There is a hidden town very deep in the mountain. In this small town once you enter you wouldn't ever want to leave. This town is paradise on earth. You don't get sick; everyone is happy because any wish you want will evidently come true. This town is like how you feel when you are really high on drugs that give you sweet fantasies, yet, in this case those fantasies aren't just imaginations they are real to the bone.

However, the town has a secret; a very dark secret that mostly only the oldest living in that town is aware of it.

The world is made to have a ying and a yang; a black and white side; a good and a bad side to everything. Therefore to live in such paradise of a town you must make one sacrifice of a male child at a certain age of 12.

This boy is then locked up in a hidden room underneath the entire town underground, and he will then be tortured every day, left to suffer in pain and agony. The more pain and grieve the child suffers the better, longer and deeper the town will continue to prosper and everyone living in the town will get to enjoy all their wishes coming true and be happy living in paradise. Everyone else will be happy except the boy locked in a dungeon deep in the dark full of suffering upon suffering.

Jimin's parents were very afraid of having a male boy at first just like most families who becomes aware of the town's horrid secret. But as luck will have it they gave birth to Jimin. The boy grew to be very lovable, adorable and kind that they couldn't bear the thought of seeing their lovely boy taken from them to suffer an eternity of pain, loneliness and punishments. Now all they can do is to pray that the current sacrificial lamb will live long enough so that their son Jimin will pass the age to be chosen to be the next sacrifice for their town.

They were so afraid of that happening so they kept him hidden away from the people of their town. They kept him where they could keep an eye on him as if he is on house arrest.
