Small black creatures were turning the locals in two shrubs.

Ruel, Albert, Yugo, and I had all split off. Trying to fight 'em away.I smashed the creatures in my path using that room. They all shrink into puddles of ink. "Mia!" My head snapped to my right. An old man was trying to get to his daughter, who stood on top of a particularly high barrel. The creatures were trying to get to her.

Instincts ignored the voice in my head. I ran to the store, yelling, "Stay where it's safe Mister! I'll help." The broom was amazing! And soon I managed to pulverize the creatures within seconds. "Look out!"
"Tomatsu!"

The ground left. My groom fell to the ground. A pair of arms lifted me up; Albert. Green was covering him. Realization hit me.

He was turning into a shrub.

Yugo ran over,"Dad!"

"Yugo," Albert removed one of his hands and reach for his son, "listen to me. You will get a message to tell you about your real family.The message. Go find the message."

"Dad! No! Move! Say something!"

It was no use. Albert had completely turned into a shrub. Gravity took over, I fell to the ground. To shocked to move. "It's all my fault...." I whispered softly.

Softly crying, Yugo turned his head and met my eyes. "No it's not....."

Trying to blink back tears, I nodded to myself. Fully aware it was. I whispered,"Yes it was... I didn't see the creature."

Yugo knew it as well as I. There was no denying it.

"Poor poor Alibert." Ruel muttered, walking over." Don't worry you too. We'll find a cure. I know an Eniripsa who...." He was stopped by another voice. "Where are they?" This encouraged me to sit up. The boy who was the monster was at the end of the road, searching for someone."The boy and girl who freed me from evil Rubilax?"

Huh, the name rings a bell.....

Yugo stood up as Ruel muttered out of the side of his mouth,"Well, I had forgotten about him. You finally woke up then?"

"Sir Percedal of Sadleygrove. Noble night, Order of the Guardians of the Shushus." Percy suddenly knelt down infront of us,"You saved my soul. I will repay this debt, even if it costs me my life."

Like flush came from my cheeks. Being the center of attention with you go certainly made me self-conscious. Plus, I don't mind Percy, but having him with a life debt isn't my kind of thing.

"That's not the way he talks to me," a dark voice said," A knight? Haha, I've heard that one before."

Percy pulled out a sword and yelled at it,"I COMMAND YOU TO PUT A SOCK IN IT DEMON!!!!!!"

Eyebrows raised.

Well, mine at least.

"You'd still be a farmhand if it wasn't for me. And a dead one at that!"
"I had a moment of weakness that's all! And I'd've been just fine without you!" He shouted. You could seriously see he vain on his forehead almost pop.
Rubilax continued, remarking,"The truth is he's nothing but a lowly present, told in wording of guarding the Shushu Especially one of my quality." To my side Yugo sniffed and turned to Alibert's shrub. Now officially ignoring the constant bickering. Feeling failure, I looked behind me and slumped. Dally was hitting Rubilax multiple times onto the ground.

"Look," Ruel said irritated,"I know couple sometimes have their problems but right now, we have bigger snappers to fry!" Dally stopped his violence and took a good look around. Seeing the villagers who've been turned to shrubs. "Oh you had Polters here as well?" Polters?"They Invaded two other villages. They come from the Forbidden Forest. I went myself, but didn't have time to find out very much. I was attacked by vile monster when I was asleep!"

"That's when you cried so I promise to save your life. And then remember whe-"

The knight growled,raising his talking sword over his head and yelled,"Will you shut up??!" He hit Rubilax against a couple of stone bricks. All attention turned to Yugo when he said. "The Forbidden Forest! Let's go! If we can find out why these Polters attacked us, we might be able to find a solution."

The old man's daughter, Mia, forewarned us,"Be careful Yugo, terrible things happen in that forest."

Small boy with orange hair behind me patted my shoulder. I turn from staring at the ground and that his big teary eyes,"Please free our parents." These children don't deserve to have their parents as shrubs." Don't worry,"Yugo reassured,"Tomatsu, Ruel, and I will sort it all out."

"I usually don't work for free-of-charge, but I'll make an exception for an old friend." Ruel-I think that's what he meant- volunteered. At this time, I stood up and looked at Yugo,"Alibert wouldn't be like this if I were so careless. So I'll make sure he'll be back to normal. No matter what."

The Forbidden Forest doesn't look oh-so bad. Sure, the cloth and ropes I called 'shoes' didn't help protect my feet from rocks and thorns. Other than that all seems tranquil.

To the left Yugo stopped in the middle of our hike. He extended his arm out with a focused expression on. What is he doing? Asking myself that I tilted my head. Yugo rotated his hand in a circular motion and pushed the air like there was a wall. Then he turned to me and pushed the air right in front of me. The grip on the broom tightened; a portal appeared in front of me.

I followed the boy's gaze to Az, who was looking at us confused. Oblivious he was flying into Yugo's portal. Eventually he did and flew out of it. The fact I suddenly 'teleported' in front of the Tofu surprised him. He turned to face Yugo and gave a chirp of exclamation, flying away frantically.

For the first time in forever (Frozen anyone?) I laughed. It felt really good. Yugo watched with a giant smile on his face, making my face flush.

After the little episode we kept walking. Following Percedal and Ruel. They were happily chatting away.

"Hey has anyone seen Az?"

Yugo stopped to look around. A smirk for,Ed on my lips; Az made the mistake of peeking from the tree he was hiding behind.

He suddenly disappeared! Reappearing on Yugo's hand with a glare towards his owner. What a dirty trick!! Using portals to snatch his Tofu!

"Gotcha didn't I?" Yugo chuckled,"You know what? We'll play the same trick on sad when we free him."

Oh right.....Alibert....

"Don't feel so bad Tomatsu. We'll free him," Yugo reassured, I sighed deeply.
"I hope so..."

After a few seconds he walked ahead to Ruel and Percedal. Az looked at me one more time before flying off.

As if reflecting my emotions the wind blew harder. What caught me off guard was the sound of a small 'yip' being carried from the wind. It sounded hurt....whatever it was. I strayed from the main path and followed the sound. Which led me down to a clan of bushes. Several ruffled. Curiosity got the best of me.....I looked.

In between the bushes was a small baby wolf/fox. It's fur was black,bathe tail reminded me of a thin piece of Cotton Candy. The fur around his neck was very very light...probably to let him breath easier. His ears was pointed with the color of red outlining it. On the middle of his forehead was a bright red gem. The wolf/fox had his left paw lifted off of the ground. Whimpers came from him.

Slowly I knelt down inches away from him,"Hi buddy. Are you okay?" A bright-yet dim- light came, when it fully dimes down what was in front of me left me appalled.

It was me! Well-no. It wasn't me. But it looked like me! Here's the deal, standing right in front of me, was me! A twin I guess. Whatever it was just creepy! Although.....my left arm was blee-the fox/wolf! He was bleeding!

"Your hurt!"

I reached into the bag and found cloth. "I" watched as I carefully wrapped it around his arm. After I finished he transformed to his original state, having what looked like a smile on his face. Just as I tried to return it he growled. A shadow of black flashed before my eyes and landed behind me. The fox/wolf was standing over a puddle of ink-wait!

A polter!!

He saved me!! The black fuzz ball turned around with a smile of pride. Happy, I scooped him up and hugged him.

"Thank you for saving me. Because of you I'm not weeds!" A moment of silence passed, just filled with a grateful hug.

The boys must be wondering where I've gone to. I sat down the fox/wolf, but noticed my hat was in its mouth. Something was off. For some reason my face turned bright red of embarrassment and insecurity took over. The fox/wolf turned into me once more, and showed me something on my head.

And it wasn't normal.

"Well.....that's new..."

Clear as water, a voice called out,"Tomatsu? Where are you?"

"Yugo, take a look around."
"Piece of cake."

When I turned around I found 'me' as the fox/wolf. His mouth carried a giant blotch of red and yellow. The little rascal climbed onto me and placed my hat onto my head. Hiding the unusual 'items' on my cranium. When he did he settled himself into my arms. I placed him into my bag and picked up my broom.

As soon as the main path came into view Ruel's voice echoed into the forest.
"You see anything Yugo?"

Ruel, Percedal, and Yugo came into view

The twelve year old boy shook his head. But said."There's a really tall tree that way. Why don't we head over there and search?" Now was the best time to prank. Carefully I snuck behind Percy. Yugo and Ruel noticed just as my breath inhaled and shouted out loudly."BOOO!!!!"

Startled, Percy jumped up and withdrew Rubilax. Ready to attack.Both Yugo and I were both laughing as Rubilax remarked,"Outsmarted by a kid. Haha, how pathetic!" Irritated, Percy hit Rubilax."I told you to keep quiet!"

"OW!!!"

"This sword is unbearable."Percy complained,"Believe me, being the guardian of a Shushu is no mean feat!"

((Play song))

An uncomfortable feeling swept over the area. The others may not have noticed it though. This encouraged me to pick up the pace.

Ruel stopped to let us pass,"Folks I just wanna remind you that this is called the Forbidden Forest because it is the most dangerous forest in all of Amakna. And the reason we're here is to discover the reason why the Polters attacked put village. So let's just stay out of trouble. But most of All we should stick together!"

"Okay!" We all replied.

"HELP!!" An anonymous voice called out.

At that moment Percy pointed Rubilax into the direction of the voice,"A damsel in distress! Awesome!!" He began to run into the deep parts of the forest just as the voice shrieked again.Which meant it left us with wide eyes.

What an idiot.....

"Didn't we all just decide to stick together?" Ruel asked, looking at us.

"That's right. So we better follow him." Yugo said, then ran after Percy. The old man looked at me,"What's your say on this Tomatsu?"

I shrugged my shoulders. And ran through the thick trees.

"What great idea. We all follow the Iop."

Meanwhile.....

"What in the world do they want from us?" A thirteen year old with green hair and skin like rich earth asked. An army of Polterx had just invaded their campsite. She was climbing onto a high branch-using her recently "weeded" Dragoturkey.
Her friend, a 17-year-old with blond hair and pointed ears was still on her not deaf Dragoturkey.

"What I wanna know is-woah!-Why did I go along with this crazy plan?" With that said, she shot an arrow from her bow at the troops making at least three turn to ink. Unfortunately for them, more Polters continued to cave in." 'Of course they're Friendly!' " she mocked, "And you call yourself an adventurer?"

"Yeah well we all make mistakes right?"

Right on cue, Percedal jumped out of the bushes and attacked most of the Polters. The others began to flee. Not wanting to become computer ink. (Tomatsu:.....What's a computer??)

Out of the corner of her eyes, the girl with green hair saw a polter come after her. She began to recede in caution, saying"Filthy creatures. They're everywhere!"

Using his Portals Yugo appeared onto the branch. He created two portals, one in front of the polter and one next to the branch. The polter soon found itself falling to the ground. It shook off it's fall and came closer to Percedal and the girl. But the Dragoturkey bucked the seventeen year old off of him and fled. Dally was quick to catch her, a big dopey smile grew on his face when he looked at her. The polter grew closer and closer unti-

A broom came and smashed it into ink!! Ruel proudly patted my back when all was calm. The girl with green hair hopped down to the ground. Yugo came out of his portal, landing next to me.

Ruel looked at Blondie,"I do believe that we've already met. Ruel Struel, your humble servant." He pointed to Percedal,"And this is the intrepid Sir Percedal, renown warrior and knight,"He gestured to Yugo and me,"This is Yugo, the adopted son of my best friend. And this is Tomatsu, Yugo's father recently adopted her this morning. The Polters turned hi-their father into a shrub, along with the rest of the village. We're here to find out why and hopefully find a cure."

Guit mode activated

Both Yugo and I looked down to the ground in sadness.

Blondie gave a nod and said,"Well my name is Evangelyne, and this is Amalia. We're on a pilgrimage together."

"You both have such pretty names," I complimented quietly

"And what are two pilgrims doing in the Forbidden Forest if I may be so bold as to ask?" Ruel asked.

Eva was about to speak, but Amalia cut her off."The same as you. Two nights ago, I had a prophetic dream. Sadida told me to go to the Forbidden Forest for a special mission. So we were destined to meet each other and follow the same path. Even if some people think my imagination is overactive."

"Like who?" Dally asked, dumbly.

"Someone has to be realistic don't they?" She asked angrily. All of us nodded in agreement.

Suddenly Yugo exclaimed,"Cool! The more of us there are! The better the chances of saving my village!"

Ruel was ranting as we walked down the main road to the tall tree. It's starting to get a tad bit annoying.... "Bounty hunter? Ha! A sure road to ruin! Expenses, Equipment.....it costs much more looking for bounty than what it brings in!"

"Really? My father said he always had it good before-"

Ruel cut Yugo off,"You call surviving on roots and dirty water the good life?"

The scene infront of us caused me to freeze. The others didn't seem to notice though, and continued walking. But Amalia ran to the scene and began to cry softly. "Horrible....it's horrible...."

The scene was made up of a giant chunk of the forest. Everything was dark and gloomy and looked as though it had suffered a bad fire. The whole vicinity had a bad vibe roaming around. "Ogrest Chaos!" Eva exclaimed .

"You believe in that old legend?" Ruel asked in disbelief,"I always thought it was Gobball nonsense.Everything gets blamed on Ogrest and nobody even knows if he exists!"

Eva ignored him and walked up to Amalia,"What's the matter?" She asked softly as Amalia began to stop crying.

"I......I felt something. An ancient evil presence. We really aren't welcome Here!"

Oh that definitely helps my case.....

"Well we'll have to teach them some hospitality lessons!!" Percedal said as he drew Rubilax out. The Shushu took form of a sword,"Show off." He scoffed.

The others began to walk into the deep part of the forest. My frozen self melted and I followed. But one step into the burdened areas and everything felt woozy. "Tomatsu? What's wrong child?" Ruel asked, noticing me sitting down. He walked over and knelt down to my level, placing a hand on my back. My hands supported my hands,"I'm.....Im not feeling well...."

"Is she okay?" Eva and Percy walked over.

"Poor thing probably ate bad Gobball Stew." Ruel suggested. Percy picked me up and allowed me to ride on his back to the others. We returned to Yugo and Amalia. I saw the giant tree. It almost touched the sky.
"Woah,"I gasped quietly,"I've never seen a tree that big."

Amalia frowned,"He's been affected too."

"That machine over there,"Ruel looked at a squashed bug,"I pulverized one of those back at Amakna."

Crows loudly sqwaked, drawing our attention to a mound of armor and weapons. Ruel stepped infront of it,"My instincts tell me we aren't the first on the scene,"He laughed heartily, his eyes sparkling,"The good thing about brave adventurers is their pockets are full of Kammas!!" He quickly began to collect coins.

"Ruel?" I squeaked,"A-Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Of course it is! Besides no ones around to stop me!!"

There was a giant crash. And a living tree walked out of the garbage and towards Ruel. "Hey Relax! I just hate seeing waste!" He defended. Dally nervously gasped, whipping out Rubilax."Thats what attacked me in the middle of the night!"

"treechnids!"

The Treechnid stepped forward, and another one came....and another one.....and one more.....

Man what is this a party?

Percedal sat me down on the ground, I tried to stand up but felt like barfing. "Set me free Peasant!" Rubilax hissed.
"No! Never again Demon."

Evangeline took off her cloak and aimed an arrow with her bow. Percedal turned red to see her short black dress. Get. A. Grip.
Ruel jumped to see a Treechnid behind him,"Looks like we have no choice. Time to attack!"

"Take one each!"
"Aggressive Brambles!" Amalia took off her cloak and summoned vines to go towards a Treechnid. They surrounded it and squeezed it to pieces. "Take this!" Percedal jumped in the air and swung Rubilax at his Treechnid. He made it look easy! With a few simple swing and the Treechnid was chopped into firewood. Rubilax was right.....show off......
Ruel, with his shovel in hand, jumped from branch to branch to avoid getting grabbed by his Treechnid. "Kiss my shovel!" The old man threw his shovel like a boomerang it it. Chopping the Treechnid in half.
"Last but not least....my Frozen Arrow!" Eva shot her arrow at the last Treechnus. Ice covered it within seconds. Making it immobile. Percedal walked over and picked me up.

"Not bad for a doddery old Enutrof." Eva mused.

"Not bad for two Kammaless pilgrims." Ruel smiled.

A laugh came from Percedal as he walked us to them."We sure showed them!!"

All seemed fine until the last second. Giant hands came down and grabbed Amalia, Percedal, and me. We started to defend into the sky.

"Amalia! Percedal!! Tomatsu!!!"

Heights?! Anything but that!!!! Sure, the m okay with climbing a tree but this?! No! Just no!!

The hand holding us opened. I clutched onto one of the giant fingers as Dally fell.na portal opened up underneath him, Percy disappeared and was spat out next to Yugo. Then he threw up. Can't say the same for myself. I love as holding on for dear life.
"Getmedowngetmedowngetmedowngetmedown!!!!" I muttered frightfully.

Millions of Polters began to close in on my friends.

"Leaf," An old warm voice called. It was the tree,"Is that you?"

"They're all stopping." Yugo observed. And he was right. The Polters stopped swarming in.

"Little Leaf, your old soft oak is suffering. Strange machines came here. They burned my heart and stole the sap of my brothers."

"Am I dreaming or is she talking to a tree?" Ruel asked from below.
"Why is she calling her Leaf?" Yugo asked.
"He must think she's someone else." Eva assumed.

"My Polters have turned all the have turned all the humans into tree. All the humans. From now onl their destiny and ours will be one and the same."

"Venerable soft oak," Amalia cried softly,"Your mistaken. They all don't have hearts of stone. You must believe me. My name is Amalia Sheran Sharm, daughter of King Sheran Sharm. Great protector of the world's forests."

"So your not leaf Eh?" Soft Oak said angrily.
Eva furrowed her eyebrows,"I don't like that."

"You see? She really is a princess!" Percedal claimed victory to Rubilax.

Wait.

Did I miss something?

Amalia's a princess?
Cool.

The Polters began to swarm the others again. One almost got Eva, luckily Percy smashed it. He turned to Eva,"That deserves a little kiss right?" Just as he puckered his lips and went for a kiss a polter zapped him. He turned into a shrub.
The worst part?
Still in a kissing position.

Back to Amalia!

She stood on Soft Oak's hand,"Listen to me. I have no idea who Leaf is, and I don't even know what Sadida expected of me by guiding me here. But I do know that the worlds forests are threatened in many ways. And only men and women who are free can protect them. Listen to my heart, and you will know that I speak the truth." She placed her hand on Soft Oak. All of his wounds had healed because of her power.

I felt a surge of energy pass by as a bit of her magic healed a wound nearby.
Soft Oak inhaled.

"Amalia of the Sadida Kingdom. Thank you. You have calmed my anger. Like little Leaf did oh so long ago. Out of friendship of you and your people. I shall remain patient and have hope in mankind."

He let Amalia walk off his hand and onto the ground.

"W-Wait! W-What about m-OH BOY!!"

Soft oak had raised his arms up high. Please get me down........ As green energy emitted off of Soft Oak, the Fox/Wolf came out of my bag and hopped to the ground. Only he didn't know we were only miles high.

"BUDDY!!!!"

I let go of the finger, risking my life as I fell and grabbed my friend. For impact I extended my arm out, one of Yugo's portals appeared and we fell into it. Teleported to the safety of the ground.

"Thanks Yugo." I breathed.

He turned around, confused. "But I didn't do that. We were a little busy..." He pointed to Dally, who seemed to have become human again an-WOAH. LIPS SMASHED AGAINST RUELS?!?!?

Bye Childhood........

So who made a portal?

Ruel pushed Percy away and began to spit 'Dally' out of his mouth. Yugo thankfully changed the mood.
"Cool, thanks Amalia! You saved my village!"

The Polters were now carrying the entire group back to Emelka.
"I do declare, this isn't a bad way to travel." Ruel said in glee.
"Dad isn't going to believe the adventure we had!"

"Yugo, Tomatsu, even if we have to battle every last demon in the world. With Iop as my witness I'll repay my life's debt. My blade is yours." Said Dally. Rubilax rolled his eye,"Oh really? Maybe you should as me first!" Ruby's got a point there.......

"Thanks Dally. My father, Tomatsu, and I need to find my family. Join us if you want." Yugo offered. I nodded in agreement as I cradled the fox/wolf.

"Is that Bluestone yours Tomatsu?" Ruel asked.

"Bluestone? Oh! You mean Chimiko! He was hurt in the woods so I've decided to take care of him."

Ruel laughed,"Be careful Kiddo, they've been known to play tricks."

"I think I'll be fine."

He laughed out more time before talking to Yugo and Percy. Meanwhile Amalia and Eva began talking.

"I'd love to help them find their real family too but-"

"But a princess doesn't go off on adventures! A princess is delicate little flower. I know the score you know. And my father and brother never let me forget it. But I'm sick of sitting around looking pretty! I want adventure! I wanna explore the forests of the World!!" Amalia interrupted.

"Let's talk to the king about it, maybe he'll let us help Yugo."

"You really believe that?! You know my Father! He'll go totally crazy. He won't entertain a word of it, you'll see."

"We're back!!" I exclaimed,seeing Yugo's village.

The Polters dispersed to all sides and turned the humans back to normal. When Alibert was healed he immediately hugged Ruel, happy to see his friend again.

"Dad! Are you okay?" Yugo asked.

Alibert turned to his son. He picked up Yugo and to my surprise me too. "Yugo! Tomatsu! Come here little Piwi's" he hugged us tightly."You know I never thought I'd see you two again. You know, we've been on our feet all day. How about you?"

"Yugo learned so much of his powers." I smiled, happy he was okay.

"Speaking of which, we have some important things to talk about." Alibert said, seriously. "We know about the message. We wanted to free you first."

Suddenly a new, dark voice was heard. We all turned our heads to see a mysterious man,"Greetings. My name is Nox. Do as I say and everything will be hmmm.....not so bad." He pointed to Yugo,"You! The boy in the blue hat! We have a lot to talk about."

"The inn is closed, come back tomorrow." Alibert barked sternly, holding us tight.

"Get behind me princess!" Eva took out her bow and shot it at Nox. He held out his hand and the arrow frostin mid air. "Your quick your Cra. But not quick as quick as I am!" He disappeared, reappearing behind Eva. "He's a Xelor!" Ruel Exclaimed,"A time Wizard!"

A force ripped me out of Alibert's arms. Yugo was ripped out too. Everyone flew back, but was frozen in mid air after a second. No.....I don't like this......

"And my time is precious," Nox added,"And your time is up!"

Nox floated over to Yugo,"Now my boy. You will tell me everything you know about Grougaloragran the Dragon and I mean everything !"

Dragon!

This is so familiar...

"Dragon? I......I don't understand....."

A whole new mood was set.

"Maybe you'll talk if I deal with your friends fi-"

"NO!!!! HE DOESNT KNOW!!!!" My mouth shouted for some.stinkin. Reason. Suddenly Nox was right next to me. He leaned forward to study me.......When he chuckled to himself I knew something was off. "Ahhh......Seems I've found you again Tomatsu."

WHAT?!?!?!

"I don't know what...your.....talkin about."

"Of course you don't remember your life before you woke up this morning. I've been searching for you little one. But to think I'd find you with the Eliatrope. Perfect! Now, since you say he doesn't know of the Dragon. Tell me what you know. "

"The Eliacube. Grougaloragran helped to create the Eliacube."

Okay, seriously. What are these words coming out of my mouth?!

Nox's eyes widened,"What else do you know."

I only stared at him, for what seemed like forever. After several seconds he grew impatient. "Maybe you'll talk more if I deal with some of your friends. Starting with this little Tofu. My machines will pluck it one feather at a time, to find out why it is so filled with Wakfu."

He plucked one feather from Az. It was shining blue for a weird reason. The feather flew out of Nox's hand and wrote something in the air. The writing separated. One half going into Yugo's eyes and the other into my own.

'Eliatrope Child, you must set out to find your real family immediately. They live on Oma island. Find the Lost Traveler, one who speaks with heart that's pure and selfless. She will help you on your quest.'

When my eyes focused Nox was infront of me. A sword in hand centimeters away from the middle of my eyes.
"Tell me what you just heard little brat of I'll crush you and your friends." He threatened Yugo. I've probably have been more scared in my life now than........

Thinking.........

I think...some kind of Candy's birthday. What?

"Don't you lay a finger on my daughter." Alibert grabbed his shovel and tried to hit Nox on the head. But he disappeared before Alibert could give him the smack down, causing the shovel to dig into the ground. The time spell broke. And everyone fell to the ground. Alibert's hair grew white when we all looked at him, I crawled over.

"Alibert?"

He smiled at me before collapsing.

We were on the outskirts of the village. Ready to start our adventure.

'Thank you for taking me in, Alibert. I'll make sure your son is safe.'

"C'mon kiddo. We have a new family to find." Ruel called me out.

I turned back to them and smiled.

"C'mon guys! It's adventure time. To Oma island and Yugo's family!" Dally cheered. Ruel flicked a tear shaped jewel into a branch bending, making a giant circle. The jewel created a type of portal in the circle. "Right, let's start by going to Kelba Market. With a little luck we can get a map there." Ruel advised, standing infront of the portal.

"Follow me friends!" Dally said and jumped into the portal. Ruel and Yugo followed behind. I stayed and waited for Eva and Amalia.

"I've made up my mind Eva. I'm not going back to the castle. If my father loves me I'm sure he'll accept my decision. You don't have to come if you don't want to." Amalia said.

Eva scoffed,"You don't even know how to cook a Newt Kabob! But I'm warning you we help Yugo find his family and then go straight to the castle!"

"Okay, but quit calling me 'Princess' and stop treating me like one. From now on I'm your good friend Amalia." She said sternly.

"Okay. I'll treat you as a friend.....Princess...."

That's when I slipped my hand into Eva's open palm. She looked down and I smiled.

"Are we going?"

For the first time I saw her smile. She nodded. All three of us walked into the portal.
