it was a dark and stormy night, kurapika was sitting on his couch in his comfortable home. he was a senior student at high school in york new and his grades were perfect, like everything else about him, he had shiny medium length hair and grey eyes that sparkled.

he was an omega, since this was the omegaverse yet he didn't let that take over his personality unlike other omegas in this world, he was a quiet and determined person.

his two best friends, gon and killua, were freshman. and they were both betas so they were kinda like the earth ponies of this world. the two boys were actually in a relationship together which was obvious as they were always together.

but one thing was for sure, kurapika did not know what was his best friend was, his best friend being leorio, a tall back-haired man that was studying to become a doctor.

the blonde had always wondered about whether he was an alpha or omega, or even just a beta, but never felt like he should ask since unlike other people, he never directly said to people.

after a few hours passed, and a delicous dinner with his family, he plopped onto his bed and sighed loudly because teacher for his phone, calling a certain man.

"kurapika? what's up?" the man on the other phone said, kurapika started kicking his legs against the bed and getting all shy at the deep voice of leorio.
"oh! leorio! it's so good to h-here from you!" kurapika stuttered.

after about an hour of chatting with eachother, they said their goodbyes and hung up the phone, setting it on his bedside table since he was done with it for now. he laid down as his mind wandered, ugh, i'm so embarrassing, why the hell did i stutter so much? i'm so lame...

after his little mental breakdown he went to sleep, he was pretty tired after all and he had a big day at school tomorrow.

the next morning he woke up and got ready for his day at school, said goodbye to his mom and dad, then hurried off to school, having a piece of bread in his mouth as he ran quickly, crap! i'm gonna be late!

eventually he got to school, happy to be ten minutes early and getting a head start to be the first in class until he noticed a green kid standing up against the wall.

"gon? is that you, usually you're always late with killua?" kurapika asked as gon turned his focus to him, his face gleaming, "oh hey kurapika! don't worry, mito just had somewhere to go so she dropped me off early!" kurapika then gave him a smile as their teacher let them into the classroom early.

a few minutes after class started, leorio rushed in, being late as always, ugh that guy! i love him so much, despite him always being late! ugh, he thought to himself as he had an inner battle.

leorio flashed him a charming smile as the teacher started to yell at him infront of the class. "LEORIO! you will never be a doctor if you continue to be late!and your grades are terrible! that's it, see me after class," the teacher said in a harsh tone.

because of that little outburst, the whole class got quiet and starred at the soon to be doctor, leorio frowned noticing the peoples stares as he sighed in despair, kurapika looking up at him with a sad smile.

quickly, school finished and leorio met up with kurapika, "oh leorio! weren't you suppose to meet up with your teacher?" he reminded, "oh god you're right!" and in a flash, he was gone. kurapika smiling softly as he made his way back home, he wished leorio and him could talk more but perhaps he'll just call him tonight.

"hi mama, and hi dad!" he said as he entered his home, his parents serving him a nice snack and tea as he did his homework in his room.

after an hour passes there was a loud knock on the front door, kurapikas mom getting up to open it, "hello ma'am, is kurapika home?" a familiar voice said, kurapikas mom said yes, knowing it was a school friend.

"kurapika honey! a friend is here for you," she calls out as kurapika gets up from his work and walks down the stairs to see the dark haired man.

"leorio? what are you doing here!" he says with sparkles in his eyes, "kurapika, i have to ask you a favor, will you be my tutor! it's just, our teacher said i needed to bring my grades up or else she'll make sure i never get into a good college! please pika i need your help," the man says desperately.

the blonde just smiled, and promised he'd help him three times a week, of course he would help him, but also what if leorio started to like him after spending so much time together.

two months pass and now it's now almost winter break, leorio was doing much better with school and everyone was proud, leorio was happy, but kurapika was even happier after all the time spent with the future doctor.

the blonde was walking home from a trip to his favorite tea shop, he was thinking about his friend until his mind trailing to one of his special friends.

leorio is just so perfect and we got to spend so much time together! but he isn't that honest with me, he never told me if he's an omega or an alpha, he thought to himself as he started to blush, thinking about being dominated by the other man if he was in fact an alpha.

i just know leorio doesn't like me, he's always talking to girls, he's just my best friend but when has he ever shared with me his deep thoughts? no... i'm just overthinking, but i can't help it, he finally reached his home and opened the door, feeling sad as he barely ate when it was dinner time, then took his nightly shower.

he laid on his bed just as every other night, but this time he started to cry as he began to realize he could never be with leorio, of course he would like girls, sure kurapika was a bit feminine but it wasn't the same since leorio knew kurapika was a male.

kurapika had ended up passing asleep and now it was morning, the blonde was feeling refreshed,and he had an idea, make leorio jealous.

kurapika always knew he had a secret admirer, he was a pretty guy no matter what, he had adorable red eyed and the cutest little smile and almost every alpha wanted to be with him but not only for his looks but how intelligent and smart he was.

but one person who was one of the most popular guys in the whole school named chrollo, wanted to be with him.

chrollo was a rich alpha, he was very popular with the men and women and he hung around with two other people; hisoka and illumi, they were a couple too.

hisoka was an alpha while illumi was an omega, but when illumi first found out what he was, he cried for a week yet he got over it when hisoka finally decided to be with him, which meant asked him out in a weird way.

focusing on the task at hand, that day at school, kurapika ignored killua and gons little voices trying to get his attention, and even leorio, who he wanted to be with so bad.

the blonde haired boy went up to chrollo and started to talk to him in a flirty voice, leorio starred in shock as his best friend traded them for some hot guy!

the last months of school went by in a blur, kurapika was hanging out with chrollo as kurapikas true friends watched from afar.

killua turned his vision to leorio and gon after seeing kurapika, "how dare he! and it's the last day of school!" gon whined as he missed his other friend. leorio just sighed, it wasn't the same without the sweet smell of sunshine, so leorio decided to approach kurapika.

"hey! kurapika!" leorio yelled as he walked towards him in the hallway, he was hanging out with chrollo and smiling, "why the hell have you been ignoring us! just because you're a smart and a pretty omega you just think you can just trade us for the popular guys!" this got everyone who was in the hallways attention, starring at them.

"leorio!" he stuttered, "no! don't you leorio me, i swear kurapika you need to set you priorities straight! i thought you hated chrollo and now you're out here flirting  and dating with him, that's it! our friendship is over!" he said as he stormed out the school, kurapikas eyes filling with tears as the bell rang, he decided he'll just talk to leorio later today.

but weirdly enough, leorio was no where to be seen, it was seven ar night and kurapika had apologized to both killua and gon, he finally woken up and realized that he shouldn't have been acting how he was.

"where could he be," he said as he looked up to the moon, which was full tonight. until he spotted something ontop of a cliff, it was definitely leorio. he could tell from the posture of the black haired man.

kurapikas eyes widened, as he ran up the hill and up to the cliff seeing leorio as he stood up on the edge. "no leorio! NO DONT DO IT! i'm sorry," he took a deep breath, "i did all that stuff to make you jealous!because i like you..." he said as he blushed, but as he slowly approached leorio he realized something was off.

"stay back..." he said in a low voice, kurapika was facing his back as the tall man hid his face. "but leorio! we need to talk about this!" it was all just a matter of time until leorio started to howl at the moon, kurapika taking a step back.

it was like a magical girl transformation, leorios clothes ripping as a tail grew and fluffy ears sticking out of his spiky hair.

leorio stared at the blonde haired man like he was a delicous meal. "LEORIO! you're a wolf!" leorio just ignored him, "kurapika.. let's remake the movie, alpha and omega," he said as he smirked and kurapika ran towards him.

leorio brought his lips to kurapikas as they shared a deep and passionate kiss in the moonlight, leorio kissing downwards and biting his neck hard, "oh leorio! i love you i'm so so so sorry! all i wanted was you," he said as leorio smiled at him.

"oh kurapika, i love you too and i'm sorry i didn't tell you earlier i was just so scared you would think i was just some weird guy!" he said happily as his tail swayed back and forth.

they both embraced eachother and walked home, having a fun and joyful night like the rest of their lives.
