Ninjago city. A few weeks later,

"Lloyd,you have to take it easy."
Koko said,helping her son walk out of the hospital. Lloyd held his stomach tightly as he took slow,shaky breaths. Some make him groan in pain and flinch as he held his bandaged stomach.

Lloyd had been in the hospital for 2 weeks due to his injury. The blade that the generals used on him injured his arms,chest,and stomach badly. His stomach had been cut opened deeply,making blood pour out.
The doctors said that Lloyd lost a lot of blood but he'll be alright. He just needed to rest for awhile.

Since Lloyd had saved Ninjago many times,the doctors lowered the price on the hospital bills so Koko and Lloyd thought that it was nice of them.

If it wasn't for Chen saving Lloyd,Lloyd could of been dead.

Lloyd kind of questioned. Why would Chen try so hard to save him? Just because he was on the ground,that didn't mean he saw Chen swing his sword at the generals. Lloyd didn't see Chen look that furious or try to hard in his life. Even when Chen made his look at the end of the 'Boo Lloyd' chant.

"I know,mom." Lloyd said "I'm fine. I can move just fine,I just feel a bit of pain if I bend it, stretch or take breaths too deep." Said the blonde,holding a hand to his chest. Koko frowned and wrapped an arm around her son "The pain should go away in a week. The doctors said that it could go away faster if you wear your air mask while you sleep." Lloyd nodded.

"Hey,didn't dad say he'd meet-"

"Lu-Lloyd!"

Lloyd and Koko gasped as they turned their heads around in surprise to see Garmadon rushing toward them. As soon as the dark (no longer) Lord,got to them,he immediately hugged Lloyd tightly with all four arms again and lifting him up again.

The pressure of the hug was hard against Lloyd's injuries and tears stung in Lloyd's eyes with dad "Dad,please!" Lloyd said,usually he would just say it in a gasp but the pain from the cuts made it 10 times painful "You're hurting me! I can't breath!"

"Sorry!" Garmadon apologized as he set Lloyd back down and Lloyd tried taking slow breaths but was ending up gasping for breath. Feeling tiny jolts of pain through each breath "Just worried about my only son!"

Lloyd looked at him "You were actually worried about me?..." he said as a small smile started to form on his face "Y-Yeah...I guess I was..." Garmadon said as he smile too.

Koko smiled widely and hugged her two boys but not tightly on Lloyd "It brings me happiness to see my two boys back together!"

Both smiled at Koko before Lloyd and Garmadon smiled at each other. Soon,the two gave into the hug. Wrapping their arms around on another,having a family hug and enjoying the moment.

Garmadon felt warm fire fill his eyes of happiness but wiped them away.

A few days later,
Lloyd got his stuff from his locker. His shadow showing from the setting sun on his light yellow locker. He had to stay after school for football practice while the cheerleaders practiced too. Also practicing for their cants during the game. While the cheerleaders weren't practicing,Lloyd could look over to see Chen cheering for him. Witch would grow his sprit from being injured and make him smile.

The football couch did let Lloyd skip due to his injuries but Lloyd refused and stayed. He did have s few struggles on catching his breath after running but was able to fight it through. His pain was starting to go away faster than he expected witch was good news for him. He was starting to get tired of wearing that breathing mask as he slept but he knew his mom said that it would help him.

Before Lloyd turned around and going for the direction of the door,he noticed another shadow approaching him. He would have panicked,thinking that it was one of his bullies to beat him up or the shadow of his father but then remembered that it was in the past.

Lloyd turned around to see Chen and his 2 other cheerleader friends, Trinity and Samantha approaching him.

Lloyd smiled at them and Chen smiled back "Hey, Lloyd. Wanna hear our new cheer?" Asked the male cheerleader, smiling a bit more "Um, sure."

Chen gave Samantha and Trinity a nod before they started their chant.
"L-L-O-Y-D, Ninjago is great and so is he! Go, Lloyd!" They clapped two times "Go, Lloyd!"
"Go Lloyd!" Chen finished it off.

Lloyd smiled widely "Great chant!" He smiled more.
Chen couldn't help but blush seeing Lloyd's smile "I'll meet up with y'all later." Chen said to Trinity and Samantha. They waved their pom pomes as a wave goodbye "Alright. See you later." Said Samantha before they left.

"Hey,Garmador-I mean green ninja-I mean Lloyd!" Chen said nervously as his pink blushing cheeks turned red and looking nervously as if he was talking to a crush. But unknown to Lloyd,he was the one Chen wanted. More than anyone.

Lloyd chuckled a bit as he blushed a little bit then pulled his hair behind his ear "Hey, Chen." He said "Shouldn't you be heading home now?" Asked Lloyd but Chen shook his head "My parents are out eating tonight so I won't have to worry about them yelling at me if I'm home late."

Lloyd couldn't help but chuckle a bit "My mom gets worried as hell if I'm home late. Once I was late on getting home from 10 minuets. 10 minuets! And she was about to call the police that I was kidnapped or missing." The two teenagers couldn't help but laugh at it.

"Yeah. You're mom sounds like she gets worried a lot about you." Said the cheerleader with the pink Pom Poms in his hands. Lloyd nodded in agreement then sighed "Again,Chen. I'm sorry about what happened to your jacket and that your mom had to spend 20 dollars to buy you a new one."

"Hey,it's alright." Chen gave Lloyd a comforting smile "You needed it more than I did. I'd rather be grounded for 5 years than see you badly injured."

Lloyd smiled about what Chen said "T-Thanks." He said,rubbing his arm and his eye looking at the white,shining floor. Why did he feel something toward Chen? Not hate. Not disgust.
He loved hearing his voice and when Chen was holding him while he went to find help,he wanted to last for a long time. And even when Lloyd first woke up in the hospital,Chen immediately held him as tight as he could. Lloyd enjoyed it but only seconds later,Chen had to pull away after Lloyd couldn't breath.

Did he have feeling for Chen? No! He couldn't! Chen liked somebody else. Just then,Lloyd was trying to take a second to except that. What was he thinking? Chen could never like him like that.

"I've gotta go home now." Lloyd said before turning his body to the exit of the high school. Chen couldn't have any time to stop him or say a word before the slam of the exit door was herd.

Chen sighed disappointedly and started walking away. Why can't he just tell Lloyd how he feels?! Sure,Lloyd excepts him for being a homosexual but was Lloyd one himself? If he wasn't,would their friendship toward each other be ruined?

Chen wasn't wanting to find out right now as thoughts raced through his mind and the room started spinning.
He stumbled a bit but Lloyd helped the cheerleader catch himself "Chen are you alright?!" Lloyd asked worried.

Chen shook his head,his mind focusing on what was happening right now "I...I have to go!" The only thing Lloyd saw was Chen's face blushing red before running as fast as his feet could take them to the exit.

Lloyd watched Chen run off until he saw him run out the door. He raised his eyebrow before closing his locker. What was that about? This was like the 10th time this had happened! 

As the green teenager walked through the hallway slowly,he began to re-think about what Zane said to him at lunch a few weeks ago.

Did Chen have a crush on him?

"Tomorrow, Chen and I are gunna have a talk."
