14 | EPILOGUE

Valdís ended up going back to Queens to finish high school. She reconnected with Peter and the two became high school sweethearts. Superhero life was far too complicated for either of them, so they just remained as vigilantes. Tony sent them each a new suit with better enhancements and features.

The two became famous in Queens for fighting local crime and keeping the bustling New York streets safe. No one at school knew who they were, for they managed to keep their identities concealed, and they were content being simply known as normal students at school.

Valdís ended up getting a job with Catalina da Silva, or the Serpent of the Sea, who was Tony's apprentice. Valdís learned all the tricks of the trade of being an engineer and learned to construct her own suit and tweak it for her own preference.

Both Valdís and Peter looked into going into college, though they weren't exactly sure yet. It seemed as if their superhero lives would give them a more promising future than college. But, for now, the two were still just two high school students by day and vigilantes by night.
