Back Stabber
I'm sitting under a tree outside reading a book I found. Alex said he had something to do which doesn't bother me at all, I need some reading time. "Hi," someone says tentatively. I look up from my book and see the blond from the train, the red and gold Gryffindor patch on her robes stand out from the black robes. "Hello, Sadie, right?" I nod. She smiles and nods back. "Yea." She has a slight Australian accent hidden behind and American one. "I take it as a good thing you're talking to me," she laughs. I smile, "Yes. I've had a bit of an eye opener this year." She sits beside me. "So I know we're not friends or anything," she says. "but can we be friends? Even though I'm not a... a pure blood..?" She asks nervously. I gotta admit, I've seen her in the halls, she seems cool. I smile, "Of course!" She let's out a breath, "Good, because I need help with my Care of Magical Creatures homework," she laughs and pulls out a book. I laugh too, "No problem. Let me it." We talk about random things and finish the work. As much as I was raised to despise muggles and muggle objects and muggle-borns, it's all quite fascinating!

After a while, a couple hours, I wave to Sadie and say good bye. I wander the halls to find Alex and come across some Slytherin girls talking. I dive behind a pillar and listen in. If anything, Mother taught me stealth. "She's got such a big head!" One of them whines. Who? "No kidding! And what's with her hair? And all her ear piercings?" Another says. My hands instantly fly up to my ears and I run a hand along my multiple ear piercings. "Did you see her hanging out with the mudblood this morning?" Yet another voice whispers. And here comes the stab to the heart. "Bri is such a snob. I've seen her clinging to Potter all year!" A painfully familiar voice comments and all the girls start cackling with laughter. I know someone else said something but I can't hear her. My ears are ringing, my heart and pulse are racing, and my vision is blinded by tears. I stumble through the halls to somewhere no one will find me, the girls' bathroom. "Ooh!! A visitor!!" Moaning Myrtle groans and flies around but I pay her no mind. I burry my face in my hands and cry. Just cry. Brook was my friend and she said those awful things about me. Hate to hear what people who don't like me say. "What's wrong?" Myrtle asks. "N-nothing! L-l-leave m-me
al-one!" I sob and she dives into her toilet. I faintly hear the door open and people walk in. "Bri! There you are! I've been looking-" he starts. "What's wrong?" He asks gently. "N-nothing," I murmur and wipe my eyes on my sleeves. "You're lying," he says. "I-I'm f-fine," I murmur again and suddenly find my shoes immensely interesting. "When you say 'I'm fine' you're never fine. What happened?" He persists. "B-Brooklyn and some S-Slytherin girls w-were talking ab-out me a-and I-I overheard th-them," I whisper. I hadn't noticed he sat down beside me until I feel his hand on my shoulder. "They're dimwits. They don't know you and if they knew you are the only person who's trying to help them, they'd think twice about putting their feet in their mouths." I look up at him with my red eyes and he smiles. "See? All better," he laughs softly. "Thanks, Alex," I smile back. "So," he grins. "do you have the ingredients?" I smile so wide it almost hurt. We carefully mix the potion and put the potion in a secluded corner. "So, three weeks?" He asks and I nod. "Three weeks."
Hey wazzup?!
Soooooo sorry this took sooo long and it's so ridiculously short!!! I hope it was okay though!!
Also I may change the title and cover because it dawned on me that they are pretty irrevellant to the story.
Peace out dudes!!
