Tw: mentions of weight gain, insecure about body, not wanting to eating

Logan and Roman were hanging over and they were all having a fun time. "We haven't cooked a meal together recently," Roman brought up, "We should do that again!" Virgil was instantly filled with anxiety. He was okay with eating in front of Patton but he didn't know Logan and Roman as well. He always was self-conscious when he ate but he trusted Patton enough to let him see him eat. He didn't know if he could eat in front of them but it wasn't like he could not eat. That would make him look weird and plus Patton would convince him to eat anyways. Patton agreed to Roman's idea with a smile.

They began to cook in the kitchen, which Virgil did like as he found cooking calming. Roman was the one that talked the most. "Virgil is so thicc now, your cooking is officially too good to resist," Roman said to Patton at one point. Virgil paused his movements, the words hit him deep. Roman hadn't meant any harm but Virgil was so insecure about his weight and he hated that Roman wold point out that he had gained weight. Logan noticed how Virgil stopped. He then realized how pale Virgil looked and how his hands shook.

"Are you alright?" Logan quietly asked incase Virgil didn't want anyone to know. Virgil nodded without saying anything and went back to what he was doing before the comment.

They were coming to the end of cooking and Virgil definitely knew now that he couldn't eat inn front of them. "I'll be back," Virgil said and without any further explanation he left the house.

Roman furrowed his eyebrows when he heard the front door close, "What was that about?"

Patton was frowning, "I don't know." His phone went off and he saw it was a text from Virgil.

"Did he text you?" Logan asked.

Patton nodded and put his phone back into his pocket, "Yeah he said to just eat without him."

Roman was curious, "Why did he have to go?"

Patton shrugged and pretended he didn't know, "He didn't say, just to have fun and that he'd be back."

Logan hummed, thinking about everything he had seen from Virgil tonight and the fact that Patton had just clearly lied, "Interesting, but if that's what he wants then I guess we should do that."

Patton texted Virgil when they had finished eating.

Logan noticed how Patton tried to secretly text someone and then Virgil walked in. "Sup," Virgil said as he entered the room.

"There you are! There's some left if you want," Roman offered.

"I already ate," Virgil lied.

Logan noticed how Virgil showed signs of lying but Roman accepted the answer. "So where did you go?" Roman asked.

"Just... out," Virgil answered, anxiety growing from being asked questions.

"How about we play a game," Patton suggested before anymore questions could be asked. Roman was happy to play a game and dropped the questions which Virgil was glad for. However Logan noticed Patton's and Virgil's body languages. Something is going on in this house.
