Backstory: Candace came from a wealthy family, but has a younger brother who is spoiled rotten, but cares about him. She met Luke and started a relationship with him. One day, Candace has discovered that she is pregnant with Luke's child and plans to tell him. She came across Scott yelling at Adina and came to her defence where Scott reveals that Adina has ice powers and threatens to tell the town about her, even going too far by calling Adina a "monster". Enraged, Adina shoots her powers, but Scott used Candace as a shield and the ice shot in her heart and froze to death, much to Adina's horror and Scott ran away like a coward.
