Toast is stuck at home this weekend, with nothing to do. He's been banned from his phone-his parents don't want him talking to Ghost-and there's nothing else in his house to do. All he's done today is mope around in bed, thinking about everything that's happened.

He felt trapped, unable to go out and find his happiness like he'd wanted to do since he and Ghost had skipped classes. Being stuck at home, he wasn't able to go after what made him happy.

There was also the fact that he didn't know what exactly it was that made him happy yet.

Toast sighed, turning over in bed and thinking about the times he'd spent with Ghost. He felt lonelier than ever now that the two of them were apart, even lonelier them before, when he hadn't had any friends.

The more he thought about Ghost, the more obvious something seemed to him.

Any time Toast was with Ghost, he smiled more. He laughed, and talked openly-something he hadn't been able to do with anyone before then. He felt at peace, he felt..

Happy.

Everything suddenly clicked into place for him; the reason he thought of Ghost all the time, that he smiled just thinking of him, the way everything seemed so perfect when they were together.

Johnny Ghost made him feel happy. He was the best friend that Toast had ever had.

So no matter what his parents thought of Ghost, Toast knew he wanted to spend more time with his friend-and this was when he began to form a plan.
