The Road to WrestleMania was in full swing; After successful showings for both Raw and SmackDown at Elimination Chamber and Fastlane which saw Royal Rumble Winners Sasha Banks and Chase Destiny challenging SmackDown main champions Sonya Deville and Samoa Joe. With less than five weeks to the Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment, Mercedes made her intentions made clear to become the third person to hold both the Raw and SmackDown Live Women's Championship behind fellow Horsewoman Charlotte Flair and chief rival Alexa Bliss after Elimination Chamber by putting Deville in the Bank Statement after she retained inside the demonic structure. For Trevion, he waited until Fastlane after the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles and The Miz to make his challenge clear. After Joe had put Miz to sleep via a quick snatch and grab with Coquina Clutch, Tre stared at the WrestleMania sign in the arena and back at Joe's WWE Championship as if to say "keep it warm for me because I'm taking it at WrestleMania". But Trevion was dealing with another matter at hand, this time directly with his personal life. He was at an all-time happiness with Mercedes and he was ready to take the next step with her. That's right the Limit Breaker was ready to propose to the Boss. After telling his and her closest friends the exciting the news, they decided to keep it between them and cover their tracks so the Cali native had no idea what was coming for her. Trevion had taken Alexis, her husband Matt and Pamela with him so they could go ring shopping.

Alexis: Thanks for taking us out with you Trevion; I know how important this is to you.

Matt: Lexi's right mate, I could tell the last couple of weeks you were thinking about proposing to Mercedes. We want to make sure your proposal goes off without any hiccups.

Trevion: Thanks guys I really appreciate you taking time out to help me out.

Pamela: As much as you've helped us out in the past Limit Breaker, it's time we banded together and help you find the perfect ring for Mercedes.

Trevion smiled at his closest friends and Matt. At first the two didn't get along but when they found out they had common interests such as fishing and storm chasing, The Best Kept Secret and the Man of War quickly became best friends, with the latter even serving as Matt's best man for his and Lexi's wedding back in January. Matt felt it was only right to help Trevion get his time at the altar.

Trevion: Alright first things first is Mercedes into big diamond rings or medium sized karat rings?

Pamela: Well when she was first married, she had about a 35 karat diamond ring.

Trevion: So a large sized ring got it; okay does she have a favorite colored diamond or preference?

Alexis: Well she's a huge fan of the colors emerald green, purple, sapphire and golden yellow.

Trevion: Alright and finally what's the best place to propose in the state of California?

Everyone thought long and hard about Mercedes' favorite spots in her birth state until Pamela came up with one.

Pamela: What about the Six Flags Magic Mountain? Make all of her dreams come true; she'll never admit it but Mercedes loves Six Flags. Always has since she was a little girl and her cousin Snoop would take her whenever she had a break from school.

Trevion: Hey you're right Mercedes has always been enamored with Looney Tunes and since they're like the mascots for Six Flags it'll be the perfect place to pop the question to her. Plus it helps that we're season pass holders. Okay we got our plan, let's go in here and get myself an engagement ring for my Legit Boss.

The friends entered the Kay Jeweler store inside the mall and are welcomed by a beaming presence

Jeweler: Hello and welcome to Kay Jeweler's; how are you today?

Trevion: I'm wonderful, how are you doing today?

Jeweler: Just amazing, how can I be of service?

Trevion: I'm looking for a engagement ring for the amazing leading lady in my life and my friends referred my Kay Jeweler's. Hopefully you guys can come through for me, Alicia.

Trevion looks at the nametag of the employee who smiles brightly at the former Universal champion.

Alicia: Alright why don't you all sit down and tell me about this young lady?

They all sit down in the chairs as Trevion explains in detail what Mercedes is like.

Trevion: Okay well first off my girlfriend is a very passionate person, she will always be the first person who'll make sure your day gets off on the right foot. Whenever you're having a bad day, she's the first person to take time out of her own schedule to cheer you up. Personality-wise, Mercedes whew, she's a very fiery person and in a good way. She loves her friends, her job and most importantly family. In the short time I've come to know this amazing soul, I came to the conclusion that she is definitely the one for me.

Everyone including the store employee teared up at his sentimental words.

Alicia: Wow just wow, that has to be the most romantic interlude I have heard for a significant other. I'd be happy to help you procure the perfect engagement ring for the love of your life.

Trevion: That's all I ever ask for. Mercedes has made me the luckiest guy in the world, it's time I pay her back with the greatest joy known to man.

After a tedious examining of rings by the foursome, Trevion finally stumbled upon ring that was seemingly calling towards him...

Alexis: Whoa Trevion take a look at this one!

Trevion: Alicia tell me more about this one...

Alicia: Great choice Mr. Butler, this ring is apart of the Neil Lane Engagement Diamond collection. Its most prominent feature is of course one and an half carat Princess Cut Diamond in the center. Along with many other princess diamonds in the inside, the ring itself is capped off with a fourteen carat white-gold design and its total diamond weight is two carats with the signature of Mr. Lanes' signature is on the inside.

Trevion: I like it but didn't you guys have a create your own ring feature on your website? What if I want to put my own personal spin on a ring?

Alicia: I'm glad you asked. We actually have an in-store kiosk so you're more than welcome to customize your very own ring.

Trevion: Thank you.

Trevion went to work putting his on ring on display

Trevion: So what do you guys think?

Alexis: It looks absolutely gorgeous Trevion; you'd be hard pressed not to go with what you made.

Trevion looked around towards Matt and Pamela who agreed with the Goddess.

Trevion: Alright Alicia I'll take this one if you don't mind.

Alicia: Excellent, I'll get the ring and paperwork started, the total price will come out around $23,634 dollars.

Trevion soon pulls out a credit card and swipes through the card holder to complete the transaction and takes the ring.

Alicia: Thank you for coming to Kay; and we wish you the best of luck on your proposal.

Trevion: Thank you for all the help Alicia and you guys; Time to get engaged!

A few days later....

The day had finally arrived. The day that Trevion Butler was going to propose to Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado. He had the day all planned out with their puppy Echo over at Mercedes mothers' house, Trevion was going to take Mercedes out on a day of appreciation which would start at a local IHOP then over to a bowling alley which would then cap off at the Six Flags Magic Mountain where the Limit Breaker would pop the question to the woman he loved so much. After spending their last day off before hitting the work grind again, they were just finishing up a ride on the Ninja, Mercedes and Trevion were busy stuffing their faces with blue raspberry cotton candy to which the latter was preparing to propose as he began to pull out the ring box while she wasn't looking.

Mercedes: Wow it feels so good to be back in Los Angeles especially in my favorite spot; I really should thank you for taking.. me... out... Trevion. Trevion?

She turned around only to see her boyfriend of almost a year down on one knee.

Mercedes: Trevion....

Trevion: Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado, words cannot describe how blessed I am to have you in my life. You're the sweetest, caring and most fearless person I know. When I wake up in the morning you're the first person I see and I smile to myself and I think "How did I get so damn lucky?". We have a beautiful puppy together and an amazing mansion but I don't want our journey to stop there. I want to have multiple kids with you, grow old with you and eventually I want to be buried right next to you when God calls us to his kingdom. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and it starts with today. Mercedes, will you marry me?

Mercedes began crying tears of joy as she shook her head.

Mercedes: Yes baby, I will marry you! Nothing would make me happier to be Mrs. Trevion Butler.

Trevion got up and slipped the beautiful ring on the left ring finger on the Boss and Mercedes responded by looking at the purple diamond ring and kissed her new fiancé with all the passion she could muster. Everyone who had witnessed the WWE Superstars get engaged cheered loudly and were ecstatic over the engagement as fireworks exploded in the amusement park's backdrop Magic Mountain.
