"FOOT OUT OF MOUTH NOW, TIGGY, HERE HAVE A TEETHING RING." Papyrus smiled as Astigma took the trade well, noming on the ring while he stared up at his daddy with wide [E/C] eyes. You rolled your eyes in amusement at the baby. "HE IS COMPLIANT TODAY."
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" You questioned. "COMPARED TO YESTERDAY WHEN EVERYTHING WAS A FUSS, I'D SAY IT WAS A GOOD THING!" Papyrus exclaimed as you nodded in agreement. "you can say that again." Sans also agreed as he came downstairs with a yawn. "OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, YOUR UNCLE IS FINALLY AWAKE FOR ONCE." Sans frowned as Astigma laughed at that. "ah, don't be a bully kid." The shorter Skeleton faked a pout, Astigma laughing more at his display. Sans broke out into a grin as he fell into the couch on the other side of you. You grinned back at him before turning back to your lover and child. Unfortunately for you, your happiness was short-lived. It all happened so fast. The door getting broken down as an armored monster and dogs came rushing in, surrounding the three of you.

"Papyrus, what is the meaning of this?!" He clutched Astigma closer as he was addressed, the three of you standing and looking for an escape. "don't come any closer!" Sans placed himself in front of you both. "u n l e s s y a w a n n a h a v a g r e a t t i m e !" He growled, smile wide. "SANS!" Sans eyes never left your enemies. "Ha! What are you, a weak ass bitch to Papyrus, gonna do?" Undyne summoned a spear and took position. To throw it at you, "boom." There was a whirring sound and a bright light as you felt your arm getting grabbed and ended up in the snow. "WAS THAT A FUCKING SPECIAL ATTACK SANS?!"
"Oh fuck it's cold out, how's Astigma?!" Sans pulled off his jacket so Papyrus could wrap the baby in it. "yeah it was. c'mon, there's only one safe place left and we don't have much time." Papyrus handed Astigma off to you so you could make sure the baby was good. He tried to preserve your body heat too, pressing close to you. "LEAD THE WAY, THE HUMANS CANNOT STAY OUT HERE LONG."

"Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me.." Sans quirked a brow. "so you know the old lady then?" You groaned. "We didn't exactly part on good terms... speaking that I was trying to kill myself at the time." Sans shrugged. "welp it's the only place we can disappear to now." He knocked on the Ruins doors, all of you scanning for the enemy. "How did she even know...? I thought we were careful?" You muttered. "Alphys might have seen you on the cameras at some point during your suicide mission." Papyrus whispered back. "Or it's just as likely that their was complaints from the baby's noise." You noticed Sans talking to the door, Astigma was fussing from the cold. You held him closer to give him some of your body heat. "come on in, guys." The door was open, Sans gesturing to it. The three of you rushed in, trying to keep you and Astigma warm. "You.." Toriel muttered. "H-hey Toriel... nice to see you again. S-sorry about last t-time." The goat woman opened her mouth, but Papyrus was ushering you upstairs. "IT CAN WAIT UNTIL YOU BOTH ARE WARM AGAIN!"
