36~ Honesty ~36

Patton and Virgil woke up cuddling in the bed in Heaven. Patton smiled at Virgil and pecked his lips. Immediately they felt the pull that at this point it was easy to assume that it was them being pulled to Deceit's room. They sat up in the bed and stretched. They got of bed and Patton placed on the glasses from the bedside table before they started to head to Deceit.

As they walked out of their room holding hands they immediately gained the attention of some of the gods. One ran away and the others followed them. Virgil felt anxious with the gods following them and now he wished he had fallen asleep with his jacket on as it was a major comfort item for him. They entered the corrupted prince's room where he still lay, looking the same as before.

The god that had ran away before returned with Thomas, Remy, Tayln, and Joan trailing behind him. The gods watched intently as Patton and Virgil walked up to Deceit. They each took a hand of the son of Thomas and their hands began to glow.

This time the light was much brighter than it had ever been before. The light grew and engulfed the entire room, blinding everyone. The light receded and everyone opened their eyes again. Deceit's wings were white once more and he no longer wore the black and yellow outfit he had previously. Now he wore a white button up that had a sun flower print all over it and white jeans with sunflowers sewn into the material. His previously brown hair was now a dirty blonde.

A second passed and Deceit groaned and sat up. He blinked away the black spots that clouded his vision and held his palm against his forehead as if it would help with his headache.

"What happened?" Deceit mumbled out. He then looked up at the crowd and his eyes widened when his eyes locked with one of them. "Dad!" Deceit exclaimed. He shot out of bed and pushed past the group of people into the back where he threw his arms around the God of Humanity. Thomas hugged him back tightly. "I'm so sorry Dad!" Deceit apologized. "I missed you so much. I didn't mean to go so far." Deceit pulled back slightly to wipe away his tears that began to fall. "Can you ever forgive me?" Deceit asked his father.

"Of course I forgive you!" Thomas immediately replied, "You're my son, I'll always love and forgive you, Deceit."

"Honesty," Thomas's son corrected. "It's Honesty. I have always and will always be Honesty, your son."

Thomas smiled wide at his son and the two hugged each other again, so tight it was like they were afraid that if they separated now they'd loose each other again.

"You're my perfect son, never forget that," Thomas whispered to Honesty as tears dripped down from his eyes.

Talyn gained Patton's and Virgil's attention by lightly tapping on Virgil's shoulder. "Let's give them some time alone together," they told the two. They followed behind all the gods as they walked out the door, closing it behind them.

"Before you go," Talyn said and reached into their pocket. "There's another angel on earth in your area. He's a therapist and I think he could help you out more. Tell him that the Ex-Deity of Animals sent you. He'll know that you're talking about me and will reduce the price." Talyn handed Virgil a business card with the therapist's phone number and the address of his office.

"Emile Picani," Virgil read aloud. He looked up and sent Tayln a small smile. "Thanks." Tayln nodded their head and smiled back before walking away to rejoin Joan.
