Lately, I've been falling back in love with old fandoms. Heroes, Supernatural, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter (I know that the last one is written by a transphobe, but I can enjoy something and still not support the problematic behavior of the writer) probably won't do anything with them, but it's giving me ideas I guess.

I don't know. I keep going back and forth between excitement and insecurity. I mean, I've already spammed my friends a whole bunch about it so I'm probably annoying them, and for whatever reason I always worry that people don't actually care about anything I do or say, like everyone's just humoring me and just wants me to like what they want but...I don't know. Like I said. I'm insecure. It makes me illogical 😅

I don't mean to be awful or annoying. I hope I'm not 😣😣

Um so anyway, the most recent idea is for Harry Potter and maybe Percy Jackson?

It's this Voldemort's daughter thing. Which sounds totally cliche and awful, but I think I made it sound legit.

So, Voldy meets lady, lady and voldy have baby. Baby is named Barbara.

Once mama realized who he was and what he was up to she got scared, ran away, and shipped their daughter off to America to keep her away from him. And voldy eventually kills the bio mom because she won't tell him where the daughter is. Dumbeldore himself sees to it that she's adopted by a gay couple, who are both poc and her brother (also adopted) is queer in some other sense of the word and non gender conforming (maybe also jewish because why not?) so she's exposed to adversity in the hopes that she doesn't end up like voldy

I also have this idea that the muggles are more involved in the "war" thing and maybe a redemption arc thrown Draco's way. (Side note Barbara loses her virginity to Draco and at some point before that has a fling with Harry so they probably fight over her at some point)

But Draco's redemption will low key be based off Zuko's because that was pretty much the best redemption arc I've ever seen and also I've noticed a bunch of similarities between the two (abusive dad's, propaganda, brainwashery)

Barbara will be in Hufflepuff cause my house needs some more love, y'all, and also no one would see that coming in the wizard world. The Dark Lord's offspirng in Hufflepuff? Absolute insanity! She should be in Slytherin! 

Also kinda toying with the idea that her power surpasses Dumbeldore's even (because I think it says somewhere that hes the most powerful or something?) But I'm not sure because that might be too obvious... She might just be average. We'll see.

Momentarily back to the redemption arc, I think I'm gonna have a "Draco alone" type thing during his redemption arc. At some point he'll run away from the Death Eaters and he'll just sorta struggle his way through the muggle world, slowly coming to realize that they're not "impure" the way he'd always been taught. They're just people living different lives to his own. And the golden trio might also have a "field trip with Draco" thing too but I don't know. I don't want it to be exactly like Zuko's because it's a different story but also I really want him to make amends with at least the trio...

I was thinking that Ron is probably the last to come around and forgive him. Maybe he only really believe he's changed after he sees him save Harry or Hermione or just does something genuinely selfless in general

Ooh!! Maybe they actually like have to do field trips with Draco the way the Avatar gang had to with Zuko 🤭 (but again I don't want to be carbon copy of Zuko's story so we'll see)

Draco will help them all with something and in turn they begin opening up to the idea of forgiving him

I really think the events of Half Blood Prince are probably a major tipping point for him. That's when he really realizes "This is wrong."

I think Draco never got the chance to be a decent person where as Zuko was taught good nature by his mother so he's always been good, just troubled, whereas Draco was raised to be inherently bad and in that sense he's probably more like Azula and therefore has a lot more areas he has to grow in and a lot more things he has to unlearn

He'll definitely have a longer road to redemption I think because Zuko was sorta nice before he was bad thanks to his mom but Draco has always just been mean spirited and he has to unlearn everything.

Maybe Harry can be like Katara "I'm not ready to forgive Voldemort but I can forgive Draco."

Might go ahead and add an extra part where the muggles join the war. I mean magic probably over powers weapons but like muggles have nukes and shit 😂 I think I'll build it up with the other stuff too. US military people. Probably from other countries too but it's most fun to rip on my own country especially since historically we're pretty bigoted anyway...

The last bit of spam I have prepared: Barbara's muggle/no-maj friend Stephanie Roberts!

She's very, uh, flamboyant to describe her in one word. Basically sorta kinda similar to Dezzie dearest over in Sandstorm except less angry and sexual and she doesn't curse as much (though she might occasionally drop an F Bomb or two)

She's super quirky I guess you'd call her. Super high strung and very loud. She'll take up a lot of space when she enters the room , in the sense that she sort of demands the spot light but she's actually the best friend for Barbara (Voldy's daughter) and she'll even go so far as to buy a plane ticket all the way to england during year seven when she suspects Barbara is in trouble or something
In real life she'd be the kind of person to annoy the fuck out of me but since she's my character I love her 😂

She'll be into like Shakespeare and acting and stuff. She's probably a lesbian queen. Just saying. What are straight characters? 😂😂

Also little tidbit: Barbara will have ADHD which makes it hard to focus in some classes like potions for example, which really gets her on Snape's bad side because he thinks she's just not paying attention and yells at her for stimming because he's an asshole. And her special interest will be martial arts, which makes her very good at dueling (though she's also something of a pacifist so she primarily does self defense)  And her favorite movie is Karate Kid.

In the events of Goblet of Fire I think maybe or Order of Phoenix there abouts the big reveal of who she is is let out. And everyone turns on her because fear. She'll be sad and alone. Things get complicated with Harry. (She might start out in book for tbh because I don't feel like doing the first three but I might just tack them on anyway we'll see)

And then in Half Blood Prince she'll be whisked away with Draco to stay at the Malfoy Manor. In an act of defiance she'll dye her hair the Hufflepuff house colors. And then at some point she and Draco escapes and yada yada yada.

She might be able to do parsltongue or however it's spelled (that snake language) since Voldy can do it and she's his blood but I don't know. The ability is sort of useless tbh. They don't really use it for anything in canon.
