Patton woke up slightly. He looked at the clock and saw it was six am. He shut his eyes again before he realized something. If he could open his eyes and see the alarm clock that meant Virgil wasn't in bed. Patton then noticed how he was holding blankets instead of his love. At first Patton thought that maybe Virgil went up to get some water but he wasn't hearing the water running. Patton slipped out of bed and grabbed his phone to use as a flashlight. Patton walked downstairs and saw no one. He searched the whole house, each second growing more and more concerned. He decided to text Virgil. He sent off the message and a second later there was a buzz and a light from the counter. Patton walked over.
