Chapter 6

Error, Ink, and Horror set out on their search for the small boney dragons. Horror volunteered to search on the left side of the road, while Ink and Error searched to the right. Why didn't Error search alone? He simply hadn't been there before, and didn't want to get lost. Why didn't Error insist to go with Horror? Well, while he was no longer as uncomfortable around the monster, he didn't know him too well. Not to imply that he still didn't trust Horror, he was just still slightly uncomfortable around him.

He didn't know Ink really well, but he knew him well enough to know he wouldn't hurt him. He'd probably give him a head ache, sure, but he doubted with how worried Ink was that he'd be too talkative. Besides, he wanted to make fun of Ink a bit more.

"Looks like something trampled through the brush this way." Ink said pointing to a tangle of weeds and bushes that lead to the woods along the side of the road.

"You sure, it could have just been a path made by deer," Error commented, as Ink trampled through the brush into the woods. "-and you don't care." Error said exasperatedly, following Ink into the woods.

They walked in silence looking around for about 20 minutes before Error decided to make conversation.

"So, you really didn't make that order?" Error asked, he wasn't really interested in the topic he was bringing up, but he though talking might calm Ink slightly. Not that he cared about Ink or anything.

"No, but I think now, that someone made it for me. After what happened today I mean." Ink said heaving an annoyed sign -that for once didn't seem to be directed at Error- before yelling his dragons name. Error slightly chuckled hearing the dragons names again gaining Ink's attention again.

"Yeah, yeah laugh it up." Ink said slightly embarrassed from the reminder of his silly named dragons.

"So, you never answered my question." Error reminded.

Ink scoffed remembering Error's question to why his dragons were named in such a way. Ink sighed looking off into the distance deciding his response, or even if he would respond. It wasn't any of Error's business anyway. As Ink was sorting through his thoughts in his skull the dragons rushed past Ink and Error to their left, with a stumbling obviously exhausted Horror chasing after them. Seeing this Ink and Error started running after them. Horror was too tired to continue in his pursuit and slowed down to allow Ink and Error to chase them, and followed after them in a walk, wanting to regain his lost air after sprinting after them for so long.

Ink and Error ran after the small fast and agile dragons, jumping over roots and sprinting through thorny brambles as fast as they could. They chased them through the brush, and tried their best to keep up with them, a few times losing them only to see a blur of white in the distance. Eventually, the small blasters grew tired and slowed down. Awarding both Ink and Error a chance at catching them.

Finally, Error had them cornered, Ink was still quite a ways back, trying his best to catch up to Error, so instead Errors ally; a fence on the complete other side of the woods -perhaps some fence from a house not far from where he was, he and Ink had traveled quite a long way after all-. The skeletal dragons panted, along with Error, their energy was spent.
