Plot: MK and Reader are secretly dating but what happens when a overprotective brother and a even more over protective mentor find out?!

you let out a soft sigh as you watch your brother work on some of his bull clones ranting about his latest defeat by MK and Mei, he had tried to take some kind of device from a lab saying it would aid in the defeat of 'noodle boy' and so on and so forth, you had told him it wouldn't turn out to well but yet again he didn't listen "y/n are you listening!?" Redson calls out "nope" you smirk as his hair lights ablaze with anger as he began to yell at you about how you weren't listening, ironic because you stopped listening again busy thinking of said Noodle boy he was ranting about not to long ago.

MK had met you on accident about a month ago, a bit after Redson had tried to take over the weather station, MK had been doing deliveries when he found you getting harassed by Yin and Jin, the two had gotten the bright idea to try and use you for one of their plans but that sadly back fired when MK came to save you and that you had also blasted the two across the street with water, MK had much to your shock began to gush over you and your powers, from then on you had been sneaking out to meet up and hang out with MK and go on little adventures, it was on one of these adventures when MK had clumsily confessed he had a crush on you and the two of you had been secretly dating since.

focusing back into your brothers  rant you notice that Redson was now looking more concerned "y/n what has been going on with you? you've been more and more distracted lately" Redson asks with a concerned look "hmm? oh I'm fine I've just had a lot on my mind you know? with father back we've been very busy" you say looking at the wall "right, we have been a lot more busy" Redson nods "well I'm off, I'll be back for dinner tonight!" you say as you head off.

Redson stairs at where you were with one thought 'y/n is hiding something' before he begins to silently follow his sister to see where she was going.

you had run off to meet up with MK in the markets, you both had plans to have a date, it was planed that you both would have a little picnic but the items for the picnic where to be grabbed and had to be to a theme, you and MK chose to make the theme about each other so you had to get a drink the other likes, a snack that the other likes, a meal the other likes and a item that made you think of the other, you were more then excited to do this as was MK and had been talking about it for a few days now so when you saw him off in the distance waiting by one of the shops you couldn't help but run over and tackle him into a hug "MK! how are you this fine day love!" you say as a smile spreads to MK's face "y/n! I'm good! are you ready for our date??" Mk says still holding you close "of course!" you smile, the two of you then begin your little quest for items completely unaware of the two following them.

Sun Wukong had been noticing that MK was a lot more distracted then normal so you can imagine his surprise when he finds his apprentice with a girl, not only that but that girl being followed by Redson, Sun Wukong after asking Redson what was happening the two came to an agreement to follow MK and y/n to get to the bottom of what is going on.

you and MK had fun running around the market picking up items and even getting up to some mischief as you both meet up again to head to the park you could swear you saw your brother in the crowd "hey MK did you see Redson in the crowd?" you ask "no? why do you ask?" MK replies looking at you worriedly "i thought i saw him... maybe I'm just seeing things" you smile and MK smiles back "yeah, but if you think you saw him we could try and see if we could lose him?" MK says, you hum and hug MK "I'm sure it's fine but i can also teleport us to the park" you say, MK's eyes light up with excitement "you can teleport!?" MK says as he starts to slightly bounce on the spot making you giggle "yes, you've seen my brother do it before remember MK?" you smile at him "oh right! well let's go then!" he cheers, you let out a soft laugh at his enthusiasm and teleport the two of you to the park.

you date with MK goes well as you both enjoy the warm afternoon at the park, the little challenge went well, MK had gotten you [fave drink], [fave snack], [fave meal] and a teal axolotl plush which he said the small water salamander reminded him of you and your water based powers which you had thought was cute, you had gotten MK a cheese tea, peach chips, a bowl of noodles (not as good as Pigsy's but still good) and a monkey plush as it reminded you of your monkey man, MK loved it and the two of you spent the rest of the afternoon eating and talking about anything and everything when it was interrupted by two people clearing their throats, you and MK turn to see Redson and Sun Wukong standing behind you both with stern looks "y/n what is going on here?" Redson asks "yeah what's going on kid" Monkey king follows up, you and MK look at each other, MK's face held worry and concern while yours looks worried and panicked, what would you both say? how would your brother react!? how would the monkey king react?!?! you were scared and MK could clearly see it "me and y/n are on a date!" MK says while grabbing your hand with a determined look, MK's hand gently squeezes yours as you both watch Redson's stern look turns to a glair while monkey king just raises an eyebrow at the two of you "you're WHAT!?" Redson yells "y/n how could you go on a date with, with the enemy!?" Redson growls out his hair lighting aflame "i... uh" you stammer out as tears starts to brim at the corners of your eyes "you what!? you know he is the enemy and what his mentor has done to our family! to our father!" Redson yells at you but goes silent when he sees a tear or two escape your eyes "Redson, please don't yell at your sister, we've been dating for a while now and i wont lie, i love your sister!" MK says moving to stand between you and Redson "so! you, you are" Redson starts only to be cut off by Wukong "are you both happy together?" Wukong asks "yes!" you say from your spot on the ground "never been more happy then with y/n" MK says with a smile "then I'm cool with it" Wukong says before turning to leave "what do you mean your cool with this!? we are enemies!" Redson yells at the grate sage "eh it's their love life, not my place to say who the kids can and can't love" Wukong says before he leaves to go back to flower fruit mountain, Redson lets out a huff before he turns back to you and MK "if you hurt my sister Noodle boy I'll burn you to ash!" Redson threatens before leaving in a flourish of fire, you sigh and you turn to MK "Redson is going to tell our parents about this" you mumble with a huff "that's going to be an interesting conversation then" MK laughs "yeah, wonder what you should wear to meet my parents hmm" you giggle as MK shudders "yeah that's going to be a fun meeting huh?" MK laughs a bit "maybe i could rent a suit?" MK grins "i think you'd look cute in a suit but I'd rather you be yourself when you meet my parent's uh properly that is" you say as MK sits back down next to you and gives you a kiss on the cheek "yeah i think you're right" MK hums as you blush and cuddle up next to MK "i love you MK" you say making MK grin and blush "i love you too y/n" Mk replies and gives you another kiss.
