C1: Sometimes all I think about is You (Daily Life)
(Later in the day)
We all sat around the dining table in deafening silence, wondering what to do.
After a while...
"Well we can't just sit around doing nothing. We have to do something," Ikubasa said.
"Agreed! I suggested that we split up into an equal amount of people and look around the school," Taka suggested.
"So two people per group? There's sixteen of us, I think we can make it work," Kirigiri said.
"Great idea Kirigiri! I'll make the groups myself!" Taka exclaimed.
"Can I help?" Ikubasa asked and Taka nodded.
"Geez, we're letting those two pick our groups?" Owada asked, as he leaned back on his chair.
"Hey Mu-Mu has experience in splitting people up into groups! Don't doubt her abilities," Enoshima snapped.
"That's...reassuring," Maizono sighed.
Taka and Ikubasa began to write names down on a napkin that Ikubasa found.
They kept glancing up at us and Taka muttered words to her.
After a while...
"We're done!" Taka said.
"Ok hand over the list," Owada said.
Some were happy, some didn't care while others...
"WHAT THE HELL?! I have to put up with him!" Owada shouted.
"Ikubasa place you and me together," Taka muttered.
"Hey we can't have any fighting here. So at least try to get along," Ikubasa explained.
Everyone spilt into the groups that they were assigned to.
Guess I'm with Ikubasa, I thought.
"Ok now where should we start?" She asked.
"I dunno. Just walk around and see what we can find?" I shrugged.
We did not have a plan going into this.
(At the gym)
We bumped into the first group, Fujisaki and Kuwata.
Wonder what did they have to say?
"There doesn't seem to be a place where Usami disappeared off to. No trapdoor, no teleportation system, nothing. She just," Fujisaki snapped her fingers, "poofed."
"Th-this means that sh-she is a different l-level than us. M-making her m-more of a th-threat than sh-she already is," I said.
"Yes true," Kuwata scratched the back of his head.
"Anyway, the gym is exactly how it is at face value. Nothing to hide, it's all open," he explained.
"So nothing worth investigating?" Ikubasa asked.
Both of them nodded.
"Sorry we couldn't be that much of a help," Fujisaki apologized.
"No no, it's ok. It's better than nothing," Ikubasa assured her.
We left.
(At the dorm hallway)
"Hey sis!" Enoshima wrapped her arm around Ikubasa's shoulders.
"Hello sister. What have you and Kirigiri find?" Ikubasa asked.
"Security cameras! Some weirdo is watching us," Enoshima pointed.
That's weird. Why is someone watching us? Unless we're being monitored? I thought.
"Another thing. The dorms are sound proof. Enoshima and I tested that out earlier," Kirigiri spoke up.
"So true! Ugh, while the dorms look so-ooo comfortable, it's just not home. Also they took my cell, that's so unfair," Enoshima sighed.
"They did seem to take valuable possessions like our phones, bags and such," Kirigiri added.
"L-looks like we w-were patted down. S-someone must have not w-wanted us to get in c-contact with anyone i-in the outside world," I said, chewing on my thumbnail.
"That does explain a lot," Kirigiri noted while crossing her arms and looking at the ground.
"What do you mean by that?" Ikubasa asked.
"What's the first thing that you can remember?" Kirigiri asked.
"Ummm, I guess heading over to Hope's Peak. And then, nothing!" Enoshima explained.
"S-same," I nodded.
"We were most likely knocked out and kidnapped. But why would someone take sixteen Ultimates?" Kirigiri wondered.
"Omigod so truuuue! Well someone better come and let us out, I have a swim meet next Saturday and I cannot miss that!" Enoshima exclaimed.
"Yes, thank you for this information," Ikubasa said.
(At the kitchen)
After saying goodbye to Enoshima and Kirigiri, Ikubasa and I went to the kitchen.
"I think there's an unlimited amount of doughnuts here!" Asahina exclaimed.
"And plenty of protein shakes. What is Usami's game here," Ogami muttered.
"Hello, did you find anything?" Ikubasa asked as we walked up to them.
"Yep! Turns out, there's an unlimited amount of food and beverages. We won't run out," Asahina explained.
"It seems like this is for long term. Like we're going to be staying here for a very long time," Ogami added.
"Well of course!" Usami appeared out of nowhere, scaring us.
"What the hell!?" I shouted.
"Language, Fukawa," Ikubasa muttered.
"I told you that you'll be staying here for the rest of your lives! I don't want any of you cuties dying of starvation. No no, I'd rather you kill each other," Usami explained.
"That's very morbid," Asahina trembled.
"Yes yes. Anyway, the food is is mainly stocked by our very own garden which you cannot access now. But sometime soon, you will. Now I must take my leave. Bye bye," Usami disappeared.
"Well...looks like food wouldn't be a problem," Ogami said.
"Yeah but she still wants us to kill one another. I won't stand it!" Asahina exclaimed.
"Agreed. But how do we prevent any deaths?" Ikubasa asked.
"M-maybe we can have a ch-chance to bond so our t-trust in each other will b-be enough for us to not k-kill each other," I suggested.
"Oooh good idea Fukawa!" Asahina said.
"Y-yeah sure...," I said.
"I think that is all for the kitchen. You can run off and investigate some place else," Ogami said.
"Ok. Come on Fukawa," Ikubasa nodded.
She left and I followed her.
(At the trash room)
"So this is where the trash goes," Maizono noted as she peered through the barricade.
"And an incinerator as well. I wonder if anyone could dispose of something that they don't want others to see," Togami added on.
"Hello, have you two found anything?" Ikubasa asked.
"Yes this trash room. I'm not sure why this is here though," Maizono said.
"Well it's obvious to put trash in," Togami said.
"Yeah but why? There are just so many questions and don't get me started on the mystery of the incinerator!" Maizono snapped.
"I hate to be the downer here but what if, since Usami wants us to murder each other, that's there in case of a murder," Ikubasa suggested.
"Yeah no, that's totally sunshine and rainbows," Togami remarked sarcastically.
"W-well she has a point. M-maybe someone wants t-to get rid of evidence?" I pointed out.
"Why would someone want to get rid of evidence?" Maizono asked.
"I d-don't know. I have n-nothing else to add o-on," I muttered.
"Why even speak at all if you didn't have anything else to say," Togami scoffed.
"Hey she was trying her best! She suggested more than you did!" Maizono snapped.
Togami just rolled his eyes at this.
"Fukawa, I think we should leave," Ikubasa said.
"Y-yeah I th-think we should," I agreed.
We left.
(At the party room)
"Now this is a nice change of pace," Ikubasa noted.
"Yep! This room is lively, so much space. Enough to fit so many people!" Hagekure exclaimed.
"This is a nice place. Shame that we're stuck here with no way to contact our loved ones," Naegi said.
"Don't be a downer Naegi! I'm sure that we'll get out of here, we just need to be patient and not kill one another," Hagekure assured him.
"How many people do you think can fit in this party room without it feeling crowded?" Ikubasa asked, changing the subject.
"Hmmm, I think all sixteen of us can fit here," Hagekure suggested.
"Maybe we can do a party in here. That could lift our spirits up," Ikubasa suggested.
"That's not a bad idea. Maybe in two days?" Naegi suggested.
"A-A party...yeah th-that's not so b-bad," I muttered.
"Ok! Then it's settled, we'll have a party in two days," Hagekure exclaimed.
"Great! We can prepare until then," Ikubasa said happily.
A party. Yeah...yeah that's not bad, I thought although that point has already been repeated.
Ikubasa and I left.
(At the Front office)
"Not much is here. Most of the files are empty and some of them are not even open, locked," Taka reported as Ikubasa asked them what he and Owada found.
"This sh*tty plate won't move! Guess we really are trapped here!" Owada snapped.
Ikubasa muttered a "Language" under her breath.
"Also the door is gone and replaced with this," Taka took us to a large door that looked like the giant metal ones in a bank or something.
"I couldn't move it and Usami came by to tell us that we'll need something to access the door so we can open it. She also laughed at our faces, saying that we couldn't find whatever that thing is no matter how hard we look for it. Then she disappeared," Owada explained.
"D-damn. As if the m-message of us g-getting trapped here w-wasn't made enough t-to us," I said.
"Agreed. But we MUST stay positive! We cannot give up!" Taka said.
Owada rolled his eyes at this.
"Anything else you found?" Ikubasa asked.
"Yes! Owada found this," Taka handed me a piece of ripped paper.
FU...huh? I thought.
"F...u...hmmm," Ikubasa said.
"Either someone is saying f*ck you or it's the beginning of a word," Owada said.
"Most likely the second one," Ikubasa said.
I handed the paper back to Taka.
"And that is all we found! Sorry we couldn't be much of a help," Taka said.
"No it's alright. Fukawa and I will be leaving now. Keep on investigating," Ikubasa assured him.
"Ok bye!" Taka saluted.
(At the dining room)
"Are you done with your investigation?" Ikubasa asked as we came upon Celeste sitting in a chair, sipping on some tea while Yamada was looking through plants.
"Yes although he thinks that there is something suspicious with that plant. Something about him having a sharp eye," Celeste explained.
"A sharp eye?" Ikubasa asked.
"Good for baseball...not sure about investigation," Celeste sighed.
"What d-did you find?" I asked.
"I'm going to assume that you already talked to everyone else so nothing else that isn't already news to you," Celeste brought the teacup to her lips.
"But I'm sure you would have found something at least noteworthy," Ikubasa said.
Celeste brought the teacup down and narrowed her eyes at her.
"No. Other than finding where the bathrooms are, I found nothing noteworthy," she said.
"Ms.Celeste, I think I found our prime suspect of plant!" Yamada brought over a small potted plant.
"This isn't the time to be messing around! We need to find something that can bring us out of here!" Ikubasa snapped.
"Calm down, Ikubasa. It seems like Usami isn't quite ready to let us go yet considering what she said to us," Celeste explained.
"Wh-what do you m-mean by th-that?" I asked.
She pushed up her round glasses.
"Surely you heard that she wants us to kill one another right? That's enough to show that she doesn't want us to escape from her clutches," Celeste explained.
"Well y-yeah but it d-doesn't hurt to a-at least investigate!" I said while holding onto my head.
"No but like I said, you most likely have already talked with the others on their investigation. If I said anything, you would have already heard it," she said.
"Still, anything is helpful!" Ikubasa said.
Celeste frowned at this.
"Fukawa, sweetheart. Don't grip your hair like that, it's going to hurt you badly. Ikubasa, I'm sorry to sound this pessimistic but until more information gets shared with us, we're stuck here," she said, sounding dead serious.
The three of us went silent at this.
Celeste went back to giving a faint smile before going back to sipping her tea.
"I...I-I think we should g-gather the others to s-see what they think," I suggested.
"Yeah good idea!" Yamada agreed.
(Le time skip)
Everyone went around and shared their information.
Unfortunately, Celeste was right. There wasn't anything new to me.
"Well what are we going to do now?" Asahina asked.
"We wait until Usami makes her move," Kirigiri spoke up.
"What do you mean by that?" Togami asked.
"We have all made our first move which was to investigate. Now that we have done that, Usami makes her first move in doing something," Kirigiri explained.
"Like in chess? No offense but this isn't a game. This is real life," Kuwata scratched his head.
"Oh but this is a game! A killing game, cuties!" Usami popped out of nowhere.
"GAH!" Taka fell off his chair.
"What is it now?" Togami folded his arms.
"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation! You, getting out? Not in a million years, at least...," Usami grinned, "without a murder happening."
"We're not killing anyone!" Maizono pulled out a box and opened it up to show a crystal ball.
"I see...I see...I see all of us getting out alive!" She exclaimed.
"That's bull!" Usami waved her paws up and down.
"That's a bit reassuring," Hagekure sighed and Kuwata nodded to agree with him.
"No it is not! Besides, there is only a 40% chance of that happening! There is another 60% chance of death happening here so I'll take that chance!" Usami explained.
"Even if someone dies, the police will come for us. Most of us are famous so they are probably catching on that we're missing! And when they do, they'll throw you in rabbit jail!" Enoshima exclaimed.
"Oh? You think that...the police is coming after you?" Usami's tone went from cheery to deathly serious.
"Well yah! Why wouldn't they be?" Enoshima asked.
"Ohohohoho~! Cuuuuuute! You actually think that law enforcement is coming for you! Yeah not happening!" Usami made an X with her arms.
"What do you mean by that? The police aren't coming?" Naegi asked.
"You're all cut off from the outside world. I'm sure you have already seen how tight security is here on the inside but it's more enforced on the outside as well! No one can come out nor in! You are truly stuck here!" Usami cheered.
"Wh-what?" I asked.
"Geez are you deaf! You. Are. Stuck. Heeeeeeeeeere!" Usami drowned out the e in here.
"Bull sh*t! We have lives to attend to, we can't be sitting around playing some stupid game!" Owada snapped and got up violently.
"Don't attack her! Remember what happened!" Taka got up and put an arm in front of Owada.
Owada stayed quiet at this.
"..."
"..."
"Tch, whatever!" Owada said.
"Anyway, it's nearly nighttime. You should all head to bed soon!" Usami said and she disappeared.
"Well then...that sure was eventful," Kuwata sighed.
"So th-there's no way out of here?" Fujisaki asked, trembling.
"That's quite unfortunate," Celeste said.
She was mainly quiet while everyone was talking.
"Mind if I suggest something?" She asked.
"What is it?" Maizono asked.
(I forgot to color in her bow noooo!)
Celeste took off her glasses and stared at us.
"We have rules in place about curfew and such right? There is not rule about us wandering around at night. So why don't we make that a rule! No one should wander around at night. That way, we would have a much easier time in sleeping when we figure that there isn't anyone with murderous intent wandering around the hallways," Celeste suggested.
That took us by surprise!
I guess she does have a point. We wouldn't have to worry about dying in our sleep if we enforce that rule.
"She's right! Let's make that rule!" Taka said loudly.
"I agree! We should be able to sleep soundly without the thought of us being killed in our sleep. Everyone in agreement?" Ikubasa asked.
"Well I guess that does make sense," Kirigiri said.
"Hmmm, looks like some of us do have brains after all," Togami said.
One by one, we all agreed on this rule.
Bing Bong!
"It's now nighttime. Some areas will now be closed so head to bed or do whatever you want in the night. Nighty night, don't let the bedbugs bite!" Usami could be heard from the speakers.
"Guess it's bedtime. We should all head to sleep now," Ogami stood up.
We all headed to our dorms.
I closed the door and locked it before putting on some pajamas that were in my drawers.
I should explore my own dorm...ehh I'll do that tomorrow.
I slipped into bed and after a while, feel asleep.
A/N: finally done! No I didn't forget about this dw! I make things ^^
Predictions? Theories?
