Plot: Macaque finds one of MK's friends after his shadow play, they have a chat.

-your POV-

you sigh as you and the team take seat in the theatre for a shadow play that Pigsy and Tang found a flier for, you had only recently joined this little team of friends thanks to your friend Sandy, you honestly wanted to be on Sandy's boat helping him out with things but Mei and MK's puppy eyes won you over and now here you are waiting for the play to start "I'm so excited! i haven't been to the movies in ages!" MK cheers "ah kid this ain't a cinema" Pigsy says "it's a shadow play, with puppets" Tang adds on, MK stairs bewildered at the two "wha? puppets? no! i thought we were seeing kung fu monkey cop the movie!" MK whines as he holds up a poster "uh check the back" Mei says, MK looks over the poster with a disappointed pout "to be honest i thought we were here for some kind of play but hey shadow plays are cool to" you say only to be ignored as MK takes note of who else was in the theatre at the time, Mei, MK and Tang soon turn back to topic when Pigsy comments "point is what ever we are watching you've earned a brake kid" Pigsy says with a smile "you have been training super hard! i can't even remember the last time we all just hung out together!" Mei says before letting out a sigh "I've missed this" Mei adds as she leans back into the seat "yeah has been a while since we've all just relaxed, honestly i think you've earned a brake MK!" you smile and pat MK on the shoulder, Mk grins at you before turning back to the others "so was Sandy just busy or?" Tang asks "he's got work to do, i wanted to stay back and help him honestly" you explain to Tang who nods as Mei and MK have a playful argument over him being busy and soon Tang joins into the argument too "alright, alright i get it! it's just Monkey king said..." MK says trailing off a bit as you and the rest of the team look at him worriedly "i just i need to be ready" MK finally says "ready for what?" Pigsy asks only to be cut off by Tang as the lights in the room fade "it's starting!" Tang says shooshing everyone, as the shadow puppeteer starts MK starts to fidget "Mei i just relised something!" MK says making you and Mei look at him "what? what is it?" Mei asks "yeah?" you mumble after her "i don't have any snacks!" MK cries you snickers and stand up "let's go grab some MK! my treat!" you grin and MK smiles happily at you before running off "he literally just ate though!" Pigsy huffs "i know but it makes him happy so chill Pigsy" you smile as you slowly make your way out of the theatre to the snack vendor with MK.

as Mk orders his food you stand next to him and look at the snack board wondering what to get yourself when MK suddenly rushes off "MK? you mumble in confusion before you could question it the concession guy came back with MK's snacks and turns to you "what would you like miss" the guy asks "uh just some popcorn and [insert fave snack here] and a [insert fave fizzy and our bottled beverage here]" you ask, the guy nods and comes back with your snacks just as MK comes back, you pay and the two of you head back to the theatre MK making a lot of noise as he goes "Sorry, Sorry, Sorry" MK chants as he makes his way through the door "where's that step?" MK asks before he stumbles down the steps "a little to the left i think" you mumble with a small snicker, Mk rushes to the seats just as the lights dim again "ha ha! got back just in time!" MK cheers as you move to sit back in your seat you notice the others are gone "er where are the others?" you mumble but soon get distracted by the shadow puppeteer as they begin their play.

after the play MK kind ran off leaving you behind at the theatre "and once again left behind, thanks MK" you huff as you begin to leave you hear a chuckle "friend ditch yah after the play?" the puppeteer asks as he walks up the steps "yeah, kinda use to it though" you sigh "i really liked the play though! i uh i could really relate to the worrier" you say making the puppeteer look up in surprise "really? I'll take that as a complement, a tale tell sign of a good story" the puppeteer says with a smirk "yeah, what ever happend to them, the warrior? I'm hopeful they got their own happy ending, even if they never got remembered by their friend but... stories don't always seem to end happily for the side characters do they?" you say, the puppeteer hums before sitting down next to you "well no, the warrior didn't get a happy end, they were defeated by their friend... but you know your story doesn't have to be the same kid" the puppeteer says "you think? i mean I'm pretty much left in the wing most of the time, i mean I'm just as strong as the rest of my friends and even know a lot of fighting techniques, i trained for years to be strong and they just... leave me behind" you sigh "sorry to uh... go unloading all that onto you... you probably didn't want to hear all that" you say rubbing the back for your neck "not at all! your fine kid..." the puppeteer hums "you know i think if the warrior was here he'd tell you to keep trying... who knows maybe your friends will realise what their missing soon enough" the puppeteer says patting you on the back comfortingly, you smile and stand up "thank you, i needed to hear that" you grin then head off for home.

so... this one is short... also i know the art doesn't fit with the story but i had a different plan for this story back before i had gotten sick as i had planned out a lot of oneshots back then but well this story and one other oneshort I'm writing have gotten the short end of the stick of my memory and i have completely forgotten what the stories were... admittedly it's the next oneshot which is a Nezha oneshot and a Hanahaki one so... i can probably didn't even plan a plot for it like the lazy twat i am.... anyway hope yo all enjoy this! might make a part two at some point if you all like but until then i'll see you all in the next oneshot bu bye!.
