Eric’s POV
I woke up the next morning and decided to go over to Amanda’s Dads. I just don’t trust the guy and I think that Sheriff Stevens needs to know what Jenkins is doing. I get dressed and head over to his house. I pull into the driveway and sit in my truck for a few minutes, gathering up my courage to go in. Eventually I get out and go up to the door and knock.
“Eric, why are you here?”
“I will just be a few minutes. May I come in? It’s about Amanda.”
“Come in then.” He opens the door and steps back to let me in. I go to sit down in the livingroom and he sits down in his chair.
“So, what is this about Amanda?”
“She called me the other day and said she thought that she saw Jenkins following her around campus.”
“I don’t think so. He was here at work.”
Do you know for sure? She was very distraught and I had to go up there.”
“Yes, he checked in several t8imes. I left early so I didn’t see him come in. I did see his patrol car yesterday though.”
“I did think I saw him yesterday though. Look, I just wanted to let you know. I don’t trust him. You shouldn’t either.”
“I will look into it, and thank you for telling me about it.”
“You're welcome. I should be going. I don’t want to take up too much of your time.”
“Thank you again, Eric.” I head out the door and back into my truck. I just don’t feel very good about this. I head back to my house and call Amanda to see how she is doing.
“Hey babe, what’s up?” she asks.
“Just checking in and see how you are doing.”
“I’m doing okay. Been studying for a couple midterms.”
“Sounds intense. Any more sightings?”
“No, none today, but I haven’t been anywhere.”
“That’s good. So I was wondering since you will be finished with tests for a bit. Would you like to come stay with me for the weekend?”
“That sounds wonderful. I really don’t want to go home. Dad and I aren’t on the best of terms at the moment, with the whole Jenkin’s thing.” 
“I did tell him what happened last weekend. So I get to see you this weekend?”
“Yes, I will be at yours friday.”
“That just made my whole week better. I can’t wait to have you in my arms.”
“I can’t wait to be in your arms. I better go though, so I can get this studying done. I will see you friday.”
We hang up and I can’t wipe the smile off my face. I don’t know what this girl is doing to me, but I think I like it, and I don’t want it to stop. This week had gone by so slow and it was driving me crazy. I had been fome for about an hour when I heard a car pull in the driveway. I head outside and see my girl climbing out of her old beat up beetle. I quickly head out and wrap her up in my arms and spin her around as I kiss her lips.
“Hahahahaha, put me down. I’m getting dizzy.”
“I missed you so much!”
“It’s only been a week.”
“I know, but being away from you for a few minutes is too long.”

“Come on, let’s get inside. I’ve got dinner ready.”

We head inside and I take her things to the bedroom, and we sit down at the table to eat. I had made baked spaghetti and a salad with garlic bread. Something simple, I’m not the greatest cook, but I know my way around the kitchen.
“So how did you do on your exams?”
“I think I did pretty well. I won’t know for a couple days, so I will be a bit nervous this weekend.”
“Well. I guess I will need to keep you distracted, won’t I?”
“Hmm, how would you do that?”
“I’ve got plenty of ways to keep you distracted.” I say with a smirk as I lean over and kiss the spot under her ear as she let out a soft moan. I can see the goosebumps form on her skin as I sit back down to finish our dinner. When we are done she helps clean up and we sit down to watch a movie. She curls up into me as I throw a blanket over us and start it up. I could get used to this. She is slowly working her way into my heart. I just hope we can get this whole thing taken care of before Jenkins hurts her. We sit and watch the movie and start into the second one when I look down and she is asleep. I turn off the tv and carefully carry her up to bed. Pulling off her pants and bra leaving her in her t-shirt, I crawl behind her and wrap my arms around  her and pull her into me. I slowly fall asleep behind her. The next morning I woke up and she was still sleeping. I hear her soft purrs as I start kissing her neck. “How about we go out tonight?”
“Sounds like fun.”
“We can meet up with my uncle. Our favorite hangout. It’s usually not so crowded. We can chill, maybe play some pool?”
“That sounds great. I love hanging out with your aunt and uncle.”
“That settles it. I will call him and see what he is doing.” I call my uncle and he and my aunt are up for a night out. Amanda and I spent the day out. We decided to head to the park again and hike a bit before we headed back to get ready for the night. I am ready downstairs waiting for her to come down. After a while she comes down and looks amazing.

“Ready to go?”
“Yep, gonna beat your butt at pool.”
“You are, huh?”
“Yep.”
“We’ll see.” We climb into my car and head over to the bar. We walk in and my aunt and uncle are already seated in a booth and we go to sit down with them.
“Hello nephew, and Amanda. How are things going?”
“Going well, I finished my midterms and I think I did well on them.”
“Good for you sweetie. Have you had any more run-ins with the creeper?” My aunt asks her.
“No, actually not. It has been quiet.”
“Are you hungry?” I ask her.
“Actually I am. Do they have wings here? I am craving them now.”
“Yes, they have the best ones in town.”
I order our food and the waitress heads out to put our order in and get our drinks. After about thirty minutes our food comes out and we dig in. We make small talk as we eat. ONce we finish, we decide to play a few games of pool. We were having a good time and I looked over to see Jenkins come in. What a way to put a damper on the mood again. How does he know we are always here. Well, as long as he doesn’t bother us, we won’t bother him. 
“Hey babe, I’m gonna run to the bathroom real quick.”
“Aright, Jenkins is here. Do you want me to go with you?”
“No, I don’t think he will try anything in public.” 
I watch her head back. I just don’t trust him. I went back to talking to my uncle for a bit. I look around and don’t see Jenkins. I get a bad feeling and go to find Amanda. 
“Hey uncle, I will be back in a minute. I need to check on Amanda. I don’t see Jenkins.”
“Okay nephew, stay out of trouble though.”
“I will try.” I head to the back and down the dim;y lit hallway. I soon see Jenkins and he has Amanda caged against the wall. I see red and stomp towards them and rip him away from her.
“How many times does she have to say no! Leave her alone.”
“She doesn’t know what she wants. She will soon and it won’t be you.”
“Keep your filthy hands off her or I will beat your ass!”
“Are you threatening an officer?”
“No, it’s a promise. You need to back off or you will regret it!”
“I’ll be back, don’t worry.” 
I wrap her in my arms as he hurries out the front.
“Are you okay, sweetheart?”
“Yes, now that you are here.” I walk with her in my arms back to the table.
“Oh my gosh, what happened?” Aunt Tanya asks worriedly.
“Jenkins is what happened. He had her caged against the wall near the bathrooms.”
“You two have got to say something to her dad. This has got to stop before someone gets hurt.” My uncle says concerned.
“Yes, we do. Can we go home Eric? I just don’t feel it any more. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay sweetie, take care of you. Don’t worry about us.” Uncle Troy says.
“Let’s go home.”
“Thank you, babe. Let’s go. Good night.”
“Good night, don’t worry.” Aunt Tanya adds.
We head home and get ready for bed. After we crawl into bed, I pull her onto my chest and wrap my arms around her. 
“We need to go talk to your dad tomorrow.”
“I know. It’s going to be a little hard since I didn’t tell him I was coming home this weekend.”
“We will get through this.”
“I hope so.”
I run my fingers through her hair and she is soon asleep. I kiss the top of her head.
“I think I am falling in love with you.”
My eyes close and I am soon asleep with my girl in my arms.
