It was 1pm only hours after you'd given birth to a baby girl. You're eyes fluttered open seeing leorio sitting on the edge of the bed beside you he took a wet washcloth and gently put it on your forehead. Hello Y/n how are you feeling? Tired.. you said with a weak voice. I know darling. You did very well though. Kurapika is in the other room with our child she is taking care of her for now. But you need to rest for a while. You Glace seeing still a bit of a mess in your lower region he caressed your forehead. It's okay darling im just Acessing how the afterbirth will go and I will clean you up. Afterbirth? You asked. Yes I need to check how much bleeding there will be after you deliver the placenta. I have to go through it again?! He gently held your hands it won't hurt as much as delivering a baby just some burning and you'll get those cramps which are the contractions left over to help you deliver the placenta. I must check for tears as well. You had fear in your eyes scared of anything that could happen to you. Leorio undid the blanket and spread your legs gently. Kurapika came back in you and leorios room and gently held your arms gently placing them near your head and had a firm hold not hurting you but making sure nothing is harmed if you get scared. Leorio starts examining your lower part and checks around. You whimper feeling a contraction coming on a leorio messages your stomach to help the placenta desend. Okay y/n could you push for me? Okay. You took a deep breath and pushed as hard as your tired body could feeling a bad burning sensation leorio slowly took the placenta as it came out of you. That's good y/n it's out now. He starts assessing the bleeding and gently cleans you up. Meanwhile Kurapika still holding you tight gives you some water. Leorio then starts checking for tears (this process can be a bit painful) you flinch while he checks. He doesn't want to hurt you though. I'm sorry darling hang in there I'm almost done. Leorio finishes checking and puts you in a clean white nightgown with nothing else underneath and makes you rest. Kurapika exits the room to make sure the baby is alright. Have you thought of a name yet for her? Leorio asks. Caroline? That's a beautiful name. Then Caroline it is. You slowly drift off to sleep as leorio watches over you.
