Math class. Gross. That was my first class of the day. What a horrible way to start off a day.
Our teacher was explaining something to the class. I wasn't paying attention, because just a few desks in front of me was Leo Valdez, Aka my crush.
I never really interacted with him, but my friends talked to him occasionally. And I had a crush on him.

"-does anyone tell me what 476 divided by 7 is?" Mrs. Garber asked.

Silence. "No one?"

A boy, Dylan, raised his hand.
"No," my teacher said. "I want an eighth grader to answer this question."

Silence again.

"Piper?" The teacher pointed in her direction.
Piper jolted awake.
"Oh my lord." Mrs. Garber shook her head.
"No one? None of the eighth graders want to answer."

Jason then raised his hand. "67?"
"No! Wrong!" Mrs. Garber started raising her voice. And I think that's when my eyesight got blurry, my breathing got faster, all sounds started to slow.
She's mad. She's mad. She's mad at me.

Tears pricked my eyes. Annabeth, who is my desk buddy, grabbed my hand. "Ar....ou....ka..?"

"W-what?"

Leo raise his hand "68?"

"Finally! Maybe your not all stupid!" Mrs. Garber yelled.
I choked up, I started coughing uncontrollably.
"Y/n, breath." Annabeth squeezed my hand.
Everyone was staring at me.

Oh my gods.

I was going to die. During math.

"What's going on, y/n" Mrs Garber demanded.

I sobbed uncontrollably. I couldn't breath. Everything was so loud.
I clutched my chest in pain.

In all the commotion Piper had woke again. She rushed over to me, pulled me out of the seat and laid me on the floor.

The students started to gather around me, but Annabeth pushed them away. "Give her space, give her space!"

Percy went to my seat. "Permission to go through your bag?" All I did was cough, and Percy took that as a yes. He rummaged through my bag looking for my inhaler.

Leo was by my head at this point. He grabbed my hand. "Your okay." He stroke my hair with his free hand. "It's all okay."

"Should I call an ambulance?" Mrs Garber pulled out her phone.

"Don't! Don't call. Don't call" I sobbed.

"Shh y/n it's okay." Leo caressed my face. He squeezed my hand in a pattern. One he does all the time, one I memorized.
I squeezed his hand back. "It's okay"

Percy came back with my inhaler Annabeth and Leo propped me up. Percy held the inhaler to my mouth and puffed it.
I layed in the ground for a moment. everyone but Annabeth Percy and Leo went back to their seats.

"Mrs. L/n, i called your parent." Mrs. Garber said. "She'll be here soon. Leo do you want to wait with her out in the hall?"
Leo nodded.
After I had calmed down Leo helped me to the hallway. We sat on a bench outside the principals office.

Leo hadn't let go of my hand since we had left the class, I blushed harder than I already was.

My eyes lids felt like lead. I leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes. My head unintentionally slipped to the side, right on top of Leo's.

And that was the last thing I remembered. Falling asleep on Leo.

*pterodactyl screeches*

So yea that's the story of my awful life. I ofc changed the story up to be more ✨dramatic✨ my crush did not come up to me and I was just sent home.🤠
