Natsu's  (POV)

After we caught our breaths I went to kiss my girl but something caught my eye...

'Is that...'

Back to the present:

"......... Blood!" I shrieked.

"What?" Lucy asked in horror.

I showed her my hand and her eyes widened. "Natsu are you okay?" She asked grabbing my hand and looking at it.

"Luce it's not mine... Your neck." I pointed at her neck.

She wiped her neck then looked at her fingers. Sure enough there was blood on her fingertips.

"OH MY GOD!" She ran to the bathroom and then I heard the sink. I slipped my boxers on and ran after her.

She was dabbing her neck with a wet washcloth. "Did you have to bite me Natsu?" She asked angrily.

"I did that?" I asked back.

"No shit..." She retorted.

"Luce I'm so sorry." Tears began to well up in my eyes.

'Don't you... Dare. Natsu don't be a little bitch... It's fine... Lucy is fine.

"Natsu are... Oh my god don't cry... Natsu don't cry... It's fine it doesn't even hurt... please don't cry." Lucy stammered.

"But I hurt you..." I whimpered.

"I already told you it doesn't hurt... Come here..." Lucy tried to hug me but I only pushed her away.

"No! Get away! I'll only hurt you." I ran away from her into the bedroom. I grabbed my pants then ran out of the room. I struggled as I put my pants on and ran at the same time. Five minutes later I was almost half a mile away from the Inn and that's when I let all my anger out.

I felt a weird and painful sensation take over me I tried to comfort myself by screaming at the top of my lungs but it didn't work.

"NATSUUUUU...." I heard in the distance.

I couldn't bring myself to even look the direction the screams were coming from.

"NATS..." She screamed...

'Somethings wrong.'

"LUCY!!!"

I ran as fast as I could back to the Inn I saw a bright light appeared and a man yelling.

"I'm coming Luce!"

When I got to the Inn I fell to my knees. I saw Lucy's whip on the ground next to a towel and what looked to be one of her slippers. I sniffed the air but there was no trace of Lucy's scent or anyone else's.

"Lucy... This is my fault... I couldn't protect you... I didn't deserve your love." I sobbed hugging her whip to my chest.

"Young man, what are you doing?" And elderly voice asked.

I turned to see the owner and she frowned. "I see come on in... She wouldn't want you to get sick or taken too."

I stood up grabbing the towel and her slipper. I walked inside and the old lady pointed to a chair.

"I'm sure that wife of yours is fine... She's one tough cookie." She said as I sat down.

"You think so?"

"Yes I do... And you... You should have faith in her. You'll see she'll return."

Still Natsu's  (POV)

I waited for her...

It's been a year and nine months... Still nothing.

The old lady died a few months ago. I returned to Fairytail to see if they heard anything but still nothing... Makarov did the same as the old lady telling me that she's fine.

She's not... I  know already... And it's all my fault.

I rejoined Fairytail. When Gramps asked if I wanted the same Guild mark I said to him 'I'll still have it on my shoulder but I want it pink like Lucy's was.'

I sat here at the bar drinking my sorrows away... But no amount of alcohol could take away the pain. The pain caused by my own idiocy.

'I shouldn't have left her... Alone.'

I wanted to finish the mission but there was no need an outside force came out of nowhere and wiped The Thirteenth Eye off the face of Earthland.

I failed the mission... But most importantly I failed her...

I heard the Guild doors creak open but I could care less.

"Another." I said to Mira but she stood still.

I looked at her eyes and they were frozen. I could hear the faint clicking of women shoes against the hardwood floor.

"Wow babe... You reek... I leave you for a mere moment and you become Cana two point O." I hear that familiar angelic voice.

I turned and looked into those big chocolaty eyes.

"Luce?" I was confused. I stood up but the alcohol was affecting me. I reached out to her to see if what I saw was real.

She rolled her eyes and reached out as well lacing her fingers with mine.

"It's me." She smiled.

"Lucy!" I rushed her and hugged her as tight as I possibly could.

"Natsu... Can't... Breathe." She said tapping my lower back.

"Oi flame brain she's alive let her breathe you don't want to kill her do you!" Gray shouted.

I let her go and tears filled my eyes. "Luce I'm so sorry... I'm..."

"Natsu about my disa..."

"It's all my fault!" I interrupted.

"No its not... I chose to leave you." She said patting my shoulder.

"What?" I asked pushing her away.

"Oh boy, okay Natsu let's... Let's go home and I'll explain everything." She helped me walk and we headed for her apartment. We made it through the door and she set me down on the couch.

"OK, we're home... Explain." I said.

She sighed then took a deep breath.

"Where do I start..." She contemplated.

"How about the part where you decided it to be a great idea to pull a disapearing act on me." I snapped.

"Well... I didn't exactly do that intentionally... just let me explain."

[Lucy explains to Natsu what happened to her everything will be in Lucy's point of veiw in present tense not past tense.]

Lucy's  (POV)

Natsu ran out of the room. I grabbed the closest thing near me, a towel, I wrapped it around me and ran after him. When I reached out side I screamed for Natsu but nothing... I screamed another time but then a man covered my mouth I tried to kick him away but he was just too strong.

A puff of smoke appeared and it was my Celestial Spirit Virgo.

"Need help, princess?" She said bowing down.

"Yeah take me to the spirit world and bring this jerk along with us."

"As you wish... Also I'm assuming your keys and a new outfit? Oh and a new whip. I've got this spare for you to give him a special punishment." She said snapping a whip in her hand.

"Virgo hurry please!" I must have scared her because she jumped and dropped the whip.

"Of course mistress." She pulled us through the gate and I found myself in a new outfit.

"Ooh this is so cute... I like... Oh right I should take care of this."

"Princess your keys and whip." Virgo handed them to me then bowed.

"Alright you peice of trash who sent you?" I asked.

"A little Guild by the name of the Thirteenth Eye..." He teased.

"Oh... I wanted to hear that name."

Fifteen minutes later the man was out cold and I got all the information I wanted out of him. I told Virgo to take him to a jail on Earthland while I rested. I still didn't regain all my strength from mine and Natsu's little adventure in the bedroom.

"Shall I return you home princess it's been a month in the real world." Virgo asked.

"Oh no I forgot about the major time difference... Wait... Time difference... Virgo that's it!"

"What mistress?" She asked confused.

"I can use the time difference as an advantage... I can put an end to the thirteenth eye..."

"But what about Natsu... Princess he's heartbroken." She frowned.

"He's strong... He'll understand."

"Princess being in the spirit world will affect you too... You know that." She said worryingly.

"They must be stopped... This time I know I can do this."

[Back to the present.]

"And that's really all there is to it."

Natsu looked at me as if I were an alien. "Lucy that doesn't explain why you were gone for almost two years." He stated with a deadpanned look.

"You know how the Thirteenth Eye basically disapeared... That was me. I jumped back and forth from the spirit world to the human world and defeated them."

"ALL BY YOURSELF!" He shouted in shock.

I nodded and he slammed his fist down onto the coffee table.

"DAMMIT LUCY, WHAT IF YOU GOT HURT!" He sighed. "I understand that you wanted to get rid of the Thirteenth Eye but still Lucy... If you..."

"Hey don't you dare. Don't you dare blame yourself this was my decision I'm the one who decided to stay in the spirit world for a week. I lost almost two years of my life because of it." I interrupted.

"But your my wife... My responsibility. And I just left you... If I didn't run away like a little bitch I wouldn't have lost two years of being with you... I wouldn't have felt this pain... This unbearable pain." He started to sob.

"Natsu don't cry... If you run out on me again I won't forgive you." I cried.

"Your one to talk." He chuckled. "Lucy... How did this happen? That night we were so happy..."

"I don't know... But Natsu I promise you that I'll do whatever it takes... To make you forget it all."

"Marry me." He said.

Natsu's  (POV)

"What?" She asked confused.

"Marry me again. But this time in front of our friends." I said back.

"Natsu... Of course." She pulled my face to her but then she pulled away. " Nope I'm not kissing that... Go brush your teeth and take a shower." She gagged.

"Yeah." I stood up and headed for the shower.

"I'll be there in a minute I just need to talk to the land lady." She said leaving the apartment.

I filled the bath with hot water and got in. A few minutes later I hear the door creak open and see Luce. Her hair was put up in a messy bun and she was wrapped in a towel. She let go of the towel and I took in her familiar figure. She joined me in the tub.

I pulled her toward me and hugged her.

"I missed you so much."

"Me too... I'm just sorry that you waited so long and I only missed seven days." She frowned.

"Your here now and that's all that matters." I nuzzled my face into the nape of her neck.

"Natsu..."

"Mmm."

"It's poking me."
