I tied an apron around my waist as I got ready for my shift at my parents coffee shop.
I made my way to the cash register and tapped Tabatha in the shoulder, telling her it was now my shift. She put a hand on my shoulder and gave a look that said 'good luck'. I sighed as an order of coffee was set at the 'pick up' station.

"An order for... Karen." Piper called suppressing a laugh.

'Karen' stomped to the counter, picked up her order to inspect it. She glared at me.
"The coffee here is to expensive, and it isn't even good."

I hummed. "Yet you still come everyday."

"I'm giving you a bad review!" She called as she stomped through the door, past a short latino boy who held the door for her.
Piper and I gave each other an annoyed look regarding the Karen.

The Latino boy came to the counter and leaned against it.
"Hello how can I help you today." I smiled.

He hummed, "how bout you give me your number."
A little taken back I just stared.
"And a black coffee too." He added on.

"You don't drink coffee, Leo" Piper rolled her eyes.

"I'm trying something new today, Piper."

"Uhm okay, is that all?" I asked.

He looked around the counter. "And this cookie too."

"Okay, would you-" I started but was soon cutoff

"Do you need my number?"

"Uh yes, if you would like a receipt-"

"Perfect. I would like a receipt." He winked at me.
He grabbed his cookie and stood by the 'pick up' station.
I sighed. "You don't have to stand there, take a seat. I'll call you-"

"Oh perfect! You call me about our date!"
He gave me a mischievous grin. "Where should we go?"

I hummed "maybe take me to your place? Tonight."
That definitely took Leo back. He blushed hard, and took his cookie to a seat in a corner.

A moment passed when Leo's coffee was ready.
I took the cup from piper and grabbed a napkin.
"Leo, your order is ready."

He came up, grabbed his drink and left just as quick.
But on his way out he saw the napkin, with my number on it.
He looked back at me and I winked.

                           Coffee Shop Girl

                                                                    Leo: hi

Y/N: Leo?
            
                                             Leo: that's my name
       Leo: Oh.. I also DO NOT like black coffee
                                                         Leo: To bitter

Y/N: Figured, you don't look like a black coffee person
Y/N: Have you tried tea? Or coffee with cream and sugar?

                                         Leo: You guys sell tea??

Y/N: yeah

                                           Leo: Aw man i love tea
                Leo: I thought you were a coffee shop

Y/N: our main this is coffee
Y/N: but we also sell tea

                                               Leo: that's confusing
                Leo: it should be a coffee and tea shop
                                                       Leo: oh my gods
            Leo: you and I should open one of those
                                     Leo: when we get married
               Leo: a coffee and tea/auto repair shop

Y/N: wtf????

               Leo: how cute would it be to have our kids running around while you sell coffee and I build/fix stuff??

Y/N: I just met you like 6 hours ago.

                            Leo: and you already fell for me
