I headed back to my room. I looked back at my stomach again. It was completely healed. No scratch mark too.
I let out a sigh. I was very happy that I made a Wolfy friend. I made my way to the bed and looked at the ceiling. After a few minutes, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
I saw groups of girls tied around in silver chains of a different colour.
In the second group which was now getting checked by a man, there was a girl with dirty blond hair and bluish-green eyes. She was looking exactly like me. She, like others in her group, was wearing a short black dress.
She looked afraid and nervous.
The first group was pushed inside a castle whilst the second group was waiting outside. A freaking castle? It seemed to be very tall. It appeared as though it was touching the sky and was moderate yet classic. I was sure this castle must have covered half of this town.
I snapped out of the trance when I heard a crashing sound. I stared at the second group which was now standing at the front in the row. The girl who was like me was thrown from her group to the wall of the castle making her whimper.
"You must listen to me, I'll do whatever I want to. You are no one to order me around. What did you say? Asking me to move aside so that you could breathe some fresh air. Really? Got some guts out of nowhere. Petty human." A man wearing I think it was guard uniform spat and walked over to her. "Tell me your name," he demanded.
"My name?" She let out a laugh. "Go stab yourself."
"How dare you defy my question?" He asked; looking livid.
"You asked something which a werewolf shouldn't ask a human. His or her name. You see, Personal rights of human," she said smugly making some laugh at the guard. The guard slapped her hard across her face. "What? didn't like that I stated the truth?" She still continued to taunt him. The guard looked as if he was ready to explode.
He ripped her from the group and dragged her to one of the empty rooms of the castle. I followed behind.
I walked past the crowd yet no one noticed me.
I then saw him pushing her on a classic bed. She fell with a wince escaping her mouth. He climbed on top of her which made me realise where it was heading to. I wanted to do something but it was as if I was not there. I yelled, screamed yet there was no change.
"Now tell me your name."
"Why should I now, when I know that you aren't going to stop whatever you're going to do?"
"Oh yeah, right." He tried kissing her on her lips. However, she kicked him in his precious family jewels. "Ow! I thought of going step by step. But I think you want to hurry up. I don't want to make love with a human though. Eww. Was I going to kiss you? Thanks for stopping me from kissing that filthy mouth of yours."
Oh my goodness! I wanted it to stop. No, I can't see this, No. She must have saved it for whoever was going to love her. My eyes started getting blurry as I wanted to help her so badly.
Before he could tear her clothes off of her body, two other guards entered.
"You're still the same as I see," said one of the guards to the guard who now got off of her. "It's time for us to represent each one of her batch to the king, now bring her to the group before he finds out what exactly was about to go down here. You do know he doesn't like anyone touching his pets."
She looked away from him and sobbed. The guard smirked, "Poor girl, missed the chance ha." With that said, he walked out. "Go join your group, human 17."
I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized she was safe now though the mental trauma is pretty much not going to leave her. I know the pain.
My heart ached for her especially because she looked like me in appearance and physique which amplified the pain.
She got out of the room, wearing a stoic face to show people that nothing had happened but her torn dress said it all.
"Ah! There she is, human 17. You came at the right time, young lady," a man said to her politely.
She was then pushed into the castle.
Curiously, I followed behind her. I gasped along with her when I stared at the interior design. It was perfect and totally distinctive with bright lights, glass windows and a huge chandelier hanging in the centre.
She was accompanied by two guards who were on either side of her. She tried to keep herself composed after what she went through but it was clear that she was distressed.
They entered a room through another expensive-looking door. It was made of fine mahogany and had leafy designs carved on it.
I entered through the door to the room behind it. When I arrived, I got a weird feeling, but I let it slide. The copy of mine was looking around, observing the feelings. When she looked straight, she stopped moving any further. I followed her gaze, I too almost stopped breathing.
Sitting there was a Xerox copy of Xanthos. He was wearing a royal outfit which consisted of a black cloak hanging from his shoulders and a long robe-like suit. I must admit it, he looked very handsome in that classic dress. His eyes held the same glow as it normally had.
The copy of Xanthos stood up from his seat. He looked shocked for some reason and made his way towards her and halted when he reached in front of her. "King Ruzzox." The guards said bowing their heads. The girl broke out of her trance when she heard them.
"What's your name, tesoro?" He asked gently. She shivered but stood her ground.
"It's against the law to tell a human's name to a werewolf, my king," she said trying to be polite.
He chuckled. "I, who imposed the laws, am asking you. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."
"Deal." She nodded her head and continued. "Amanda, my king."
"Amanda," he said. "Amanda," he mumbled it in a deeper voice than before. He nodded his head as if he was satisfied by how the name sounded from his mouth.
He noticed her staring at him expectedly.
"Leonardo, my queen." He mocked her.
"Leonardo," she told under her breath but it was audible in the silence that was all around the room. He looked down at her; amused. "You tested my name in your tongue. So I'm making sure that I pronounce your name correctly."
He gave her a mocking glare. The two guards saw the scene with surprise before the guard who stood at the right side of Amanda pulled her away from the king. "How dare you would call the king by his name?" With that, he threw her across the room. Her head hit the arm of the throne. Whimpering, she got up. I looked at the king to see his reaction. He was, of course, fuming. His eye colour changed from sparkling brown to a brighter red. Just like how Xanthos' eyes changed at school.
"I'm sorry, my king. I shouldn't have called you by your name. I don't know what I was doing, my king. I deserve punishment." She bowed down.
The king darkly chuckled. He glanced at her over his shoulder. "Your punishment is..." he gave a dramatic pause. "You'll be my qu-pet."
She and the guards looked at him in shock. "I accept your punishment, master." She said without any reluctance. The king looked pained as if calling him master was hurting him. He turned his head to look at the guard who threw her. His voice got deeper than before as he spoke. "You dare hurt my pet? You know harming what belongs to the king is not acceptable."
He then snapped the guards neck with a flick of his hand. He looked at the left guard then back to her. "Escort her to my room and what happened to your dress?" He asked glancing at her dress. "Why there is a bruise forming on your cheek?" He inquired rushing towards her.
"No-noth--" he gave her a look, telling her lying wouldn't work. "Just a few minutes ago, I almost got my um- innocence stolen away by the chief guard for defying his question and for asking him to move, master."
His eyes glazed for a moment before he turned around and said inaudible things to the guard.
"No one will dare touch you. If they will, I'll make sure they know what hell means." he said with his dark tone.
"You were, are and will always be mine, mia piccola campagna."
