Jordan's POV

I reach over and turn my alarm off and get up to start my day. I step into the bathroom and begin my morning routine. After I shower I head into my room and put my uniform on, and head down to the kitchen to get my morning coffee and read the paper before heading into work. As I am sitting down my pumpkin comes in and greets me.

"Good morning, daddy."

"Good morning, pumpkin. Sleep well?"

"Yes, I did. I had a good night's sleep."

"So have you started looking into where you will be staying at college? What classes will you be taking?"
"I will be staying on campus in one of the dorms. I will be registering today for classes."

"That's great, I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you, daddy. I've got to run before I'm late for work."

"Alright pumpkin, see you tonight."

"Alright daddy."

She heads out and I finish my coffee and head into work. As I head into the office I see Jenkins at his desk.

"Jenkins, in my office, now!"
"Yes, sir!" He gets up and heads in to my office behind me and closes the door before he sits down.

"What is it, I hear you accosting my daughter?"

"I'm sorry sir. It won't happen again."

"Damn right it won't. I told you to detain Eric, make him want to leave, not molest my daughter! That is not how you win her over."

"I'm sorry."

"Do you want to keep your job?"

"Yes, sir."

"Then do what I tell you to. She thinks you're a creep. Now get back to work and don't let me hear anything bad about you again."

"Yes, sir." He says as he gets up and heads back to his desk. I just shake my head as I start to work on the paperwork on my desk. I eventually see Jenkins head out to start his patrol. It is soon lunchtime and I decide to head over to the coffee shop and visit my pumpkin. I pull up and head inside and I walk up to the counter.

"Hey daddy, what brings you out here today?"

"Just thought I would come visit my daughter where she works. Is that a problem?"
"No daddy, just you haven't come to see me here all summer."

"I know, I thought I would finally come see you since I won't be able to just stop by when you go off to school."

"Daddy, you are so silly." She says as she gets me a cup of coffee, made exactly how I like it. She lets her boss know she is going on break and we sit down together. We talked about her staying at the dorms. She tells me it is an all girls dorm, and I breathe a sigh of relief. We also talk about the courses she wants to take. She tells me that she wants to get a part time job to help with tuition and things. I tell her not to worry about it, just focus on school for now. I would take care of everything. She does have a scholarship which will help with a lot so I am able to help with other things. I am so proud of her and decided to go in the fall instead of waiting. It gets her away from Eric too.

"I've got to get back to work, daddy. I will see you tonight, love you."

"Love you too, pumpkin. See you at home."

I head out the door and back to work.

Jenkins POV

After my discussion with Sheriff Stevens, I head back to my desk. I can't believe she told him what happened the other night. I didn't do anything. She liked it. I could feel her body tremble beneath me. Her scent is intoxicating. I have to have more. I go sit back at my desk to finish my reports and I can't stop thinking about her. I have to go out, maybe patrolling will get my mind off of her. I grab my keys and head out. I send the rest of the day doing routine stops and occasional domestic calls. It's the boring stuff. I eventually am in the area of the coffee shop and stop across the street and can see her through the windows. She is beautiful. I just sit and watch as she works. The way her hair moves as she walks. She smiles at the customers and it just lights up her face. She has to be mine. I must get rid of the boy toy, Eric, and then she will be all mine. After sitting and watching her for a while, I decided to head back to the precinct. I don't want to bring much attention to me watching her. I head off and check on Eric for a bit before I head back to finish up my paperwork for the day.

"Goodbye beautiful, I will see you again soon."

"I head back in and report to Sheriff Stevens about Eric. I think to myself about how I am going to get rid of him. He is in my way of Amanda and I need to get rid of him soon.
