So, this is completely AU and from my own brain. I wanted to write a story that had a plot all it's own. I hope you all enjoy this little story.

I don't actually think Legolas' biological mother is dead. Tolkien has never indicated such. She isn't mentioned, but that doesn't mean she's dead. But it's good for this plot so...
