It's been eighteen years, two months and five days since Leila's parents disowned her.

That didn't stop her from becoming the woman she is now, the one who never lets anything break her; not again.

She was just a baby when her mother with the help of her father  left her at the outskirt of their pack for death to fetch her, her parents left her a note explaining how they're sorry that they couldn't keep her, they also wrote in the letter that she's from a werewolf family and she should never forget that they do love her but circumstances has to keep them apart. Her birth mother had folded the neatly written letter into two and hid it in a hidden compartment in her locket.

Her father tied the locket to her neck which has her name and her parents' photo in it.

Later that night, an old couple who were passing by heard a baby's cry, they traced the wails which led them to the woods. Their first instinct was to call the cops and their second instinct was to keep the child since they have no child of their own. Eventually, their second instinct won over the former and they decided to keep the baby for themselves.

Martha and Christian Harrison are one lonely human couple, for several years now, they've been trying for a child but nothing came out of it. Imagine the joy they felt when they saw a child they could call theirs.

Years passed by after that fateful incident, the Harrisons never made Leila feel like she wasn't theirs. They respected her privacy enough to not check what was inside the locket that was strapped around her neck, they loved her like she was theirs by blood.
