finally, after years, kurapika had gotten all the eyes of the kurta and killed all the members of the phantom troupe.

he got to the place he was staying at, it was a dark lonely room. he laid down on his bed and heard a buzzing from his phone, he decided now that he was all finished he would finally answer his friends calls.

kurapika reaches to pick up the phone, "hello?" "oh my god kurapika damn you!! why haven't you picked up in forever?" leorio said over the phone, tears streaming down his phone, kurapika could tell leorio was sobbing through the phone.

after about an hour of talking on the phone, kurapika realized his phone was about to die, "sorry mister leorio, i gotta go," "no! kurapika please promise me you will call us, or me, back or why don't we hang out! me, and gon and killua! like old times" kurapika sighed, there was a lot to take in, especially how those unwanted feelings for leorio began to enter his heart.

"i'll think about it, i'm sorry!" kurapika hung up quickly. he seemed so much more stressed, even though he thought he'd feel better.

a month had passed and kurapika had finally got his life somewhat back on track, he decided it was time to see his friends again. he had chatted with all of them often as they all had a group chat. so he picked up his phone and texted in said group chat.

mrlayoreo: anyways pika what did you need?

kurapika: well i was wondering if we could all hang out again, like the old times.

greenbean: OMG YASSSS!

ilovechocorobots: oh that would be fun! we haven't seen you in forever

kurapika: yes.

greenbean: so leorio when should we all hang out :DDD

mrlayoreo: wow ok.. why don't we all hang out next friday! 😁

greenbean: YAY!

kurapika: ok.

then they all planned out the details and  decided to go to the park like they used too, kurapika laid down on his bed and put his phone down on the charger, he was starting to get nervous because he felt like things would be different, he felt like he couldn't be himself anymore

kurapika got up and got ready for the day. he put on one of his old kurta clothes instead of his suit he had been wearing after he left the last time and he also combed his blonde shiny hair, "well, this is it." he said to himself in the mirror as he left and went into the his car and drove off to the destination.

he finally made it to the park and started to walk, trying to find his group of friends until he spotted them, he felt so nervous as he walked towards them, until gon noticed him in the distance. "KURAPIKA!" he screamed as he ran up to him, giving him a big hug.

"i missed you so much! please never leave again!" the green haired boy said while rubbing against him, now killua and leorio approached the two. "wow kurapika you look the same!" killua said as he smirked when leorio went up to the blonde.

"pika! i missed you so much!" leorio crued out, then they all shared a group hug, kurapika smiled joyfully.

then they all walked to the nearest ice cream shop, killua and gon racing eachother and killua purposely bumping into gon to get a head start to make sure he won.

kurapika looked at them, feeling happy until he started to feel sad, why do i feel so..., kurapika thought to himself as leorio put his hand on his shoulder which made all his thoughts go away.

"oh come on kurapika, turn that frown upside down." leorio said to him after noticing how gloomy he looked.

kurapika looked up at him, smiling. leorios heart started to beat quickly, "thank you, leorio." "um hehe, it's no problem buddy."

they looked at eachother as they continued to walk, finally making it to the ice cream shop, noticing that killua indeed won while gon whined about him being a cheater.

after they got their ice cream, kurapika getting mint chocolate, leorio getting pecan, killua getting double chocolate, and gon getting cotton candy, they all chatted and played for a while until they l went back home.

"let's all hang out again guys!" gon said happily as everyone agreed, the day went very well and happy for everyone.

"sooo kurapika, wanna come over to my place?" leorio said, "sure i mean i guess since i have nothing else to do." and then they drove off to his place.

"wow leorio your house is so big!" "that's not the only things big," leorio said in a whisper "um what." kurapika did have amazing hearing anyways, "nothing nothing! let's go inside now shall we hehe."

he then invited kurapika into his lovely home, "want some coffee? also just make yourself at home you don't need to worry about anything," kurapika nodded and leorio went into the kitchen.

the blonde sat down on the couch and waited for leorio to come back. he was feeling weird again, sad but for no reason at all, he had such a happy day yet he couldn't get the emptiness out of him, and especially that weird feeling in his heart.

he then heard leorio come back with two cups of coffee, "i've always wanted to share coffee with someone you know? i only live by myself," the doctor said as he placed the cups down, kurapika taking it and sipping it, "wow that's really good, it tastes so expensive," leorio smiled.

they sat down and chatted for a while until leorio heard rain and thunder outside, "wow it's raining cats and dogs out there" he said, "um, what?" the blonde replied, confused. "haha, it's just a saying pika, you're so cute sometimes."

kurapika blushed, "want to stay here with me tonight, i have a spare bedroom anyways and it's usually used only for when killua and gon come and stay with me," "sure." "how about we watch a movie?" "sure." leorio smiled and turned on netflix.

they ended up watching puss and boots the last wish.

"wow that was a great movie!" leorio said as kurapika nodded, "well i'm tired now, it's still raining a lot too, but here let me show you to your room!" leorio stood up and reached his hand out for kurapika to grab, which he did.

leorio held his hand as he walked to the spare bedroom, "here! you can stay in here," he said as he opened the door and kurapika walked inside.

"my room is upstairs if you need me, oh and if you're hungry or thirsty just help yourself! oh, and if you need a shower, help yourself to any of the shampoos and body washes and lotions and-!" "leorio, thank you," kurapika said as he hugged him, leorio blushing.

his hug was tight and full of meaning which he couldn't even understand himself.

"goodnight!" leorio said shyly, kurapika looked up at him and let himself go from the hug, "goodnight leorio, sleep well."

kurapika closed the bedrooom door as leorio waved and went up to his bedroom.

the blonde laid on the bed, listening to the rain as he sighed to himself, he got up from the warm bed and put his coat on, not bothering leaving a note as he left.

"i'm sorry leorio..." he said as he left, never to be heard from again.

when leorio woke up, he was so happy as he ran down the stairs, "good morning kurapika!" he said as he opened the door of the guest bedroom, only to see it was empty as if no one has ever even stayed there.

"not again kurapika" leorio sighed, noticing kurapikas phone on the bed, now he had absolutely no way to contact him.

he cried loudly, he began to feel happy again like his life had meaning, unfortunately he knew he had to let go one day.

the sun shined brightly from the window, the rain was over but now it was time to face the cold hard truth of the world, the world that didn't have kurapika, the love of his life, in it.

maybe he should have told him his feelings sooner, but would that really change anything?
