"What do you mean there isn't anything you can do?!" Elise questioned Master Thomas.

"What General Ellis has is beyond any type of treatment," Thomas said. Elise looked at Ty, who slept in the bed, still comatose. Thomas looked over at Ian. They stood around Ty's bed; Ian, Ant, Dr. Alister, Elise, Matthew, and Thomas. Ian nods a bit, disappointed but he still wanted more info.

"Okay, is there any way to wake him from his coma?" Ian asked making Thomas uncross his arms.

"You want to wake him up? Like purposefully?" Thomas asked alarmed. Ant nods.

"Yeah, we kinda need him, and him being in a coma is not what we need." Ant said before Ian spoke.

"Why is waking him up so bad?" Ian asked. Thomas looked at Ian.

"From what Elise has told me on the way here, General Ellis has already displayed unexplained aggression, having attacked her before," Thomas said before he paused, trying to find a nice way to word things. He sighed softly. "General Ellis has a form of Ender Taint, it's a rare infliction. And since Eise said that the General got it while in this dimension rather then The End dimension. That means a highly skilled sorcerer did this to him which adds a whole new layer to this. I'm quite shocked really...people usually die within the first week of getting Ender Taint. They turn aggressive, attacking friends and family, they forget who they are and the rash itself is very painful. Victims usually...they usually commit suicide to stop the suffering. The fact that General Ellis is still alive...it's unheard of." Elise squeezed Ty's hand, she looked at Thomas.

"There has to be something you can do," Elise said making Thomas nod.

"Yes...I can put him out of his misery." Thomas said making Ant shake his head.

"No, you are not killing him, you are supposed to save him. So save him!" Ant snapped. Thomas looked at Ant.

"There is no saving him! If this was caught in the early stages, he would have had a chance, but he's so late in the game that I'm surprised that it hasn't killed him yet!" Thomas snapped back. Elise looked at Ty, feeling her chest tighten. 'No...No! He can't die! I can't lose him...' Elise thought as her eyes watered with tears. The tears running down her cheeks making Thomas's eyes soften. "I'm sorry, Elise, I really am. I wish there was something I could do...but there isn't. All I could do is delay his symptoms but he would always be in tremendous amounts of pain. No one deserves to be in that type of pain." Elise squeezed Ty's hand with hers.

"I-It's not fair." Elise cried. Ian looked at Thomas.

"What about Harvey? Elise said that Seto found something that could cure this before he disappeared." Ian said to him. Thomas paused thinking as Matt went over to Elise.

"Maybe he did, I don't know about that. We would have to ask him ourselves." Thomas said before looking at Ian as he spoke.

"How much longer will Ty be comatose?" Ian asked. Thomas shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know, could be days, months...or even hours. That's how comas work, you never know when the person will wake up. And I have a feeling that when General Ellis does wake up, he won't be himself." Thomas said. He looked at Ty. "So if you are committed to saving him...I would recommend restraining him to the bed, people under tremendous amounts of pain are unpredictable and very dangerous in his case." Ian nods a bit and looks at Alister.

"Alister, if Ty was to wake up, do you have a way to make him stay under?" Ian asked him. Alister stared at Ty, thinking. He knew of a few ways, but he didn't have any of the equipment or herbs in other to do anything that he was thinking of. He bit his bottom lip back as an idea came to mind. 'No...that's dangerous...The body cannot tolerate such a tincture for long...' He thought. His eyes looked at Ian.

"I can only think of one way, but I can only buy you three more days before I'm forced to stop using it on him," Alister said making Ant looked at him.

"Why only three days?" Ant asked. His eyes looked at the Captain.

"The body can only handle belladonna for so long," Alister said making Ian's eyes snapped to Alister.

"Belladonna is a highly poisonous plant, Alister!" Ian snapped. Alister nods.

"Yes, yes it is. But a tincture can be crafted from it to put a person into a continuous state of sleep for a few hours. You just cannot admission the tincture for more than three days." Alister said.

"And what happens after three days?" Ian asked him. Alister bit his bottom lip back.

"Belladonna is a dangerous plant, Commander. Give him too much or admission it for too long and the body would not be able to tolerate it...Its poisonous properties would kill him." He said. Alister's eyes soften at Ian. "You have to trust me, I understand your doubt but this is the only thing I have that can keep him in a sleep state if he were to wake up." Ian stared at Alister, he crossed his arms at him.

"I'm trusting you, Alister. No more then three days, and you are the only one who handles this tincture. I don't want anyone else giving him the tincture, it has to be you...Got it?" Ian asked. Alister nods at him. Ian uncrossed his arms, thinking for a moment. "And it doesn't sit well with me that you have such a thing to begin with. You basically have poison in a bottle that could be used on anyone." Alister nods again.

"Yes, but there are many plants that are used for medicine that are poisonous. And can I ask how you knew so much about belladonna?" Alister asked curiously. Ian shrugged his shoulders.

"I've used poisons on people before. Henbane and Belladonna are some of the most poisonous plants out there and the ones I usually use." Ian said making Ant speak.

"It's unnerving that you know that and how to use it on people." Ant said. Ian's eyes shifted over to Ant.

"Good..." Ian responded. Thomas looked at Alister.

"Elise told me that Captain Max is suffering from amnesia," Thomas said. Alister's eyes looked at him.

"Yes, he is. You want to see him?" Alister asked. Thomas nods. Alister stepped back. "Alright." He leads Thomas away to check on Captain Max. Ian stared at Ty, thinking. He looked at Elise, his eyes softening.

"Elise." He said. Elise looked at him through her teary eyes. Ian gives her a soft smile. "I'm not gonna let Ty go without a fight, alright? We'll fix what's wrong with him." Ant nods, agreeing.

"Yeah, as far as skillful people go, General Ellis is one of the top contenders. We need him, not only that, he's second in command." Ant said. Ian smirked a bit, looking at Ant.

"I'm sure that's your only reason for caring so much," Ian mumbles to him making Ant glare at him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ant snapped at him. Ian chuckled softly, amused.

"All men are weak to women's tears. It's not just you, Ant." Ian said before he looked at Elise. "I gotta go, keep an eye on him for me, Elise." Elise nods at him before he leaves. He went over to Captain Max's bed, moving the curtain aside and going into the curtained off room. He looked at Thomas. "So?" Thomas lowered his hand from Max's forehead.

"Magic was indeed involved. And whoever did it was either a complete novice or really meant to wipe his memories clean." Thomas said. Ian stood at the foot of the bed, crossing his arms at Thomas.

"Can you fix it?" Ian asked. Thomas looked at Ian, he shakes his head.

"No, not me, healing the head is tricky," Thomas said disappointing Ian. Thomas smiled a bit. "Hey, I said I couldn't do it. But I do know someone who is skilled in healing magic." Ian looked at Thomas, hopeful.

"Really? Who is it?" Ian asked interested. Thomas loses his smile.

"That's the problem if you want her to fix Captain Max's memories...she'll want something in return," Thomas said. Ian uncrossed his arms.

"I don't care, I'll pay any price she wants--"

"She won't want money, Commander Stapleton." Thomas interrupted. Ian looked at Max as Alister spoke.

"Who is she?" He asked.

"Master Kaylen Hart." He said catching Ian's attention.

"One of the Seven Light Mages Elites," Ian said. Thomas nods at him.

"Yes, if you have Phil talk to her, he's an Elite, she might do it for the Sky Army. But if you were to ask her yourself, she wouldn't do it because you are Sky Army. She's not a big fan of you guys to begin with. But she'll do it for the other Elitists." Thomas said. Ian sighed, placing his hand on the footboard.

"I've met her, she's helped us in the past because Seto asked her. Wait, Seto never told us she would want something in return." Ian said. Thomas shrugged his shoulders at him.

"That's Harvey for you, he tends to not want to burden others with his problems. Master Kaylen usually wants rare items. So if you want her to fix Captain Max's memory. You'll have to find the item she wants first." Thomas said. Alister looks at Ian.

"Commander, you don't have to do this. Captain Max's memories can come back on their own." Alister said. Ian paused, thinking. He looked at Max.

"Max," Ian said. Max looked at him. "What do you want to do? You want to wait for your memories to return or do you want Master Kaylen to restore them?" Max's eyes looked away, thinking.

"I-I mean...From what I can remember, which isn't really much..." Max said before looking back at Ian. "It seems that you could really use help so...I think restoration would be better. So I can help you faster." Ian nods before looking at Thomas.

"Can you get Master Phil here?" Ian asked. Thomas nods.

"He should be here soon."
