I wake up with my girl asleep on my chest. Oh, how I have missed this. I never thought I would see her again. I just lay there listening to her breathe and run my fingers through her hair. Soon she is stirring and she stretches and yawns.

"Good morning, love."

"Good morning."

"How are you feeling this morning?"

"I am okay. I'm just a little worried."

"I'm here, always. We will get through this. Maybe we should report this again."

"Yes, I think so."

We get up and get ready to head to work. Once we are finished we walk out to the kitchen and Matt has already made breakfast.

"Hello, you two. How are you this morning, bunny?"

"I'm okay. Eric suggested we make a report about this."

"I think it is a good idea. I don't know if they will do anything, but it is a start. We should tell Melissa what is going on."

"I think we should."

We all get ready and head out to our cars. Amanda comes with me to my car.

"I will see you in a while. I want you to come with me."

"Absolutely, I will always be there for you."

We leave for work and I head into the shop. It was a couple hours and I heard her voice floating through the air.

"Hey, babe. Are you back there?"

"Yeah, love. Give me a moment and I will be out."

I head out to her and kiss her cheek.

"Sorry, let me go wash up and we can head out."

"Okay."

After I wash up, we head over to the precinct and meet with a detective. We give him the note and tell him about the other stuff that happened back in Texas. He let us know there was not much he could do at the moment, but to let him know if anything else comes up. We thanked him and head back to my shop.

"Let me take you out this weekend?"

"I would love that."

"I'll pick you up at seven."

"That sounds great."

"Then it's a date."

"Okay, I need to head back to work before they send out a search party."

"Alright love, I will see you Saturday."

Amanda's POV

I head back to the office and I see Matt walking towards me. He has a smile on his face. I guess the day is going well for him.

"What's that grin for?"

"We landed the account."

"That's awesome!"

"We need to celebrate."

"I have a date this Saturday."

"Look at you. I was wondering what you were smiling for. How did it go?"

"We reported the note and also everything that went on in Texas. They said they would contact the precinct where it was first reported. They said they couldn't do much right now, but to let them know if anything more happened."

"I guess that is okay. We will watch out for you, bunny. I know your fine ass man will." I smack his shoulder as we head back to our office, and finish out the day. The week went by quickly since we were busy with the new account. It was late Friday and I finally realized how late it was.

"Alright Matt, let's finish up and get out of here."
"You're right, it's late and I am beat." We pack everything away and head out to my car. As we get there my phone buzzes. I quickly answer and a smile crosses my lips.

"Hey babe! What's up?"

"Just calling to check on you. I haven't talked to you all week."

"Yeah, I'm just leaving work with Matt. It's been a busy week."

"I'm sorry sweetheart. There is a surprise waiting for you when you get home.
"A surprise, what is it?"

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?"

"Oh, yeah."

"Call me when you find it, okay?"

"Will do."

"What did lover boy want?" Matt asks as he places an arm on my shoulders.

"He said there is a surprise waiting for me at home."

"Let's get going then."

We climb into my car and head home. My foot was a little heavier than usual since I really wanted to see what was waiting for me. We soon pull in and quickly head to our apartment. I look up and see Eric standing at our door with a bouquet of flowers and take-out.

"I got your favorite Chinese."

"How did you know?"

"A little birdie told me." He said as he winked at Matt. I look over to him and he has a big grin on his face. I run over and give Eric a big hug and kiss.

"That's so sweet, thank you."
"Well, I had to celebrate my girl getting the account she has been working on."

"We could have done that tomorrow."
Nope, tomorrow is just me and you. Besides I had to include your partner."

"Thanks man, she has been working hard this week." Matt says with a smile.

"That's why I brought dinner. I knew she didn't want to cook. I know you didn't either."

We head inside and he places the containers on the island and we dig in. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry or tired, but the food is good. I will have to remember this for next time.

"How has your week been?" I ask.

"It was pretty busy too. I had several suvs that we are customizing for our biggest client."

"Oh, can you tell me?"
"No, I actually can't. It's part of the contract that I don't talk about what or who."
"Aww, too bad. Some big celebrity?"

"You could say that."

Once we are finished eating I head into my room to change into my pjs as the guys pick out a movie. I snuggle up to Eric on the couch, he wraps an arm around me and plays with my hair. I fell asleep halfway through. He eventually carries me to my bed and tucks me in, kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight, my love. See you tomorrow night."

"MMnngh, night. See tomorrow."

He quietly closes the door as he leaves and I drift back into a deep sleep. The next day was relaxing after a busy week. Matt and I just hung around the house, doing much of nothing. It was soon time for me to get ready for our date. I wasn't sure what he was planning tonight.I guess it's another surprise? At precisely seven the doorbell went off and Matt went to answer it. I hear him talking to Eric as he invites him in. I walk out from my room

"Wow, you look amazing!"

"Thank you."

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes"

"How about dinner and a movie?"

"That sounds great."

"Let's go." He takes my hand and we head out to his car. He opens my door and I climb in as he shuts it and heads over to the drivers side. He takes me to a cute little Mexican restaurant and the food is fantastic. He tells me that this is his favorite place, not as good as back home, but very close. Once we finished we headed over to the movie theater and got our tickets. We go into our theater and sit in the back. It was so nice to be able to spend time with him. My feelings for him have been rushing back and I don't know how much longer I can hold out. Just being near him makes my skin feel like it's on fire. We had picked a horror film, and he would just chuckle every time I would hide my eyes in his chest and he would rub my head. It was like we were never apart. We fit together like two puzzle pieces. Soon the movie was over and we headed out to the car. I noticed something on his windshield. I pointed it out and he grabbed it and read it.

"That fucker, I swear I am going to kill him."

"What does it say?"

"I don't want to stress you out."

"Just let me see it." He reluctantly hands it over to me.

Note- I see you with her. I told you to stay away. She's mine! Back away if you know what is good for you.

"Oh my god! Now he's threatening you!"
"I'll be fine. I'm more worried about you." He pulls me into him and holds me tight kissing the top of my head. I start shaking and I can't stop. He lifts my chin to look at him.

"Hey, we'll be fine. We will. Take this to the cops. Maybe now they will do something since he has threatened both of us."
"I hope so." We climb in his car and head back to my apartment. We head inside and Matt is still awake.

"What's wrong, bunny?" Matt looks up and sees the look in my eyes and that I am gripping on to Eric's shirt. He has his arms wrapped around me as we come in the door.

"We found another note on my car tonight. It was threatening me this time."

"This guy is ridiculous. Now there is a threat,they should be able to do something."

"I would hope so. I am just worried about her."

I hear the guys talking and I begin to sob. I can't believe that he has reared his ugly head again. I have brought him back into this nightmare of mine. It scares me to think that something could happen to him, because of me.

"Love, it's okay. We will take care of you. Please, calm down."

"Maybe she just needs to go to sleep. Bunny, we are here for you. You know we will watch out for you."

I shake my head yes as I sob into my hands. I can't stop shaking as Eric pulls me into him and kisses my cheek.

"Come on, love. Let's get you to bed." He leads me to my room and helps me undress again. As I crawl into bed I ask him to stay.

"Will you stay with me again? I always feel safe in your arms."

"Of course I will stay. I sleep better with you anyways."

He strips down to his boxer briefs and climbs into bed with me. I snuggle into his chest and wrap myself around him as he wraps his arms around me caressing my arm that is on his chest.

"I love you, sweetheart." He says as he kisses the top of my head.

"I love you too." Soon sleep overtakes me and I am falling into dreamland.
