It has been six weeks and today is our next appointment. We might be able to find out what we are having. The doctor will also be rechecking my anemia. My morning sickness has gotten better. I am still tired all the time. I am hoping that the anemia is better. It scares me thinking about delivery. If the anemia is not better, it could make complications when it is time. Eric is worried about it too. He is always making sure I eat well and take all my meds.

"Are you ready, babe?"
"Yeah, just grabbing my shoes and I'll be out."

Once I am ready, we head out to the car and off to the doctor's office. We head up to the desk and check in. It wasn't long before we were taken back and put in a room. After a few minutes the nurse comes in and takes my blood to run the tests, while the doctor comes in to examine me.

"Good afternoon, Amanda. How are we feeling today?"

"The morning sickness is getting better, but I am still tired all the time."

"Well, we will see how the blood work looks. Now hop up on the table and take a look at your baby, shall we?"

I hop up on the table and expose my belly.

"Remember the gel is cold."

She applies the gel and I can't help but whimper from the cold as she places the probe. She moves it around for a bit and takes some measurements.

"Well, it seems your baby is being a little stubborn today. It's not letting me see the sex, but everything is doing well."

She turns a few buttons and we hear the heartbeat, loud and clear. I turn and see Eric's eyes glistening with tears. He is such a big softie under that hardened exterior. He turns to me and smiles as he grabs my hand and squeezes.

"Cheeky little devil." I chuckle.

"Alright, let me go get the blood work and come back. You can get down now."

She hands me a towel and walks out. I wipe my belly and adjust my clothes and get down. Eric stands up and wraps me in a hug and kisses my lips.

"I just love that sound. It is so amazing."

"I know. It's beautiful and I can't wait to meet him or her."

"Me too."

The doctor comes back in and we sit down.

"Well the anemia hasn't changed much. I will write you a prescription for a different medication. If we can't get these numbers up we will take all the precautions we can when the time comes to meet the little one. Don't worry, we got this."

Eric grabs my hand and squeezes it tight. I can see the worry in his face. I am worried too, but I trust my doctor.

She goes over everything else and tells us that she wants to see us again in four weeks. We thank her and head out front to schedule the next appointment and pick up the pictures she had for us. After the appointment he drops me back off at work for the afternoon and he heads back to his. I walk in stopping by Matt's office.

"Hey uncle Matty, how are things?"

"Hey bunny, how did the appointment go? Do you know what you are having yet?"

"No, the cheeky little devil kept hiding. They are concerned about my anemia though."

"Don't worry, bunny. You have got this."

"I can't help it. I know I have great doctors, but it still scares me."

He stands up and comes over to me wrapping me in a hug and kisses the top of my head. I hug him back tight. He always knows when I need a hug. He is like a big brother to me and I can't thank him enough for everything he has done for me throughout our friendship.

"So how is the wedding planning going?"

"Oh my gosh, we have decided on a beach wedding. We still are undecided about colors and the reception. I was going to ask you and Eric over for dinner tonight."

"I think that would be okay. Let me call him real quick."

Phone call

"Hey baby, what's up? Everything okay?"

"Yes, everything is fine. Matty wants to know if we could come over for dinner?"

"Yeah, that would be fine. I will see you at home."

"See you later. I love you."

"Love you too, baby."

End of phone call

"He said that was okay. We will see you this evening."

"Great, I will let Kyle know."

"Well, let me get back to work so I can get out of here on time."

I headed back to my office to start with the rest of my day and before I knew it, it was five o'clock.

"Hey bunny, time to go."

"Oh, I am just finishing up. Thank you."
He sits and waits while I finish up and he walks me out to my car. He has been doing this since the abduction. I told him that I would be fine and he doesn't have to worry. He said he is not taking any chances again.

"See you two later at the house."

"We will be there with bells on."

I climb in my car and head home. Once I pull in, I head into the house and up to the bedroom to change. Not long after I hear Eric pull up and come inside.

"Hey babe, where are you?"

"I'm in the bedroom, changing."

I am standing in front of the mirror looking at my little baby bump when he walks through the door. He looks at my almost naked body and licks his lips as he walks toward me. Placing himself against my back and wrapping his arms around me placing his hands on my belly, he starts kissing my neck.

"You are so beautiful. Your skin is so soft. I love you so much."

"Mmm, I love you too, but we need to get ready or we will be late."

"MM, they will understand." His lips kissing over my shoulder and goosebumps erupt down my arms.

"Although, I would love to stay here, and let you fuck me senseless. I promised we would go."

"Uggh, okay. Let me go shower real quick."

He goes to hop in the shower as I finish getting dressed. After about thirty minutes we are on our way over to Matt and Kyle's. Once we arrived he headed inside.

"Hey guys, dinner is almost ready. How have you been?" Kyle greets us as he opens the door, giving us both hugs.

"We are doing great. The baby is growing like a weed, and we are still not able to know what it is." Eric returns.

"That's great. Maybe next time."

Once dinner is ready, we all sit down to eat.

"So the reason we asked you over tonight is to ask you if you would be our maid of honor and best man." Matt says with a smile.

"Absolutely, you don't even have to ask. You know I would." I say bouncing in my seat.

"Yes, thank you."

"You don't know how happy that makes us. We love you guys."

"We love you too."

"So, this weekend we are going to go for wedding attire. We would like you to come. We also want to show you the venue. It is going to be beautiful." Kyle adds.

"I am so excited for you two. Knowing what it took for you to be together. I am so happy for you." I smile.

"It's going to be a small wedding." Matt says quietly.

"Are your parents going to be here?" I ask.

"Mine will. Sadly Kyle's parents haven't been too accepting of us." He says with a frown.

"I'm sorry Matty, but at least you have us. We will always support you."

"Thank you, bunny."

We soon finish eating and I help them clean up. We sat in the living room talking about the upcoming wedding and all their plans. Matt says he has the honeymoon already planned but wants it to be a surprise for Kyle. It should be romantic. I never thought he would be like that. I guess when you love someone that much, it just brings it out of you. It was getting late and I was getting tired. I had curled up against Eric as we talked and he could tell I was struggling to stay awake.

"Well guys, I better get this one home and to bed. She has had a long day." Eric says as he gets up and helps me stand.

"Yeah, she does need her rest." Matt says as he stands up to hug us both.

"Come on love, let's get you two home."

He helps me out the door and into the car and we are soon headed home. I soon fall asleep and when we arrive he comes around to my side and picks me up in his arms and carries me inside. Once inside he carries me up to our bedroom and sets me on the bed. Helping me undress and climbs in behind me and places his hand protectively on my belly.

"Goodnight my love, and little bean. I love you both."

"We love you too."

The weekend comes quickly and we are on our way over to Matt and Kyle's to go wedding shopping. I am actually excited. Once we get to the shops we split up. Eric goes with Matt and Kyle takes me to the bridle shop to find a bridesmaid dress. He picked several that he liked and had me try them on. Each dress I stepped out in, he either frowned or shook his head. The final dress I tried on and walked out, he just smiles.

"That one is perfect. You look absolutely beautiful. Just what I had envisioned. Here let's go pay for it and we can go look for my suit."

"Okay, I really like this one too."

We head to the counter and pay for the dress and head out to find Kyle's. We all meet at the food court and everyone has found their attire. Both Matt and Eric are matching. That is all we get out of them and I just chuckle. I guess we will see when it is time. Once we finish eating, they take us out to the beach where the ceremony and reception will take place. They are both smiling from ear to ear as they tell us how it will be decorated and where everything will be. It makes me smile to know that they are happy. I have wanted this for them for so long. We all sit on the beach and just talk about the future and the things that are coming. It is a wonderful afternoon and then we all go home.

I can't believe they are finally getting married."

"Me either, I am so glad that they are. They are both great friends and I am so glad they are finally finding their happiness."
