"Your back has healed. However, there are only scars left," Dr.Nicola said after she examined my back. The ailment had actually made my wound to heal faster.

"How did it heal fast? You put the ailment thirty minutes ago," I inquired confused.

"Umm.. uhh... this ailment has a special chemical added in it. So, yeah your back healed fast."

What type of chemical was that though? Maybe portions?

"Ok, Can I now get discharged?"

"Sure hun, but before that, Alph-Xanthos will have to see whether you're good enough to get discharged." When she said Xanthos name I got reminded of what happened a few hours back.

"Why?"

"His signatures are there on the 'admission sheet' and in this hospital, we don't immediately discharge a person. We allow the person who has admitted the injured or sick person to decide whether he/she is in good condition."

"That's a weird rule," I muttered under my breath. However, she heard it.

"I know, dear, but we all are under one supreme control," she said before she asked a nurse to call Xanthos. I didn't want to see him. Now I understood as to why people feared him. What if he'll hurt me again? What if he started abusing me?

The door opened revealing Xanthos. I noticed Dr.Nicola bowing her head. I got up from the bed I was sitting and tilted my head down. I heard him sigh.

I lifted my head and saw him looking at me with distress in his eyes. They were pleading me for something. He stared at me whereas I just continued to look at him in fear. Not because I was scared of him, but because he might get harmed if he knew anything about my life.

"Alpha, Can she get discharged?" Dr Nicola asked him with a shaky voice.

"Bella-" I interrupted Xanthos.

"Heard you did all the check ups on me," I glared at him. "Now do you believe me?" Don't believe me, Xan. I thought unreasonably.

He intensely at me longer than needed and said, "that doesn't mean I'm entirely letting you go." I blinked in surprise. No, I want him to let this matter go.

'Bella don't-' My heart opposed me but I can't let him stay on my side for my happiness, that would be so selfish of me. 'No, I've to distance myself'

I decided.

"Who the hell are you to intrude my life huh?" I breathed heavily as I felt tears welling up. I'm being way to mean but I've no other choice.

He squinted his eyes and laughed humourlessly. "If you're trying to push me away, just be direct."

"Did my question sound indirect to you?"

"You've decided on something," he squatted beside my bed and caressed my cheeks. "I thought I'd a chance to intrude your life; to help you whenever you need but I didn't know you would feel this burdened."

I moved my face away from his warm hands before I loose myself to him. I knew he wouldn't be able to do anything even if he can use magic as my abusers... right?

"At least now you know how I feel, let me get discharged."

He stood up and turned his back towards me.

"Leave."

That one word had so much coldness that made my chest to tighten. The coldness that he never directed towards me before.

Before leaving, he said one line that made my chest to tighten more. "Remember you still have a chance to use me."

My eyes softened hearing that but I was in no plan to include him in the mess I'm in anymore. I started making my way towards the exit door.

I searched for my abusers. Where were they? My father was standing near the exit of the hospital with his arms folded. I walked towards him ever so slowly. His eyes landed on me. When he glared, I walked faster to reach him. "Follow me, bitch."

With that, he started walking at a fast pace. I followed him quietly whilst growing anxious with each step. When we reached his car, he pretended to be a gentleman for me by opening the car door. I noticed Angelo be sitting in the passenger seat with a face powder in her hands.

My father climbed the car and drove it home like a maniac. When we reached, I saw another car standing out. It looked to be new. "Oh my Nathan, our son is back with a car!" She said excitedly. However, my father was feigning enthusiasm. I knew he was planning ways to hurt me. I opened my door and stepped out in the chilly atmosphere.

"Come." I heard my father tell me. I ran and caught up with him. When I entered the house, I saw Lewis sitting on the black couch with a grin plastered on his face while reading some magazine.

When I stepped near him causing him to get up and moved away from me and looked at me as if I'm newly found bacteria.

"You're an attention seeker, I see. Wow, Belwhore! Just great. Why did you get a sudden interest in gaining attention? Because you thought you're worth it? No, you aren't."

With that, he sat back down on the couch and continued what he was doing before. Tears blurred my vision. I didn't fall unconscious just to gain some attention to me.

I waddled my way to where I saw my father disappear, Where I entered was dark. The door closed behind me making me feel terrified. I searched for any source for light but ended up empty-handed. What has he planned this time? I turned towards the exit door, however, the light flickered on. I saw it was looking like the basement I had at my old house. There was a table set at the corner with various types of whips. I look at them in shock. No, not again! Fear started to consume my thoughts and mind. I prayed and wished what I was seeing wasn't real.

"Oh no! Please no! Not the whips again," I pleaded to my father. Tears were rolling freely from my eyes. A slow malicious grin appeared on his face. He was surely enjoying my pleas.

"Oh yes. Now be a good girl and stand here." I shook my head. "I said stand her!" This time, I obeyed him and stood against the pole. He tied my hands tightly, too tightly to the pole. I looked at him through my peripheral vision. He looked at the whips for a while.

"Okay, since you're an attention seeker, let me use the leather whip." I looked at it in horror. "You'll not cry or shout if it pains. I know you're weak but I don't want to hear any screams. Understood?"

How can I do that? I shook my head.

I leaned my forehead against the pole. Something jerked me from behind. I bit my lip hard. I knew if I released a scream he would beat me to death. I could feel the spikes on the whip tearing my healed back. I screamed when I got an even harder one. Whipping sound echoed around the room. "You're seriously weak and naive, aren't you?" He let out a dark chuckle before continuing his harassment.

The door swung open. "Dad." I heard Lewis voice. Hope-filled in me.

"Lewis please help me, save me," I screamed out my question as my father continued to whip my back.

"Oh, hun! Did you think I'll help an attention seeker like you? You're an eccentric person. What would I get if I help you, Belwhore?." He too believed I was eccentric.

The whipping continued. I could feel my body losing its blood. I was glad that the hospital provided me with glucose for energy. After thirty-fifth whip, he stopped and released me from the pole that I was tied against. I fell to the ground with a thud. My dress was torn at the back and it hurt. I noticed he was looking at me as if I was some masterpiece, with a proud look on his face.

"Come out bitch, I think you learnt your lesson." With that, he went out of the room along with Lewis, who didn't even glance back at me once. I tried to get up from the ground but I couldn't. So, I did the only best thing right now, I crawled back to my room.

I stood up from the floor with the help of my door's handle. I used it as my support and stood up. I fell to the ground after I closed my door.

I breathed heavily. I can't take this pain! I wanted someone to treat me. I knew it was not possible because no one was there to help. I tried to crawl to my closet where I kept a few old bandages. I winced in pain as I felt blood pouring out of my flesh.

I normally used to lose my conscious and the next day I would be in the hospital.

This time I didn't faint.

As I was struggling to cope up with my back, I heard a loud growl. I was shocked to see with who was standing outside my window.
