriend?" I simply shrugged. "So where are you going?"

"What?"

"You've put eyeliner on. You must be trying to impress someone. So where are you going? Did you find someone when you were at the supermarket. Was it love at first sight?"

"Okay stop. I'm pretty sure it was the complete opposite of love at first sight"

"So you are going out?! You go girl!"

"Man"

"You go man!"

"And for your information I'm not trying to impress him either. It's a long story"

"Well I'm most certainly interested to here all of it"

I did end up telling Chen... after he whined for an hour... Once that had finished, it was about time Chanyeol was supposed to be picking me up. I changed my top to a more stylish one and chucked a jacket over my shoulders. I wasn't trying to dress up and impress him or anything...I was just one to always dress nice.

Looking in the mirror one last time my eyeliner was still in tact and didn't seem to be running or smudging or anything what so ever. That was a good sign so far.

After I grabbed all the things i needed (plus the pepper spray because God knows that this Chanyeol could do) I said goodbye to my roommate and left the apartment. I took my time walking down the hall to the elevator and even from the elevator out of the building.

I didn't even need to wait; chanyeol was already standing next to a shiny polished black car that looks as though it has never been used. Not to mention it looked expensive.

"Don't worry I haven't been waiting long" Chanyeol said moving my gaze from the car to him. Chanyeol had changed too but luckily it wasn't anything to posh and formal either. But to be truthfully honest.. He looked good. I would even go to the extent of saying he looked handsome.

But then again, I'm not into people like him.

"Have you finished staring? I don't mind if you want to take a picture. That way you—"

That sure did wake me up "oh shut up."

I pulled a face and walked around the other side of the car to the passenger seat while Chanyeol got into the drivers side. We both put on our seat belts and then Chanyeol started the engine and with that he drove away from the building.

'Will I regret this?..' I thought to my self.

The car journey was beginning to get awkward as neither of us were talking. I wanted music. In fact anything would be better than silence. I desperately wanted to reach over the the radio and turn it on. Or maybe he had cds?

I looked to the side of me and opened a flap to see nothing but a map and a bracelet.
'A bracelet? Is this a woman's bracelet? Did he steal it?'

Oh wait actually.. That wasn't the only thing in the compartment...

"What's this silver packet?" I said picking out this shiny silver square packet from the compartment and signalled chanyeols attention by flapping it.

He glanced over once and laughed before returning his eyes on the road. He took it off me and chucked it back in where I found it and closed the lid.
"I don't think you really want to know."

I furrowed my eyebrows in response. "Why not?"

Chanyeol laughed again and ended it with a devilish smirk. "Believe me, you don't. However if you really are curious I can always show you later on"

'Whatever that is, it sounds dirty.'

Instead of replying I looked in the glove compartment just above my legs. I could see chanyeols gaze on me whenever he gets the chance to look away from the road.
"Why do you keep going through my stuff?"

Ignoring him still, I carry on searching.

Still no music!!

Groaning, I shut the compartment and face the driver. "Do you not even have one cd in this car? Is this even your car?!"

"Of course it's my car, why wouldn't it be?"

"Because you have a ladies bracelet inside this" I tap the box like storage place in between the two seats. Chanyeol looked confused for a moment before making a 'o' with his mouth.

"Oh that bracelet." He chuckled. "That's a good story—"

"Nevermind I don't want to hear it" I roll my eyes and look out the window. I guess I'll just have to stick with silence.

It took around 30minutes before Chanyeol was slowing down and turning into a car park. The parking was in front of a two story building that beautifully lit with fairy lights. The huge glass windows gave me a sight of what was inside and boy did it look fancy.

"Woahh~" my mouth hung open as I got closer to the window. "This place looks expensive.."

Chanyeol didn't reply and exited the car so I followed his actions, shutting the car door behind me. Once he locked the vehicle, he led me inside to where we had to wait to be seated. I was too busy gazing at the perfectly decorated restaurant when a woman came up to the stand and asked what the name was under. I tuned in when Chanyeol said 'Park. Park Chanyeol. Dinner for two' and flashed his most charming smile.

He was a natural at this.

"Right this way" the woman said after gathering two menus. The lady led us right to other end of the building next to a window and above that was a small picture frame. In that was a painting of seoul at night. I smiled.
"Here's your table sir" the woman said while Chanyeol and I seated ourselves on the table for two. "And here is the menu. I will be back when you want to order" she left the menus in front of us and with that she walked away.

I gulped looking once at the menu full of many many many choices.

"Choose whatever you want, Baekhyun" Chanyeol leaned forward, his dyed red fiery hair falling in front of his eye. "This is your treat"

Atm I'm not actually sure what's going to happen after the dinner...
