Chapter 8

Natsuki had once more stayed over at Yuri's for the night, she refused to leave after discovering Yuri's cutting and really who could blame her? She talked with Yuri a lot about her family, what her parents were like before they had simply disappeared from her life entirely. From the sounds of things, Natsuki could tell that her friend was trying hard to make them out to be better than they really were, which Yuri certainly isn't above doing to keep things calm between them.

For her sake, Natsuki didn't escalate the topic to the point of an argument, Yuri had been through enough as it was and she didn't need anymore stress on her right now. Instead she went out of her way to talk about anything else that wasn't related to Yuri's deadbeat parents, even putting on cartoons and asking Yuri about any books she's read recently that easily distracted her.

It was nice hearing her rant, but Natsuki just couldn't shake her lingering anger, she hated Yuri's parents despite not knowing them and wanted to get revenge on them in some way. However, for now that's just a later worry for her, Yuri was all that mattered to Natsuki right now, she's the one who needs her attention the most. It was clear that was the case when Yuri asked for Natsuki to stay in her room for the night which she had to restrain herself from saying an immediate yes to...

However, as much as she wanted to sleep in the same bed as Yuri, Natsuki couldn't fall asleep. She was tired but just... couldn't. Holding Yuri from behind as she slept almost soundly save for a few soft slow breathes escaping from her lips made it impossible for her. She's never been so close to Yuri before like this, spooning the much taller girl from behind, she normally wouldn't do this but it just seemed right to do. The pinkette sighing as she nuzzled Yuri's back, reaching down and taking her arms into her hands, starting to rub and carefully caress her abused wrists.

She smelled nice as well, a faint lilac and lavender lingering from her, it was the same scent as that shampoo Natsuki used when she stayed over previously. It suited the bookworm so well, she was the only thing that Natsuki could think of now, every thought she had all included Yuri. Now she's here in the same bed as her, cuddling Yuri from behind to make her feel safe and comfortable all the while touching her arms in an almost loving manor.

She felt wrong... they're just friends and Yuri doesn't need anything else but someone to pay attention to her for now, but still she could feel the urge for more. She wanted a lot more from her past rival, to hear her voice more or feel her embrace like she had days ago, to taste whatever Yuri cooked and enjoy an evening together. It was all such a melancholic idea, almost impossible to ever come true as well or at least that's what Natsuki let herself believe.

"I want that..." Natsuki mutters, leaning her forehead against Yuri's back and listening to her breathing and heart beat, "I-I want it... her so badly..."

Natsuki almost feels like she's about to start crying, she's so tired of the pain, the fear. This is the first time she's ever really helped anyone before and she feels great because of it, yet her want for the same treatment in return is something that she can't help.

"Mmf..." Yuri moans quietly, moving suddenly as she shifts in her sleep, "Natsuki?" she calls making the pinkette quickly wipe any sadness away.

Yuri reaches up to her eyes, rubbing them as Natsuki lets her arms go despite not wanting to yet, "Um, s-sorry, did I wake you up?" she asks, realizing she was getting a bit more touchy than she should have.

Yuri turns around, still half asleep and looking down at Natsuki, trying to see her through the thick darkness of the room, "Yes, but it's fine," she assures, smiling at her, "Have you been awake long?" she asks, more concerned for Natsuki than anything.

She doesn't fight and just sighs, nodding as she lays on her arm, "Yeah... I don't know why, I just can't fall asleep. I saw you and thought maybe if I held you I could but..." she stops and blushes, realizing how little sense that makes, "God sorry that just sounds stupid, I-I'm tired as fuck so I'm a bit loopy-"

Yuri laughs softly, reaching down and moving some hair out from Natsuki's face and behind her ear, "No, no, it's okay don't apologize. I think it's rather sweet of you, Natsuki," she assures, the pinkette about to argue back that it's not before Yuri suddenly cups her cheek, her soft fingertips brushing down her face, "However, it may help more if I were to return the gesture?" Yuri slips her arms around Natsuki carefully, remembering her bruises and how bad they are, wanting to avoid hurting her.

Natsuki gasps, Yuri's arms pulling her close, chills running up the pinkette's spine as she's held practically face first into Yuri's breasts. She gulps and moves herself up so she's instead resting in the crook of her neck which fit almost perfectly around Natsuki's head. She's warm and the way Yuri's resting her arms against Natsuki's back feels... relaxing. It's a feeling she never thought she'd experience, the warmth, the tenderness of her hold, she's safe and strangely at peace all of a sudden, it's blissful.

"You... Yuri don't you think this is a bit... much?" she asks, not sure if she's letting her take things too far, "Cuddling each other when we're just barely getting along?"

Yuri's thankfully too tired to express her embarrassment, looking down at the smaller girl and sighing, "N-No, I-I think this is okay, unless you don't that is? If you think I'm going too far-"

Natsuki feels goosebumps riddle her body before she quickly hugs Yuri back, frantic, "No!" she exclaims louder than she meant to, startling Yuri a little, "N-No I... this is fine, actually. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable is all... idiot..." she lies, Yuri easily seeing through her but simply smiling.

"Hm... I don't, Natsuki. I feel wonderful in fact," she says, holding behind Natsuki's head and humming contently, "I'm glad to hear you're okay too, Natsuki." the pinkette shutters at such a sentence, Yuri closing her eyes again to go back to sleep with Natsuki cuddled close in her arms.

She's glad Natsuki's okay, those words are so powerful to her that she feels her entire body go limp almost immediately. The stress and fatigue of the day hitting Natsuki all at once, and it's just because Yuri is cuddling her back. She's not sure exactly what is happening between her and Yuri anymore, but she's tired now and all that she can focus on instead is sleep.

Natsuki finally closing her eyes slowly and leaning her head into Yuri's neck more, the warmth of the taller woman and feeling of her long slender fingers holding the back of her head becoming so inviting to her that she finally can sleep...

...

Monika sighs as she walks down stairs of her house, humming to herself as Sayori bounds towards her excitedly from the kitchen. Everything from the night before is a bit of a blur, Monika and Sayori went through so many different stores and shopped for quite awhile before they went to a café together so most of it was them having some casual idle chit chat. Although Sayori definitely was lighting up the entire time since it doesn't seem like she's able to get out very much thanks to how her parents have said she's far too hyper to handle on their own.

"Monika! You never told me you live in such a nice place, I didn't realize how it really looked till the sun came up!" she exclaims, looking around the class president's house much more intrigued now that she could see it better.

She chuckles and nods, "Yeah, my mom has a pretty good job so she and I are really well off. Not rich by any means but still we live pretty comfortably," Monika says, going over to the fridge and grabbing some ice and a few berries to make herself some breakfast.

"What's she do?" Sayori asks, snatching a berry or two from the bowl of them Monika had brought out.

"Pharmacist, it's a good job but she's often out late at night, sometimes jus doesn't come back till the next day-" she stops when the front door to Monika's house unlocks and opens, both girls looking as an older woman walks through it looking exhausted, "Oh, speak of the devil."

Monika smiles and puts the ice and berries down, walking over and locking the door behind her mother who sighs, rubbing her eyes. She has a big satchel bag at her side with her belongings, her hair is the same coral brown as Monika's while being shorter and generally messier too. Dressed with a usual white overcoat that goes nearly to her knees and glasses with black frames.

"Rough night, mom?" she asks, the older woman nodding at her but still giving her a tired smile none the less, holding Monika's arm.

"Mhm, nothing too busy but I don't want to ever read another prescription ever again," she jokes, looking over to Sayori who's looking on curious, "Oh, hi there, who are you hun?" she asks with a warm tone.

Sayori seems surprisingly nervous, rubbing the back of her head but answering quickly, "S-Sayori ma'am, I'm Monika's friend and vice president to her club!"

"Aaaah, so this is the girl you told me about, it's nice to meet you Sayori. I'd love to chat more but I'm too tired right now," she says, dismissing herself as politely as possible to instead retire to her room and its inviting bed.

"That's alright mom, me and Sayo should be going right now anyways," Monika insists as she goes to take her mothers things, coat and all.

Monika says goodbye to her as she goes off for a much needed rest, Sayori just watching not sure what to do and instead deciding to continue making Monika's breakfast. Getting a blender out from the cabinets and starting to put everything together but not blending it just yet in case Monika was still adding things.

"So uh..." Monika puts the coat and bags down as Sayori laughs uncomfortably, "You talk about me with your mom?" she asks a little surprised at that.

"Hm? Well yeah, every now and then she asks about how the clubs going. I usually talk to her about things like the fights Natsuki and Yuri get into," Monika giggles suddenly and looks at Sayori fondly, "Or that time you stopped those two fighting about how Yuri's chest was larger suddenly the next day," she mentions which makes Sayori laugh with her.

Monika continues to make her breakfast, blending it up with other fruit and some milk as well, "You told her that?! Why?!" she says through laughs.

Monika shrugs, "I don't know, I thought it was funny! Out of everything Natsuki could have called Yuri out on why... that?!" she asks, pouring some of the smoothie she made into two flasks Sayori had went to grab for them both.

However, as Sayori is about to take the fruity beverage from her club president, she instead grabs her hand and moves close to Monika looking determined suddenly.

"Monika... listen, this is super duper important and I need your undivided attention..." she says, Monika almost taking her serious but figuring Sayori's just building up to some sort of goofy response, "I have come to the conclusion that those two... are together!" she exclaims, her eyes lighting up at this sudden epiphany of hers.

Monika just rolls her eyes and puts the smoothie up to the peach haired girls lips, "Sayori they're just friends, they've only been getting along for like a week now," she says, brushing it off.

"It's true! You've seen them, and they were blushing at each other, acting all cute sitting together and everything! It's the find of a century!" Sayori insists, clearly passionate about the subject.

"That's a little dramatic don't you think, Sayori?" she says, sipping some of her breakfast, enjoying the exaggerated tone from her friend none the less, "Sure they look like they're getting a bit touchy now and much closer, but I don't think that they have feelings for each other, Sayori."

Sayori's eyes slant and she hums unconvinced, shaking her glass to swirl the smoothie within it, "Hmmmm... 20 bucks says they get together..."

Monika sighs at Sayori, she actually finds this hilarious but is trying to keep this professional, "If I say yes will you drop the subject?"

Sayori pouts at her, "Nope! I'm telling you Monika they're gonna end up together, they're so obviously into each other it's almost painful!" she whines, seeming genuinely frustrated.

Monika just rolls her eyes again and pats Sayori on the head, flinching a bit each time but deciding she needs the comfort, "Aw, cheer up there Sayo, I'm sure they'll realize it soon enough. But if it makes you feel any better you definitely have a point, they're clearly into each other to an extent," she mutters, Sayori gulping down her smoothie as Monika talks, "It might not hurt to at least maybe keep an eye on them more just to make sure we don't miss anything major that happens between them."

Sayori nearly chokes at this as she stops drinking immediately, "W-Wait seriously?! But you just said they weren't into each other like five seconds ago!" she says surprised at Monika's change of heart.

She chuckles softly and leans back into the sofa, "Yeah well, I was just trying to stay out of their personal lives but... you make a lot of good points, Sayori. I think it be nice to see them both more... involved together and agreeing more than they do now."

Sayori is ecstatic at this, grabbing Monika's hands and holding them as she leans closer to her, "Oh my god! So you're going to try and get them together?!"

"What, no!" Monika leans back and tries to take her hands away, uncomfortable with how nice Sayori's touch is, "I-I just meant I'll make sure to see how things go with them both, if they do end up getting together and all that. I'm not playing matchmaker here you little weirdo," she jokes which only makes Sayori pout but accept regardless.

"Fiiiiiine, but I think that they could use a little help still," Sayori whines, Monika finishing her smoothie up first and deciding they should get going now before they end up having a long argument about meddling in Natsuki and Yuri's lives.

"Just give them time Sayori, besides... I think there's something more going on that Yuri's trying to focus on that's making things hard for them," Monika looks down at her chest, sighing and wondering just how badly the bruises are that Yuri had described for her to be so scared for the pinkette.

"Uh... what's that supposed to mean? Is something going on with her?" Sayori asks, turning on the couch as Monika walks behind it to put both their cups in the sink.

"Well, I'm not too sure, c'mon, how about we get ready for school first and I'll tell you on the way alright? I think you might be due for an explanation and it's a bit of a long one I'm afraid," she says, the mood between them starting to become tenser, more serious now that Sayori realizes Monika knows something is happening between the two highschoolers.

Both girls grab their bags and start to walk out the door, Sayori's cheerful mood somehow not leaving despite there being something up that she's been kept in the dark about. Taking Monika's hand again and rushing past her, practically yanking the club president out of the house and closing the door for her, excited to hear whatever Monika had to tell the club's vice president...

...

"So... Natsuki is what? Being abused..?" Sayori asks as they start to pass through the back gate after gym class.

The two walk towards the girls locker room, wanting to change first before heading to club times, "Well I wouldn't say that yet. Yuri's seen more than I have and she definitely knows Natsuki more than any of us by now," Monika explains, knowing Sayori is feeling just as helpless with this all as Yuri must be.

"What did Natsuki tell you then? You said you were going to talk to her right?!" Sayori asks quickly, Monika sighing as she starts to strip off her gym clothes in front of her.

"Um... nothing yet," she admits, having forgot to even ask Natsuki about it after finding out about Sayori's depression, "I know I'm president of the club, but I'm just not sure how to bring this up to someone. Besides, from how Yuri described things, Natsuki seems rather... hot headed about revealing her home life."

Monika and Sayori both quickly stop talking when a few other girls step in from behind them, starting to change as well. The two girls quickly getting dressed in the school uniform and starting to walk out from the changing rooms towards the club, wanting to continue talking.

"But Yuri told me the other day during math all about Natsuki! How her dad is a cop, her favorite food is omurice now, oh and she mentioned how she's apparently similar to her mom? Not sure what that means but Yuri seemed to know a lot about Natsuki's home life," Sayori explains, both presidents walking into the club that is completely empty still since technically school hasn't ended just yet.

"Really..? So she has told Yuri a lot more then..." Monika mutters, sitting on top of a desk and starting to think to herself while Sayori waits patiently for her to come up with a conclusion.

"Well why not ask Yuri to talk to Natsuki for you then?" Sayori suggests, "Natsuki seems more comfortable with Yuri anyways! And just..." Sayori pauses, looking down and holding her skirt's helm as she gets anxious, "I just... if she is being abused or something, I don't think she'd want anyone to know... Reaching out for help is really super hard!" Sayori says passionately, getting close to Monika who leans back, tinting pink when Sayori puts a hand on her knee.

"W-Well... but this is Yuri we're talking about Sayori! She doesn't seem like she can handle it, she was so freaked out over just telling me about Natsuki," Sayori shakes her head and gets even closer, grabbing the desks edges and leaning so her face is only a few inches away from Monika.

"Monika, that's the thing! Yuri clearly cares the most for Natsuki if she thinks you could handle it best! Most would try and deal with it on their own but she thought your help would be better than hers! She wanted to give Natsuki the best help possible!" Sayori says, insisting this would be best if Yuri just talked to Natsuki already.

Monika needed to think, Sayori was right to an extent, out of any of them here Natsuki wasn't really close to people. She certainly enjoyed their company, but all of them hardly knew anything about Natsuki except for Yuri who in just less than a week suddenly seemed to know all there was to about the pinkette other than more of her private home life. What do they do about this though? Can Monika really just tell Yuri to handle everything on her own because she would be more capable?

Before Monika can say anything however, the club's door slides open and cheerful voices break through as Yuri, Natsuki, and MC all walk in.

"You cannot say anything about my height dammit! You're a guy so naturally you would be taller..." Natsuki growls, MC and Yuri laughing softly as they close the door.

"But... Natsuki, I'm quite tall as well," she points out, Natsuki pouting and crossing her arms looking away, "It's not that bad is it? Besides, I think your height is rather cute," Yuri says, smiling with her eyes closed as she touches Natsuki's shoulder.

She grumbles and pulls away, "I... am... not... cute..." she growls.

Yuri sighs and hovers close to Natsuki who, while trying to keep up her act, is finding it difficult to deny she doesn't appreciate the compliment from the much taller woman she's been spending so much time with.

"Dang, usually I get punched if I say that to her," MC comments, Natsuki reading around and getting close to him, poking his chest.

"Yeah? And I'll punch you again right now too if you add on to that sentence!" she warns, all of them finding Natsuki's flusterment highly entertaining.

Yuri again touches Natsuki's shoulder to try and calm her down, smiling awkwardly as she backs away and deciding it's not worth acting like this in front of Yuri.

"Alright enough, c'mon you guys this is a literature club not a fighting club," Monika says, getting off the desk with Sayori, going over to break up the growing conflict.

They all separate and finally close the doors to begin their club time, Yuri leaving Natsuki and placing her bag down to search for her poem of the day. Everyone else does the same, MC walking up to Monika first with his poem in hand ready to share it. The two exchange poems with one another, it's obvious to Monika that once more, MC has written this inspired from an anime without question.

"This is rather odd but I actually like this a lot," MC says, "It's different from what you usually write, darker. "Forced to commit a gruesome slaughter, scratching through innocent eyes I searched". It sounds a lot like something Yuri would write honestly," he says, taken aback by the sudden change of Monika's writing style.

Monika sighs and nods, rubbing her arm, "Yeah... Sorry, I know it's a little weird but I think finding out about Sayori's hidden trauma really got to me. Guess I needed to just get some of my guilt out onto paper y'know?" she says, being honest about this as she's still feeling guilty about what she did so many resets ago.

"Are you okay?" MC asks, concerned for the club president who shakes her head and smiles warmly enough to assure her friend.

"No no I'm fine really, Sayori and I had a good talk earlier yesterday anyways so I'm feeling a lot better about everything that's been happening with her. She's more open already even after just a couple of days, I don't want to say everything's going to get better instantly but I think they're already starting to lighten up for her," Monika says, MC happy to hear such an enlightened tone from his club president.

The two exchange poems back, ending their conversation and going to find someone else to continue their poem time with. Monika immediately goes to Yuri the moment she sees that she's alone. Slipping past MC and meeting her there before she has a chance to share her poem with Natsuki which was almost certainly what she was just about to do.

"Hey, Yuri," Monika says, startling the girl who had stopped for a few seconds to read her poem over for any last minute edits, "Mind if I talk to you?"

Yuri looks up, flustered and off guard, "Oh, um, yes of course M-Monika, did you want to share poems?"

She shakes her head, "No, I actually wanted to talk to you about Natsuki?" Monika whispers, not wanting to catch other people's attention.

"Natsuki? D-Did you talk to her about... the bruises?" Yuri looks away meekly, feeling guilty for invading so much of Natsuki's privacy.

"No, but it's because I wanted to have a good way of approaching this but... well... Yuri, I think you should be the one to confront her about this."

Yuri sighs, she's not all that shocked if she's being honest, she knew it wasn't right to ask Monika for such an uncomfortable task but she seemed like the best person to handle it.

"M-Monika I... I can't..." she mutters, fidgeting with her hair once more, "I shouldn't have even looked in the first place! Natsuki she... she's sweet, she's so sweet and kind a-and caring even if she doesn't always show it, but she's stubborn too. If I confronted her about it-"

Monika reaches forwards and touches Yuri's arm gently startling her out of this rant, "She'll listen to you. Yuri, her being stubborn is why you're the one who has to talk to her about this!" Monika's deep green eyes pierce through Yuri who looks scared, not wanting to lose Natsuki or make her upset at her, "You can deny it all you want Yuri but you and her have grown a lot closer lately. You know her better than anyone else here, she won't let anyone else help except you, and you know it."

Yuri tries to speak but just can't find the words, all that Monika's saying is true but can she really go through with confronting Natsuki so soon? Although the alternative to this is Natsuki continues to be abused if that's the case behind her injuries and mistreatment.

"I..." Yuri pauses and tries to steady herself first, "I just don't want her to hate me again, Monika... B-But you're right! I can't stand to see her hurt anymore, starving..." Yuri's hand slides down her stomach, holding it as she recalls the terrible image of Natsuki's starved body.

"Exactly, besides she'll be grateful to you later in the long run even if she does get upset with you during it," Monika assures though this doesn't help Yuri feel anymore confident with herself than she currently is.

The two decide to just spend their time planning out what they're going to do, Monika trying to be as soft spoken and motivating as possible to keep Yuri from dropping the plan entirely. Agreeing that they should get Natsuki somewhere so that she can't just run off during the intervention to ensure she at least hears Yuri out.

Eventually, they agree on the rooftop as there's only a single entrance to it, both girls nodding and soon after being interrupted by both Sayori and of course Natsuki. The probably need one more person to share poems with before the club ends or they have to move on to something else for the day, Natsuki of course pulling Yuri aside to share with her first.

"So? Did you write something today or did you forget like before?" Natsuki asks, Yuri nodding and giving her the poem which she surprisingly doesn't snatch from her this time.

"Um, so Natsuki," Yuri speaks up, stopping the pinkette from reading her work just yet, "I-I was wondering, could you and I talk later after club time? I have something important to tell you and I-I would like some privacy from the others," Yuri mutters, looking away and playing with her hair again nervously at her response.

"Well sure but what about? Is it, y'know, about this," Natsuki points to her own wrists, still very concerned over Yuri's self harming problem.

She shakes her head, "N-Not exactly, no, but it does have something to do with someone's well being, i-if that makes sense. I'm just... worried for someone a-and I trust you for advice so..." Yuri flinches at herself, feeling like she's lying to the pinkette when she's just trying to protect her.

Natsuki acts like she's debating but she's already made up her mind, "Fine, I'll hear you out, but only because you clearly need my help!" she jokes, Yuri just happy to hear this rather than amused.

Just as Yuri is about to say her thanks however, they hear the sound of the intercom's speaker coming online, a man clearing his throat over the school's radio system.

"Would Muramoto Natsuki please come to my office if she is still on school grounds? I have a message from her father that is of the utmost importance she hear," the headmaster's voice echoes through the halls before going silent.

'Seriously? But clubs aren't even over!' Natsuki thinks, knowing however that if it's from her dad she really can't just ignore it.

"Ugh, god I can't catch a damn break can I," Natsuki says, crossing her arms with Yuri's poem in her hands still, "Sorry Yuri but I'm gonna go really quick. If I'm not back before clubs end though, where should I meet you?" Natsuki asks, knowing that this may be a long visit or that she might not be coming back here today at all.

"Ah, um, w-would the rooftop be okay? I know few people go up there after hours and it's a quiet place to talk," Yuri suggests, Natsuki just nodding and starting to pack up in a rush.

"Yeah alright fine," Natsuki blurts out, shoving Yuri's poem into her bag, both girls forgetting they never even read the others or gave them back, "I'll see you there later, just... promise you won't do anything till I get there?" Natsuki asks, worried mostly that Yuri might start having urges to harm herself without her there to help.

Yuri nods, staying silent as she watches Natsuki leave in a hurry, wanting to go with her or at the very least ask her to wait just a little bit longer. Losing that chance when the pinkette closes the sliding club door behind her, Yuri just staring at the doorway then back to her wrists. Softly touching underneath her sleeves and rubbing her bandages, imagining her hands as Natsuki's grazing over her again while thinking about what to say once she confronts the pinkette later on the roof...

...

Natsuki walked quietly down the street, she had passed Yuri's house quite awhile ago much again to her dismay. Actually she was already feeling guilty since she had to leave the school before she could meet Yuri up on the roof. How could she stay after talking with the principal who told her three simple words from her father, "Get home now". It didn't matter what Yuri had to tell her, who needed Natsuki's help, because if she didn't do as her father said, she couldn't be certain she would be coming to school next week.

She walked up the path of her house as she usually does, reaching for the door which isn't just unlocked but also already slightly open? Natsuki is confused but walks inside anyways, looking around to find that it's completely dark, no lights are on and not even the TV is playing either. She steps inside anyways regardless, knowing better than to turn around and leave after her father called the school how he did. She's about to start going upstairs only for something to suddenly slam right into the side of her head!

She doesn't fall to the ground when someone grabs her neck, pinning her against the wall again with a sickly smug voice to compliment the aggressor, "Look who finally decided to come home after she stayed out for a whole night yesterday~" her father's voice coos, Natsuki squinting to try and look at him in the darkness of the house, his eyes are dull and grayed over that it almost looks like they're purely one color.

"P-Papa..." Natsuki whimpers, her father just laughing softly at her sending shivers down her spine, "I-I'm sorry I didn't come home. B-But my friend s-she-"

"Shut your damn mouth... You think I give a shit about your reason?" he asks quieting Natsuki quickly who doesn't mutter another word, "No... not only do you spit in my face for giving you a roof over your head, but I get a call from the school telling me they're concerned for your safety?!" he shouts.

He growls and holds her neck, throwing her down onto the ground again like a couple of nights ago, Natsuki landing straight on her badly bruised side knocking the wind out of her. She tries to get up, holding her side and hissing through her teeth when she touches it too hard, the lights coming on suddenly when her father flips a switch. He walks over to her and pushes her with the heel of his shoe onto her side again, rearing back to kick Natsuki once more. She curls up, getting hit hard in her knee rather than her stomach for once, it still hurt badly but it wasn't nearly what she would expect if she was hit anywhere else.

"I'm under investigation because of you now!!! They said they saw "marks on her neck" during a class," he says rolling his eyes and about to kick her again, "Do you have any idea what this means for me you dumbass?! I'm fucking screwed, and it's all your damn fault! You and that little whore you've been talking to!!!" he shouts, driving the front of his foot into Natsuki's arm nearly hard enough to have shattered a bone or two.

Her father is breathing hard, seething with anger that she would dare talk back to her as if any of what is happening is his fault. He shakes her off and grabs her hair, yanking her up before throwing her into a wall face first, Natsuki shouting out in fear and leaning on the dry wall shaking.

"You are an insufferable little brat!" he shouts, getting right up in her face and shouting so hard that spit flies onto Natsuki's cheek, "A fucking mistake!!! You know what I want from you?!" Natsuki shuts her eyes, cowering from him as he towers over her, "I want you to suffer... I want you gone, I never want to see your pathetic little face ever again!!! You have the nerve to screw up my life countless times... so how about we change that?" he says reaching down and grabbing something on his utility belt.

Natsuki hears her father pulling something out, opening her eyes and seeing a large sleek combat knife being brought to her face with a sickening smile of glee on her father's face. His pupils staring at her with excitement as he grabs her face, pushing his thumb and index fingers into her jaw to force her to open her mouth. Putting the blade inside Natsuki's forced open maw, the pinkette starts to cry and is paralyzed with nothing but fear. Her fight or flight instincts none existent to her as she's forced to keep her mouth as open as possible to avoid cutting herself or worse.

"I think I'm gonna enjoy not hearing you ever again, you'll look good with your tongue carved out," Natsuki gasps as her father turns the blade flat, already poking Natsuki's tongue with its point, "Yeah... maybe then I'll actually get rid of the biggest mistake of my entire fucking life!!!" he shouts, about to stab down into Natsuki's tongue.

Pulling the knife back to bring it back down in a powerful stab which Natsuki finally reacts to, pulling away from her fathers hand, she ducks and throws herself on the floor. Her father stabs the wall instead, Natsuki trying to scurry away as fast as she can on all fours only for a sharp searing pain to shoot through her leg making her scream out an ear piercing shriek.

She looks back and sees the knife that her father was trying to stab her with now lodged in her unbruised calf, the knife halfway in her leg. Natsuki turns onto her back and brings her leg up to her chest, holding it and gritting her teeth, not feeling the pain much from the shock that she actually was just stabbed by her own father!

He gets up and wipes his mouth, already he's sweating again, "You... hah... crazy fucking bitch," he says, standing over Natsuki as she weakly sobs, her blood pooling on the floor and staining the back of her skirt and uniform,

"P-Papa *sob* s-stop, please stop, I-I... I don't want to die, please," Natsuki begs, clenching her eyes shut again and pleading for all of this to just stop already.

He laughs, "Aaaaaw, how sweet, but nah, I think you've just proven to me there's still some fun to be had with you after that little stunt just now. I think I'll keep you around for a little longer, Natsuki~" he coos, crouching down and smirking at her, seeming glad that she put up at least some sort of a fight.

Natsuki cries and weeps, starting to feel the pain in her leg as her consciousness leaves her. Deciding this is her bodies way of saying it would rather her be asleep when all of this is happening than awake and to feel anymore of the pain its been put through. Natsuki going limp with her stabbed leg and beaten up body sprawled out across the floor, believing that it would be better if she just bled out and died than force herself through another day of this hell...
