Patton bounded into the living room where Virgil was sitting on the couch and going through Tumblr. Virgil looked up to Patton who was smiling. "Do you wanna hang out with some of my friends?" Patton asked.

"Uh, sure. How many people?"

"Only two," Patton replied. Virgil nodded, that wasn't too many people so he'd be fine. Patton invited his friends over and told Virgil that they'd be there at seven. Until the time came the two passed the time by just talking with each other.

There was a knock at the door and Patton jumped up and ran to the door to get it. Patton greeted the two men at the door with a smile and they walked into the house. "Logan, Roman, this is Virgil! My friend" Virgil avoid their eyes and gently waved.

"Greetings I am Roman! I'm the hottest person you'll ever meet," The egotistical man threw his hands into a sassy prince pose.

The other man adjusted his glasses, "He's also the dumbest person in the room." The prince like man and the nerd shared a glare.

Patton placed his hands on his hips, "Now what did I say about fighting?" The two guests groaned.

"Although I am right I won't try and get it through Roman's thick skull... right now." The intellectual turned away from Patton and towards Virgil, "Salutations, I am Logan."

Virgil didn't like to meet new people, it would always cause his anxiety to spike. He'd always overthink about what if he messed up, would they laugh at him? But these people were friends with Patton, the kindest person on the planet, so most likely they would also be nice. "Uh hey."

"So you're the man Patton talks about so much?" Roman asked.

Virgil turned to Patton, "Y-you talk about me?"

Logan nodded, "All good things, he told us how you were his best friend in highschool and how you are, and I quote, 'the softest little emo out there'."

"He also told us how you were an artist," Roman said, "I am too an artist but of the theatre kind."

"What plays have you done?" Virgil asked.

The four men continued to talk and got to know each other more. Closer to the end of the night Virgil got more comfortable around them. He usually didn't get comfortable around people that quick but they had a nice vibe just like Patton.

When they had left Virgil got curious, "So how did you meet those two?"

"I met Logan at work. He teaches highschool and while getting my teaching degree we had a few classes together," Patton explained, "As for Roman he was Logan's friend and he introduced me to him."

"Wow," Virgil said, "I would've never thought that those two would be friends without you to bring them together."

Patton nodded, "It seems like that at first but they actually love each other a lot. It's easier to see the more you see them together."

"They seem nice so I'm guessing I'll be seeing that first hand at some point."

"If it's okay with you that you see them," Patton told him.

"I don't mind, it's your house," Virgil replied.

"It's your house too now," Patton reminded him.
