Those Damned Skeletons
You fell forward for a couple seconds before someone grabbed your arm, roughly pulling you back. "What the hell are you doing?!" Toriel snapped. "What the hell do you THINK I was doing! I'm trying to fucking die!" You snapped back. Surprise and anger burned deep within her eyes. "You want to... leave me?" She all but growled out, hand tightening over your arm. You tried not to wince in pain. "I've been trying to die since before I got here. I didn't WANT your help. So if you're going to kill me, just do it already. She seemed absolutely shocked by your statement and her grip loosened enough for you to slip out. She wasn't going to do it, you could tell and she'd probably stop you once again so you fled instead. You would find somewhere to die. It just didn't seem to be here. "MY CHILD, STOP!" She was following now as you reached the bottom of the stairs and ran down the hall. You rounded the corner, hearing her closing in behind you, and shoved at the door. "DON'T GO OUT THERE!" But you did. You slipped through a crack just big enough for you.

Fuck it was cold. You instinctively clutched yourself to conserve body heat. Honestly you could just sit here for a few hours, you'd freeze to death. You fell back on your ass with a sigh, closing your eyes. You let the freezing cold numb you and seep deep into your bones. You willed yourself to fall asleep, and never wake up. But of course, someone or something else had to interfere. "an' boss usually calls me th' lazy one." Just like that, you were forcing your eyes back open as you were pulled up and stumbled into open arms. "woah there, sweetheart. fallin' fer me already?" He was a Skeleton. A short one. Shorter than you by at least a foot, maybe a little less. "'s dangerous fer lil kittens like ya t' be fallin' asleep out 'ere." He kept an arm firmly wrapped around your waist as you stumbled along, deeper into the snowy landscape. You closed your eyes again. You wanted sleep. Why couldn't he let you sleep? You tried to express these thoughts, but your voice wasn't wanting to work either. Ugh. Should've just looked for a knife or gun. So much faster..

Voices drifted in and out. You stopped at some point in time, then was dropped into the snow. One voice was unbelievably louder than the other, you were mildly surprised that you couldn't hear him clearly. Then you were scooped up, head lolling back like the dead weight that it felt like. You managed to open your eyes just a sliver, seeing a blurry mess of black, white, and red before they closed again. You weren't sure if you were actually smiling or not, but for once you felt at peace. You felt yourself finally slip off into the dark, just as heat hit you square in the face.

There was a crash. Yelling. Lots of it. You frowned heavily. You still weren't dead..? Dammit. You were in a bed, a black race car bed and you were piled with blankets. You shoved them off with an annoyed growl, wanting to tell off whoever was yelling for at least disturbing the peaceful rest you'd managed to get. Slamming the door open had definitely gotten their attention. A tall Skeleton holding tight to the collar around the shorter ones neck. They both glowered at you with thunderous gazes before their sockets widened and they both looked away with red dusting their faces. Ok then..?
