Patton woke up feeling better but his mood wasn't as great because he couldn't see his love. Virgil entered the room with a plate of food. "How are you feeling?" Virgil asked.

Patton sneezed before he was able to reply, "Better-ish."

Virgil sent him a smile and kissed the top of his head, "You'll get better faster if you eat." Patton took the food and thanked Virgil. Virgil sat beside him in bed and ran his fingers through his boyfriend's hair.

Patton smiled at him then realized Virgil wasn't eating, "Where's your food?"

"I accidentally left it downstairs, I'll get it when I go down again," Virgil said truthfully. Patton accepted the answer and continued eating the meal Virgil prepared. When Patton was done Virgil took the plate and set it off to the side. Virgil held Patton close, "I love you."

"I love you too," Patton said. He hid his face into Virgil's chest and smiled. He loved to hold Virgil but being cuddled by him was wonderful. Virgil scratched the top of Patton's head and Patton smiled more. "Can you say something?" Patton requested, "I really like your voice and it's nice to hear."

"What do you want me to say?" Virgil asked.

Patton shrugged, "I don't know, just anything. It could make no sense and I'd love it."

Virgil hummed as he thought about what to say. When he thought of it he grinned, "I love how kind you are to everyone. When I first met you I was convinced you couldn't be human because I didn't think anyone could be that kind, especially to me. But when you took my hand and sent me that smile of yours I knew that even if you weren't human I wanted you in my life. I love how accepting you are. If anyone comes out you immediately accept them and shower them with love. I remember when I came out to you as homoromantic you smiled at me," Virgil chuckled, "and told me 'So that's why you ace everything you do'. I was surprised that you accepted me, of course it made sense when you came out as panromantic. Honestly you were my favorite reaction from when I came out. It's silly and amazing, just like you. I love how optimistic you are. Whenever I'm down you're always there to cheer me up." Virgil continued to go through every personality trait that Patton had and told him why he loved it. Patton grinned throughout the entire thing and felt his heart swell with joy and love. "I love every little thing about you," VIrgil finished.

Patton had tears in his eyes because the love he felt was too strong, "Babe!" Patton placed kisses all over Virgil's face, "That was beautiful. I loved it, I love you." Virgil hugged Patton tighter and connected his lips with Patton's. Patton grinned, "You're so perfect."

Virgil smiled back, "It's easy to be perfect when you're dating a literal angel." Patton kissed Virgil again and again. When Patton was satisfied with the amount of times he'd kissed Virgil he hugged the man tighter and hid his face in his neck. Virgil hugged him back just as tight.

"How did I ever manage to find someone as great as you?" Patton asked.

"Good people attract good things," Virgil answered.
