A/N: so this one was requested by Aura-the-Fox they said surprise them so hope this fluffy little oneshot will do! this all takes place after season 3 so no real spoilers as its all made up fluff but honestly anything to do with Nezha is a little S3 spoiler but not by much anyway enjoy!

Plot: reader is trying to nail down their fire abilities but can't seem to keep a flame going for long, Nezha helps them figure out why.

you let out another frustrated huff as you sit on the stairs of Nezha's temple, you had been sat here trying to get a pink flame to ignite in your palm for a few hours now and it had not stuck, you were beginning to get more frustrated as time went on but you were about ready to give up and give into throwing in the towel for the day on training, you were suppose to be training with Nezha but after the events with Wukong and the LBD he seemed to be more focussed on recovering and had been in a meditative state for the past few days, you know he does it not just to recover but also to protect the temple, the only thing left he has to protect after Wukong's antics, but he did also promise to help you, he was the one training you but... you sigh in frustration, the past few weeks had been a mess you had to be more patient but how could you be with everything that had happend! it was just to much stress for one person to handle, not that you would admit that you were indeed stressed.

getting up off the stairs you were going to head back to the training grounds and maybe try to do some practice with your weapons when you saw it, a pink glowing lotus petal drifting by, Nezha seemed to create these when he meditated but you'd never seen him in his meditative state before, curiosity getting to you, you slowly wonder up the stairs and into his temple, lotus ponds were along the sides of the room and even the walls had lotus designs on them making you smile, he is the third lotus prince after all, you turn your head to see Nezha in the middle of the room a pink glow emanating from him as he meditates, the pink petals seem to be increased in number now that you've gotten closer, you take a seat in front of him and put yourself into the same pose, maybe you can meditate with him it wouldn't hurt to do so as you still had to wait anyways for him to do any form of proper training so why not join him? well that's what you thought as you sat there and tried to sit properly only to get into a bit of trouble with your own legs and got stuck.

it had only been a few minutes before you notice Nezha open his eyes and look down at you with a confused look "um... I uh I got stuck trying to copy you" you mutter out a blush dusting your cheeks red "oh? and why were you trying to copy me?" Nezha asks as he moves to stand up "oh uh I uh thought maybe I could meditate with you while I waited to continue training with you..." you say your face continuing to get darker with embarrassment, Nezha lets out a rare soft chuckle before moving to help you out of your small predicament "well I appreciate your patients y/n but I think you need to work on your habit of acting before you think" he hums out "but as for training did I not instruct you to work on your fire?" Nezha asks making you look away with now frustration and embarrassment "yes but... I'm having trouble with it, I can't seem to get my fire to stay consistent!" you explain your frustration apparent in your voice "hmm, show me?" Nezha asks and as instructed you hold out your hands and focus on willing a small flame to sit in the palm of your hand, a small spark of pink fire blooms in your hands and stays flickering like a wet candle before smothering out completely, you pout at you hands before looking up to Nezha for answers "hmm well your fire is one with your emotions, you have to keep yourself calm but determined for the flame to stay at it's brightest which leads me to ask, what is wrong my little apprentice?" Nezha says as he places a hand on your head, a comforting gesture he picked up from his own mentor "I... uh nothing is wrong! I'm fine I swear! maybe it's just my frustration! yeah!" you say quickly, you don't need to worry your mentor right now, he sill needs to recover from LBD! Nezha lets out a hum before gesturing to follow him, you follow Nezha through his temple and towards the gardens behind the temple, you had never been back here much less inside the temple at all as your training normally took place far from it so it was quite the honour to be here! you took the time to marvel at the elaborate water garden and all of the lotus flowers and even some other pink flowers you'd never seen before, this place was breath taking, turning to look forward you saw Nezha had lead you both to the middle of the garden where a platform sat for meditation and reflection.

Nezha turned to you and motioned you to stand next to him before he moved you to sit in the correct way for meditation and then sitting himself across from you "I know you are stressed" Nezha states making you look away from him with an embarrassed look "but there is nothing to be ashamed of, the past few weeks have been chaotic to say the least and not only that but i have been absent for that time as well making your training harder to complete" Nezha continues making you turn to look at him again with now a sad pout "you always seem to know when I'm upset" you mumble "you are terrible at hiding your feelings" Nezha hums out making you pout more "now I'm going to teach you how to meditate to help calm yourself and so you can better control your feelings" Nezha says "then maybe I can control my fire better?" you ask "that will still take time, but we'll take thing one step at a time, you don't have to learn things all at once" Nezha says with another rare smile from him "you 'll always have me to look after you y/n don't forget that" Nezha says ruffling your hair "thank you Nezha" you smile a small blush tinting you cheeks before siting up properly "let's get to meditating then?" you grin as Nezha nods "indeed" he hums out, the two of you spend the rest of the day meditating in the temples garden enjoy each others company as well as letting all of the previous days stress washes off your shoulders.

hello! I hope you all liked this oneshot! I did try and draw the reader's little failed attempt at meditating with Nezha but at some point I might make a little drawing key for what hair/head type per readers gender! besides that I hope you all liked this and see you all in the next request bye!
